Improving Auditors＇ Going Concern Judgment by Applying Statistical Failure Models as an Analytical Procedure

The main goal of this research is to enhance the auditor＇s judgment ability in going concern opinion by applying bankruptcy prediction models as an analytical procedure. Data for this research have been collected through questionnaires. The statistical population consists of auditors who are members of Iranian Association of Certified Public Accountants （IACPA）. The research results reflect that：（1） Auditors do not use statistical techniques for assessing going concern as an analytical procedure; （2） Auditors do not use these techniques as a tool to decrease the bias of judgments in assessing the going concern assumption; （3） Auditors do not use statistical techniques to assess audit risk in the planning stage; （4） Auditors do not use statistical techniques to assess audit risk in the final stage. Furthermore this research shows that auditors believe that the ＂standard concerning usage of analytical procedures needs more clarification＂ and ＂statistical bankruptcy predication models can help auditors in the planning stage＂. The other goal of this research is to show different auditor＇s judgments in assessing the going concern opinion with and without applying the bankruptcy prediction models as an analytical procedure. The result shows that the judgment of auditors toward the going concern assumption has improved by using statistical bankruptcy predication models.

Arginine-glycine-aspartic acid （RGD） dendrimer-based nanopatterns on poly（L- lactic acid） were used as bioactive substrates to evaluate the impact of the RGD local surface density on the chondrogenic induction of adult human mesenchymal stem cells. During chondrogenic commitment, active extracellular matrix （ECM） remodeling takes place, playing an instructive role in the differentiation process. Although three-dimensional environments such as pellet or micromass cultures are commonly used for in vitro chondrogenic differentiation, these cultures are rather limited with respect to their ability to interrogate cells in celI-ECM interactions. In the present study, the nanopatterns of the tunable RGD surface density were obtained as a function of the initial dendrimer concentration. The local RGD surface density was quantified through probability contour plots for the minimum interparticle distance, constructed from the corresponding atomic force microscopy images, and correlated with the cell adhesion and differentiation response. The results revealed that the local RGD surface density at the nanoscale acts as a regulator of chondrogenic commitment, and that intermediate adhesiveness of cells to the substrates favors mesenchymal cell condensation and early chondrogenic differentiation.

During the last decade, the leafhopper transmitted Wheat dwarf virus （WDV） has become a serious problem both in northwestern China and Hungary. In order to study the molecular diversity and population structure of WDV in these two countries, 39 Chinese isolates and 16 Hungarian isolates were collected from different regions of China and Hungary, and their genomes were sequenced. All isolates belonged to the wheat strain of WDV and showed limited genetic diversity. The highest and lowest nucleotide sequence identities among isolates from China and Hungary were 99.9 and 90%, respectively. In all isolates, the lowest nucleotide sequence identity was 89.5% between MO10-1 and KP10-5, which were collected from Martonv^is^r and Kompolt, Hungary. Phylogenetic analyses showed the genome sequences of 55 WDV isolates belong to two big clades, but no clear correlation to geographical location. Population difference analyses indicated that the Chinese and Hungarian WDV populations have no significant difference. The regions in WDV genome with relatively low nucleotide diversities represented protein coding regions suggested that these regions evolved under negative selection, and might be one of the causes restricting the number of genetic variants.

Cell adhesion processes are governed by the nanoscale arrangement of the extracellular matrix （ECM）, being more affected by local rather than global concentrations of cell adhesive ligands. In many cell-based studies, grafting of dendrimers on surfaces has shown the benefits of the local increase in concentration provided by the dendritic configuration, although the lack of any reported surface characterization has limited any direct correlation between dendrimer disposition and cell response. In order to establish a proper correlation, some control over dendrimer surface deposition is desirable. Here, dendrimer nanopatterning has been employed to address arginine-glycine-aspartic acid （RGD） density effects on cell adhesion. Nanopatterned surfaces were fully characterized by atomic force microscopy （AFM）, scanning tunneling microscopy （STM） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, showing that tunable distributions of cell adhesive ligands on the surface are obtained as a function of the initial dendrimer bulk concentration. Cell experiments showed a clear correlation with dendrimer surface layout： Substrates presenting regions of high local ligand density resulted in a higher percentage of adhered cells and a higher degree of maturation of focal adhesions （FAs）. Therefore, dendrimer nano- patterning is presented as a suitable and controlled approach to address the effect of local ligand density on cell response. Moreover, due to the easy modification of dendrimer peripheral groups, dendrimer nanopatterning can be further extended to other ECM ligands having density effects on cells.

P92钢管的生产旨在获得回火马氏体的微观组织;但在某些条件下,尤其在生产厚壁钢管时,可能会形成少量的铁素体。对此,本文对众多P92钢试样进行了大量深入的微观组织分析,并研究了回火马氏体基体中存在少量铁素体组织对其短期和持久性能的影响。发现P92钢管中可能存在成因和性能不同的2种铁素体组织;在钢液凝固过程中,如果铁素体和奥氏体形成元素未保持适当的平衡,稳定铁素体(也称δ-铁素体)会形成并保留在冷却至室温后的微观组织中;在热处理过程中,如果从奥氏体化温度冷却的速度较慢,奥氏体会分解成铁素体和碳化物,形成另一种形式的铁素体;对不含铁素体和含铁素体体积分数为8%的试样进行对比分析,未观察到P92钢短期和持久性能上的明显变化,如进行了持续时间达70 000h的蠕变性能试验,蠕变断裂数据处在基于ECCC评定数据曲线的分散带内。最后提出采用比较法测定无缝钢管和锻件中铁素体组织含量的指导方法,目前已经作为VdTV数据表,得到了确认和公布。

Background:The European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association(ECHSA)Congenital Heart Surgery Database(CHSD)was founded in 1999 and is open for worldwide *** current dataset includes a large amount of surgical data from both Europe and *** purpose of this analysis is to compare patterns of practice and outcomes among pediatric congenital heart defect surgeries in Europe and China using the ***:We examined all European(125 centers,58,261 operations)and Chinese(13 centers,23,920 operations)data in the ECHSA-CHSD from *** mortality,postoperative length of stay,median patient age and weight were calculated for the ten benchmark operations for China and Europe,***:Benchmark procedure distribution frequencies differed between Europe and *** China,ventricular septal defect repair comprised approximately 70%of procedures,while Norwood operations comprised less than one percent of all *** cardiac procedures were rare in China *** procedures in STAT mortality category 1,Chinese centers had lower operative mortality rates,while procedures in categories 3 and 5 mortality is lower in European *** mortality over the time period decreased from 3.89%to 1.64%for the whole cohort,with a sharper decline in *** drop coincides with an increase of submitted procedures over this ***:Chinese centers had higher programmatic volume of congenital heart surgeries,while European centers have a more complex case *** for patients with functionally univentricular heart was performed less commonly in *** comparison of patterns of practice and outcomes demonstrate opportunities for continuing bidirectional transcontinental collaboration and quality improvement.
