Background:t.ere exist.few maximal oxygen upt.ke(VO_(2max))non-exercise-based predict.on equat.ons,fewer using machine learning(ML),and none specifically for older *** direct.measurement.of VO_(2max)is infeasible in large epidemiologic cohort.st.dies,we sought.t. develop,validat.,compare,and assess t.e t.ansport.bilit. of several ML VO_(2max)predict.on ***:t.e Balt.more Longit.dinal St.dy of Aging(BLSA)part.cipant. wit. valid VO2_(max)t.st. were included(n=1080).Least.absolut. shrinkage and select.on operat.r,linear-and t.ee-boost.d ext.eme gradient.boost.ng,random forest.and support.vect.r machine(SVM)algorit.ms were t.ained t. predict.VO_(2max)*** developed t.ese algorit.ms for:(a)t.e overall BLSA,(b)by sex,(c)using all BLSA variables,and(d)variables common in aging ***,we quant.fied t.e associat.ons bet.een measured and predict.d VO_(2max)and ***:t.e age was 69.0±10.4 years(mean±SD)and t.e measured VO_(2max)was 21.6±5.9 mL/kg/*** absolut. shrinkage and select.on operat.r,linear-and t.ee-boost.d ext.eme gradient.boost.ng,random forest.and support.vect.r machine yielded root.mean squared errors of 3.4 mL/kg/min,3.6 mL/kg/min,3.4 mL/kg/min,3.6 mL/kg/min,and 3.5 mL/kg/min,*** quart.les of measured VO_(2max)showed an inverse gradient.in mort.lit. *** VO_(2max)variables yielded similar effect.est.mat.s but.were not.robust.t. ***:Measured VO_(2max)is a st.ong predict.r of *** ML can improve t.e accuracy of predict.on as compared t. simpler approaches but.est.mat.s of associat.on wit. mort.lit. remain sensit.ve t. *** st.dies should seek t. reproduce t.ese result. so t.at.VO_(2max),an import.nt.vit.l sign,can be more broadly st.died as a modifiable t.rget.for promot.ng funct.onal resiliency and healt.y aging.

Moyamoya disease (md) is a chronic idiopat.ic vasculopat.y charact.rized by bilat.ral st.nosis of t.e dist.l int.rnal carot.d art.ries (ICA’s) wit. subsequent.format.on of abnormal collat.ral vessels. t.e underlying et.ology is unknown [1]. Pat.ent. wit. md are predisposed t. int.acranial hemorrhage or cerebral ischemia given t.e fragile nat.re of t.e collat.ral circulat.on. Alt.ough t.ere is no curat.ve t.eat.ent.for md, t.ere are surgical palliat.ve procedures t.at.can augment.cerebral blood flow t. areas of impaired perfusion and circumvent.t.e abnormal collat.ral circulat.on. Medical management.exist. for pat.ent. who are not.surgical candidat.s. Because t.e incidence of md peaks during t.e second and t.ird decades of life, it.can pot.nt.ally affect.women of childbearing age [2]. However, t.e opt.mal anest.et.c and obst.t.ic management.of t.e part.rient.wit. md remains cont.oversial. We present.a case of a primigravida wit. a hist.ry of md who underwent.int.acranial bypass graft.ng prior t. concept.on and subsequent.y had a successful cesarean delivery t.at.was complicat.d by t.ansient.ischemic at.acks (t.A) in t.e post.art.m period.

研究目的:二氧化钛(t.O2)纳米颗粒已经广泛应用于化妆品、防晒霜、涂料和牙膏等。这些纳米颗粒性质非常稳定,能在废水和生物固体中转移和分散。现有研究表明,t.O2纳米颗粒对动物正常生理活动具有毒性等负面作用。但是,它们对植物是否具有毒性特别是是否会产生植物基因毒性至今尚不清楚。因此,本文使用随机扩增多态性DNA技术研究t.O2纳米颗粒是否对西葫芦具有基因毒性,为t.O2纳米颗粒排放进入环境后的潜在植物毒性风险评价提供依据。创新要点:首次发现了t.O2纳米颗粒对西葫芦具有基因毒性。重要结论:采用随机扩增多态性DNA技术,发现t.O2纳米颗粒污染处理的西葫芦样品与未处理样品的基因组DNA图谱相比,不仅在谱带强度有明显差异,而且存在谱带消失和新谱带产生现象,表明t.O2纳米颗粒对西葫芦具有基因毒性。
