High-Performance Room-Light-Driven β-AgVO3/mpg-C3N4 Core/Shell Photocatalyst Prepared by Mechanochemical Method

A new highly efficient, visible light active, silver vanadate/polymeric carbonitride “core/shell” photocatalyst was prepared mechano-chemically prepared by grinding mixtures of β-silver vanadate and mesoporous graphitic carbonitride. Besides the core/shell photocatalyst, β-silver vanadate/mesoporous polymeric carbonitride composites and supported mpg-C3N4@β-silver vanadates were prepared. The materials were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen ad- and de-sorption, diffuse reflectance UV-Vis measurement (DRS), infrared spectroscopy, Raman microscopy, and time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy. The photocatalytic performance of the materials was investigated in the degradation of organics using pharmaceutical ibuprofen and 4-(isobutyl phenyl) propionic acid sodium salt as model compounds under batch conditions. Reaction intermediates were studied by electrospray ionization and time-of-flight mass spectrometry (ESI-TOF-MS). Additionally, the degree of mineralization was determined by total organic carbon TOC measurements. The core/shell photocatalyst has shown superior photocatalytic activity compared to the other prepared composites or supported photocatalysts as well as the single mpg-C3N4. Scavenger experiments showed that valence band holes and anionic superoxide radicals are the main active species in the photocatalytic process. Monitoring Heart Rate Variability Based on Self-powered ECG Sensor Tag

This paper proposes a batteryless sensing and computational device to collect and process electrocardiography(ECG)signals for monitoring heart rate variability(HRV).The proposed system comprises of a passive UHF radio frequency identification(RFID)tag,an extreme low power microcontroller,a low-power ECG circuit,and a radio frequency(RF)energy *** microcontroller and ECG circuits consume less power of only~30μA and~3 mA,***,the proposed RF harvester operating at frequency band of 902 MHz~928 MHz can sufficiently collect available energy from the RFID reader to supply power to the system within a maximum distance of~2 *** extract R-peak of the ECG signal,a robust algorithm that consumes less time processing is also *** information of R-peaks is stored into an Electronic Product Code(EPC)Class 1st Generation 1st compliant ID of the tag and read by the *** reader is functioned to collected the R-peak data with sampling rate of 100ms;therefore,the user application can monitor fully range of *** performance of the proposed system shows that this study can provide a good solution in paving the way to new classes of healthcare applications.

Objective:Recently,much attention has been paid to natural product-derived compounds for antidiabetic drug *** recent studies are being focused on clarifying the bioactivity of plants and derived *** aim of the present study was to investigate the anti-oxidant and antidiabetic activities of Clerodendrum inerme leaf extract(CILE)in streptozotocin-induced diabetic ***:*** leaves were analyzed for preliminary phytochemical properties and the content of total phenolic and flavonoid were *** vitro anti-oxidant activity was measured using DPPH ***-induced diabetic model in mice was applied for in vivo study by the effect of CILE at two dose levels(343 and 686 mg/kg b.w.).Results:The results showed that *** leaves contained the major constituents of flavonoids,alkaloids,tannins,triterpenes,and *** exhibited the total polyphenol and flavonoid content with 120.458 mg gallic acid equivalent/g dry weight and 4.494 mg hispidulin equivalent/g dry weight,*** anti-oxidant activity of CILE was expressed with IC50=25.28μg/m *** at the doses of343 mg/kg and 686 mg/kg after 7 d administration exerted a decrease in plasma glucose,protected the liver,kidneys against oxidation stress via increasing glutathione content in the liver,and reduced malondialdehyde content in the liver and *** histological analysis in diabetic mice treated with CILE also showed the pancreaticβ-cells regeneration via increasing the size and number of pancreatic ***:These findings suggested that *** leaves had potent antidiabetic and anti-oxidant *** results provide reliable scientific base,which is the premise for further research and development of CILE as supplements.

