The gut microbiome is defined as an ecological community of commensal symbiotic and pathogenic microorganisms that exist in our *** microbiome dysbiosis is a condition of dysregulated and disrupted intestinal bacterial homeostasis,and recent evidence has shown that dysbiosis is related to chronic inflammation,insulin resistance,cardiovascular diseases(CVD),type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),and *** is well known that obesity,T2DM and CVD are caused or worsened by multiple factors like genetic predisposition,environmental factors,unhealthy high calorie diets,and sedentary ***,recent evidence from human and mouse models suggest that the gut microbiome is also an active player in the modulation of metabolic syndrome,a set of risk factors including obesity,hyperglycemia,and dyslipidemia that increase the risk for CVD,T2DM,and other *** research aims to identify treatments to increase the number of beneficial microbiota in the gut microbiome in order to modulate metabolic syndrome by reducing chronic inflammation and insulin *** is increasing interest in supplements,classified as prebiotics,probiotics,synbiotics,or postbiotics,and their effect on the gut microbiome and metabolic *** this review article,we have summarized current research on these supplements that are available to improve the abundance of beneficial gut microbiota and to reduce the harmful ones in patients with metabolic syndrome.

The present paper deals with a model design through Unified Modeling Language (UML) for a mobile based elec-tricity bill deposit system. Due to complex life style of people this model is proposed in the form of UML Class, Sequence and Use Case diagrams. For implementation of proposed model, a real case study of Uttar Pradesh Electricity Bill deposit System is considered. By the use of this model, one can display the status of deposited electricity bill on a hand held mobile device system.

Modeling plays an important role for the solution of the complex research problems. When the database became large and complex then it is necessary to create a unified model for getting the desired information in the minimum time and to implement the model in a better way. The present paper deals with the modeling for searching of the desired information from a large database by storing the data inside the three dimensional data cubes. A sample case study is considered as a real data related to the ground water and municipal water supply, which contains the data from the various localities of a city. For the demonstration purpose, a sample size is taken as nine but when it becomes very large for number of localities of different cities then it is necessary to store the data inside data cubes. A well known object-oriented Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to create Unified class and state models. For verification purpose, sample queries are also performed and corresponding results are depicted.

Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis is an infectious deadly disease and the treatment of which is one of the most severe challenges at the global level. Currently more than 20 chemical medications are described for the treatment of TB. Regardless of availability of several drugs to treat TB, the causative agent, M. tuberculosis is nowadays getting resistant toward the conventional drugs and leading to conditions known as Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and extensively drug resistant tuberculosis (XDR-TB). This situation has terrified the global health community and raised a demand for new anti-tuberculosis drugs. Medicinal plants have been used to cure different common as well as lethal diseases by ancient civilizations due to its virtue of variety of chemical compounds which may have some important remedial properties. The aim of the present review is to focus the anti-tubercular medicinal plants native to India as well as the plants effective against MDR or XDR-TB across the globe. In the present review, we have addressed 25 medicinal plants for TB and 16 plants effective against MDR-TB testified from India and 23 herbal plants described for MDR-TB across the world during 2011-2015. These herbal plants can serve as promising candidates for developing novel medications to combat multidrug resistant M. tuberculosis.

The human gut is colonized by a community of microbiota,primarily bacteria,that exist in a symbiotic relationship with the *** microbiota-host interactions play a critical role in the regulation of human *** changes to the composition of gut microbiota,referred to as gut dysbiosis,has been linked to the development and progression of numerous diseases,including cardiovascular disease(CVD).Imbalances in host-microbial interaction impair homeostatic mechanisms that regulate health and can activate multiple pathways leading to CVD risk factor *** CVD risk factors,including aging,obesity,dietary patterns,and a sedentary lifestyle,have been shown to induce gut *** is associated with intestinal inflammation and reduced integrity of the gut barrier,which in turn increases circulating levels of bacterial structural components and microbial metabolites,including trimethylamine-N-oxide and short-chain fatty acids,that may facilitate the development of *** article reviews the normal function and composition of the gut microbiome,mechanisms leading to the leaky gut syndrome,its mechanistic link to CVD and potential novel therapeutic approaches aimed towards restoring gut microbiome and CVD *** CVD is the leading cause of deaths globally,investigating the gut microbiota as a locus of intervention presents a novel and clinically relevant avenue for future research.

SCHS: Smart Cluster Head Selection Scheme for Clustering Algorithms in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks are energy constraint networks. Energy efficiency, to prolong the network for a longer time is critical issue for wireless sensor network protocols. Clustering protocols are energy efficient approaches to extend the lifetime of network. Intra-cluster communication is the main driving factor for energy efficiency of clustering protocols. Intra-cluster energy consumption depends upon the position of cluster head in the cluster. Wrongly positioned clusters head make cluster more energy consuming. In this paper, a simple and efficient cluster head selection scheme is proposed, named Smart Cluster Head Selection (SCHS). It can be implemented with any distributed clustering approach. In SCHS, the area is divided into two parts: border area and inner area. Only inner area nodes are eligible for cluster head role. SCHS reduces the intra-cluster communication distance hence improves the energy efficiency of cluster. The simulation results show that SCHS has significant improvement over LEACH in terms of lifetime of network and data units gathered at base station.

目的:评估实习医师施行巩膜扣带术治疗视网膜脱离的效果。方法:非比较回顾性病例。评估2017-07/2018-02在印度三级护理中心接受巩膜扣带术修复的孔源性视网膜脱离(RRD)患者的人口学、临床特征和效果。对所有患者的记录进行了筛查。统计分析采用Fisher确切干预,Mann-Whitney检验和Logistic回归分析。结果:共41例患者,其中男32例(78%),女9例(22%)。在我们的研究中,Ⅰ期解剖成功率为95%,视力明显提高。2例患者术后出现并发症—眼压升高、新裂孔以及再次脱离,经玻璃体切除术(PPV)内填塞及激光成功治疗。结论:研究表明,通过指导,实习医生对RRD患者行巩膜扣带术无论从术后解剖成功率、视力还是并发症发生率来看,均能获得较高的成功率。因此,尽管现有的治疗方法多种多样,但对于实习医生来说,巩膜扣带术是一种可接受的治疗RRD的主要方法。
