Every mobile operator of today"s world switches their technology over from 2G (second generation) to 3G (third generation) network. Operators are keen analyzing their CDR (call detail record) obtained over the past usage for predicting the behavior of their customers and their usage. The operators are willing to mine knowledge from real-world dataset which implies the pattern of user mentality on this changing world. To identify the usage of 2G and 3G services the classification models were trained using the data collected from PAKDD 2006 dataset. In order to obtain the prediction accuracy, the classifiers were evaluated using 10 folds cross validation. On comparing the results of the experiment, J48 performed more accurately and random tree consumed less time.

Rapid and automated identification of blight disease in potato will help farmers to apply timely remedies to protect their *** detection of blight disease can be cumbersome and may require trained *** overcome these issues,we present an automated system using the Mask Region-based convolutional neural network(Mask R-CNN)architecture,with residual network as the backbone network for detecting blight disease patches on potato leaves in field *** approach uses transfer learning,which can generate good results even with small *** model was trained on a dataset of 1423 images of potato leaves obtained from fields in different geographical locations and at different times of the *** images were manually annotated to create over 6200 labeled patches covering diseased and healthy portions of the *** Mask R-CNN model was able to correctly differentiate between the diseased patch on the potato leaf and the similar-looking background soil patches,which can confound the outcome of binary *** improve the detection performance,the original RGB dataset was then converted to HSL,HSV,LAB,XYZ,and YCrCb color spaces.A separate model was created for each color space and tested on 417 field-based test *** yielded 81.4%mean average precision on the LAB model and 56.9%mean average recall on the HSL model,slightly outperforming the original RGB color space *** analysis of the detection performance indicates an overall precision of 98%on leaf images in a field environment containing complex backgrounds.

AIM To describe our institutional experience with conversion from intravenous(IV) fentanyl infusion directly to enteral methadone and occurrence of withdrawal in critically ill mechanically ventilated children exposed to prolonged sedation and *** With Institutional Review Board approval,we retrospectively studied consecutively admitted invasively mechanically ventilated children(0-18 years) sedated with IV fentanyl infusion > 5 d and subsequently converted directly to enteral *** were obtained onsubject demographics,illness severity,daily IV fentanyl and enteral methadone dosing,time to complete conversion,withdrawal scores(WAT-1),pain scores,and need for rescue *** were classified as rapid conversion group(RCG) if completely converted ≤ 48 h and slow conversion group(SCG) if completely converted in > 48 *** outcome was difference in WAT-1 scores at 7 *** outcomes included differences in overall pain scores,and differences in daily rescue *** Compared to SCG(n = 21),RCG(n = 21) had lower median WAT-1 scores at 7 d(2.5 vs 5,P = 0.027).Additionally,RCG had lower overall median pain scores(3 vs 6,P = 0.007),and required less median daily rescue opioids(3 vs 12,P = 0.003) than *** starting daily median methadone dose was 2.3 times the daily median fentanyl dose in the RCG,compared to 1.1 times in the SCG(P = 0.049).CONCLUSION We observed wide variation in conversion from IV fentanyl infusion directly to enteral methadone and variability in withdrawal in critically ill mechanically ventilated children exposed to prolonged *** those children who converted successfully from IV fentanyl infusion to enteral methadone within a period of 48 h,a methadone:fentanyl dose conversion ratio of approximately 2.5:1 was associated with less withdrawal and reduced need for rescue opioids.

This study develops information based on index, and termed hydro-ecological-index, to represent the need of a riverine ecosystem characterized through a biologically relevant flow regime. The flow regime is defined by a set of parameters, called Indicators of Hydrologic Alteration. These parameters are predicted at the catchment scale by a hydrologic model, called Soil and Water Assessment Tool. Then the Maximum Entropy Ordered Weighted Averaging method is employed to aggregate non-commensurable biologically relevant flow regimes to develop hydro-ecological- index at the catchment scale. The resulting index reflects the variability of the need of the riverine ecosystem at catchment scale and thus different catchments can be evaluated and compared.