Literature review and analysis of the development of health outcomes assessment instruments in Chinese medicine

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the development of health outcomes assessment instruments in Chinese medicine. METHODS： A comprehensive literature search for all published articles in China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Chongqing VIP Database and WANFANG Data was conducted. The studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to extract information according to a predesigned assessment instrument. RESULTS： A total of 97 instruments for health outcome assessment in Chinese medicine were identified. Of these questionnaires, 7 were generic, 12 were condition-specific and 78 were disease-specific. All instruments were suitable for adults, children, and both men and women. These instruments aimed to evaluate the health-related quality of life, signs and symptoms as well as patient satisfaction and doctor-reported outcome. However, the descriptions were poorly constructed for some of the most basic parameters, such as the domains and items, administrative mode, response options, memory recall periods, burden evaluation, format, copyright, content validity, and other properties. CONCLUSION： The instrument development for health outcomes assessment in Chinese medicine is increasing rapidly; however, there are many limitations in current methodologies and standards, and further studies are needed.

越南松树中泰国伞滑刃线虫的分离与鉴定

2012-2013年从越南3个省调查采集到病死松树样本52份。将病死松木中所获线虫分离、提纯、培养后,通过显微测量及Deman公式计算所获线虫的V、a、b等相关部位数值,并对其形态特征进行描述。初步结果表明在样本中仅分离到1种伞滑刃属线虫,即泰国伞滑刃线虫(Bursaphelenchus thailandae Brassch&Brassch-Bidasak,2002)。通过对其ITS序列的研究,以伞滑刃属线虫ITS区通用引物P1:5’-CGTAACAAGGTAGCTGTAG-3’,P2:5’-TTTCACTCGCCGTTACTAAGG-3’,分别对分离得到的线虫进行PCR扩增,得到880bp左右的扩增片段。通过克隆并测序,然后进行测序分析及比对,结果鉴定出线虫种群为泰国伞滑刃线虫(***),这也与前部分形态鉴定相符合。这是越南关于松树上伞滑刃属线虫种类研究的首次报道。

Vegetation Biomass of Sargassum Meadows in An Chan Coastal Waters,Phu Yen Province,vietnam Derived from PlanetScope Image

SW(Seaweed)is a valuable coastal resource for its use in food,cosmetics,medicine and other *** this study,PS(PlanetScope)imagery was combined with field sampling to demonstrate the capability of mapping of SAV(Submerge Aquatic Vegetation)(including both SW and SG(Seagrass)beds)and biomass mapping of Sargassum meadows in An Chan coastal waters,Tuy An district,Phu Yen province,*** term of SAV and Sargassum mapping,authors proposed an improved remote sensing technique based on Sagawa’s BRI(Bottom Reflectance Index)algorithm with attention to Tassan’s concept in discrimination of light attenuation coefficient Kd between shallow and deep ***’results showed high accuracy in mapping of SAV and Sargassum distribution with overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient of 92.52%and 0.8957,*** classified class of SW(*** sp.)then was separated absolutely from other classes in SAV map for estimation of Sargassum *** red and green spectral pre-processed BRI channels(***3 and BRI2)of PS were used to estimate the Sargassum biomass using a multiple 2nd order polynomial regression model with very high accuracy(R2=0.9707;RMSE=±109.21 g/m2).The average total Sargassum biomass was 897.8 g/m2 with total Sargassum yield in whole region reaching a value of 449.57 tons in cover area of 50.32 ha of Sargassum *** result opens the great potential of biomass and yield estimation of Sargassum and other SW meadows in coastal waters(including enough optically deep waters)by remote sensing techniques based on PS imagery.

The main objective of this study was to select the best accessions for use as potential breeding sources in Thua Thien Hue province.A total of 16 accessions were used in this study,of which three accessions from Ho Chi Minh city in vietnam,four accessions supplied by Japan,six accessions collected from China,two accessions provided by the United States and one MèVàng local accession(control)from Thua Thien *** field experiment was conducted from August 2016 to November 2016 and laid out in a random complete block design(RCBD)for three replications at Huong Long ward,Hue city,Thua Thien Hue *** accession was observed 10 plants per *** size of each plot was 10 m2 and the spacing of 25 cm×10 cm was *** results showed that experiment accessions can grow under Thua Thien Hue *** those,the actual yield of VV12,VDM21,VH12,VDM50,VH01 and VDM45 were higher than the other accessions with 1.65,1.64,1.55,1.54,1.52 and 1.45 tons/ha,*** content of these six accessions was above 50%.Therefore,VV12,VDM21,VH12,VDM50,VH01 and VDM45 can be used for breeding and cultivation under local condition.