The performance on prediction by mathematical models which represent the conceived image of a system such as hydrology is oftentimes represented through calibration and verification processes. Oftentimes a best fit between observed and predicted flows is obtained through correlation coefficient (R2) and the Nash Sutcliffe model efficiency (NSE) by minimizing the average Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of the observed versus simulated flows. However, these days, a new paradigm is emerging wherein accounting for the flow variability for the protection of freshwater biodiversity and maintenance of goods and services that rivers provide is paramount. Therefore, from an ecohydrology perspective, it is not clear if the existing method of model calibration meets the needs of the riverine ecosystem at its best. Thus, this study investigates and proposes a methodology using entropy theory to gage the calibration of Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) from an ecohydrology perspective characterized by the natural flow-regime paradigm: Indicators of Hydrologic Alteration.

Cardioprotective activity of alcoholic extract of Tinospora cordifolia (Willd.) Miers in calcium chloride-induced cardiac arrhythmia in rats

The present study investigated the antiarrhythmic activity of alcoholic extract of Tinospora cordifolia （T. cordifolia） in CaCl2 induced arrhythmia. CaCl2 （25 mg/kg） was administered by intravenous infusion （iv） to produce arrhythmia in rats. The animals were then treated with T. cordifolia extract （150, 250, and 450 mg/kg） and verapamil （5 mg/kg,iv）. Lead II electrocardiogram was monitored. Plasma calcium, sodium and potassium levels were measured. In CaCl2 induced arrhythmia, heart rate was decreased by 41.10%, T. cordifolia at 150, 300, and 450 mg/kg decreased the heart rate by 26.30%, 29.16%, and 38.29%, respectively, and verapamil reduced the heart rate by 9.70% compared to the normal group. The PQRST waves were normalized and atrial and ventricular fibrillation was controlled in rats treated with verapamil and T. cordifolia. CaCl2 increased calcium and sodium levels and decreased potassium levels in blood. T. cordifolia dose-dependently decreased calcium and sodium levels and increased potassium levels. Hence, T. cordifolia can be used in antiarrhythmic clinical settings and beneficial in atrial and ventricular fibrillation and flutter and may be indicated in ventricular tachyarrhythmia.

The present study investigated the effect of garlic （Allium sativum Linn.） aqueous extracts on ischemic pre- conditioning and ischemia-reperfusion induced cardiac injury, as well as adenosine involvement in ischemic pre- conditioning and garlic extract induced cardioprotection. A model of ischemia-reperfusion injury was established using Langendorff apparatus. Aqueous extract of garlic dose was standardized （0.5%, 0.4%, 0.3%, 0.2%, 0.1%, 0.07%, 0.05%, 0.03%, 0,01%）, and the 0.05% dose was found to be the most effective. Higher doses （more than 0.05%） were highly toxic, causing arrhythmia and cardiodepression, whereas the lower doses were ineffective. Garlic exaggerated the cardioprotective effect of ischemic preconditioning. The cardioprotective effect of ischemic preconditioning and garlic cardioprotection was significantly attenuated by theophylline （1,000 ~tmol/L） and 8-SPT （10 mg/kg, i.p.） and expressed by increased myocardial infarct size, increased LDH level, and reduced nitrite and adenosine levels. These findings suggest that adenosine is involved in the pharmacological and molecular mechanism of garlic induced cardioprotection and mediated by the modulation of nitric oxide.

Diabetic neuropathies are a family of nerve disorders caused by diabetes. Symptoms of the disease include nerve palsy, mononeuropathy, mononeuropathy multiplex, diabetic amyotrophy, painful polyneuropathy, autonomic neu- ropathy, and thoracoabdominal neuropathy. In this study, type 2 diabetes in rats was induced with nicotinamide- streptozotocin. Drug treatment was initiated on the d 15, with the combination regimen of metformin, pioglitazone and glimipiride or metformin and sitagliptin or sitagliptin, amitriptyline and sitagliptin and led to significantly im- proved glycemic control, increased grip strength and paw jumping response on d 21, 28 and 35 （P 〈 0.001）. Signif- icant increases in blood protein levels and decreases in urinary protein levels were observed in the animals treated with the different regimens on d 21, 28 and 35 （P 〈 0.001）. Combined treatment of streptozotocin and nicotinamide caused marked degeneration of nerve cells, while administration of metformin and sitagliptin showed tissue regen- eration and no body weight gain. In conclusion, treatment with sitagliptin and sitagliptin combined with metformin or amitriptyline results in no body weight gain, but causes an increase in grip strength and pain sensitivity, exhibits neural protection, and reverses the alteration of biochemical parameters in rats with streptozotocin-nicotinamide induced type 2 diabetes.
