简要地回顾了代价敏感学习的理论和现有的代价敏感学习算法.将代价敏感学习算法分为两类,分别是直接代价敏感学习和代价敏感元学习,其中代价敏感元学习可以将代价不敏感的分类器转换为代价敏感的分类器.提出了一种简单、通用、有效的元学习算法,称为经验阈值调整算法(简称ETA).评估了各种代价敏感元学习算法和ETA的性能.ETA几乎总是得到最低的误分类代价,而且它对误分类代价率最不敏感.还得到了一些关于元学习的其它有用结论.文章是"Thresholding for Making Classifiers Cost-sensitive"的改进和扩展版本,原文章由victor ***和Charles ***完成,发表于AAAI2006国际会议.

spreadsheets contain a lot of valuable data and have many practical *** key technology of these practical applications is how to make machines understand the semantic structure of spreadsheets,e.g.,identifying cell function types and discovering relationships between cell *** existing methods for understanding the semantic structure of spreadsheets do not make use of the semantic information of cells.A few studies do,but they ignore the layout structure information of spreadsheets,which affects the performance of cell function classification and the discovery of different relationship types of cell *** this paper,we propose a Heuristic algorithm for Understanding the semantic structure of spreadsheets(HUss).specifically,for improving the cell function classification,we propose an error correction mechanism(ECM)based on an existing cell function classification model[11]and the layout features of *** improving the table structure analysis,we propose five types of heuristic rules to extract four different types of cell pairs,based on the cell style and spatial location *** experimental results on five real-world datasets demonstrate that HUss can effectively understand the semantic structure of spreadsheets and outperforms corresponding baselines.

Pericytes are classically defined as contra ctile cells within the central nervous system that regulate blood flow and permeability of the blood-brain barrier(BBB).This one-sided view is gradually changing,and pericytes are now considered versatile cells that can switch their function in response to different stimuli(Uemura et al.,2020).In addition to their role as gatekeepers of the BBB and maintaining homeostasis of the brain’s microenvironment through adj usting the vascular intraluminal dia meter,pericytes are both sensors and initiators of inflammation.

Magnetization reversal processes of hexagonal dense arrays of bi-segmented Ni and Fe50Co50 nanowires consisting of two well defined diameters (45 and 80 nm) have been *** nanowires were grown inside of tailored pores of anodic alumina templates by combined anodization,atomic layer deposition (ALD) and electrodeposition *** experiments have allowed to identify their two-step magnetization reversal process ascribed to the respective segments of different *** is concluded from the differential susceptibility observed in the hysteresis loops,contrary to those for nanowires with homogeneous *** results are also confirmed by the first-order reversal curve (FORC) distribution diagrams,where an elongation parallel to the interaction axis around two coercive field values is obtained,which is correlated to the difference in diameter of the two *** well-defined two-step magnetization reversal process through the nanowire diameter design is thought to be very useful for the advanced control of the remagnetization in arrays of magnetic multidomain systems.

This study extended blending proportion range of ordinary Portland cement(OPC)and calcium sulfoaluminate(CsA)cement blends,and investigated effects of proportions on setting time,workability,and strength development of OPC-CsA blend-based *** analysis(TGA)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)were conducted to help understand the performance of OPC-CsA blend-based *** setting time of the OPC-CsA blends was extended,and the workability was improved with increase of OPC *** the early-age strength decreased with increase of OPC content,the strength development was still very fast when the OPC content was lower than 60%due to the rapid formation and accumulation of *** 2 h,the OPC-CsA blend-based mortars with OPC contents of 0%,20%,40%,and 60%achieved the unconfined compressive strength(UCs)of 17.5,13.9,9.6,and 5.0 MPa,*** OPC content had a negligible influence on long-term *** 90 d,the average UCs of the OPC-CsA blend-based mortars was 39.2±1.7 MPa.

As part of efforts to restore fishery resources and recover damaged coastal ecosystems,artificial reefs are often anchored on the seafloor in coastal zones,to provide new habitats for marine *** aim of the study was to describe the structure of a community of benthic invertebrates colonising a niche-type artificial reef(AATN in spanish).Nine structures were anchored at depths of 16±1.5 m for 99 weeks(22 months)in the Area of Benthic Resource Management and Exploitation(AMERB)in coastal waters of the Region of Bio Bio,*** results showed that,at 3 months from submersion of the NTAR,much of the artificial substrate remained bare and there were only low levels of specimens of Balanus ***,showing mean coverage of 11.26%,and even lower proportions of Rhodophyta,with mean coverage of 0.34%.At 6 months,the presence of hydrozoans was seen,decreasing the coverage of the barnacles,which was aided further at 8 months with the arrival of barnacle predatory *** 8 months,new benthic invertebrates appeared and competed for the *** included sponges and *** 99 weeks,the hydrozoans dominated the substrate,followed by barnacles and Rhodophyta,the first colonising organisms,leading to colonisation by motile macro-invertebrates,mainly consisting of crustaceans,echinoderms and *** AATN artificial system provides an ideal substrate for the development of early ecological succession and the use of this technology should be feasible in the recovery process of habitat damaged by anthropogenic actions and climate change.

The aim of this study is to appraise the potential of calcium sulfoaluminate(CsA)cement-based grouts in simulated permafrost *** hydration and performance of CsA cement-based grouts cured in cold environments(10,0,and−10℃)are investigated using a combination of tests,including temperature recording,X-ray diffraction(XRD)tests,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and unconfined compressive strength(UCs)*** recorded temperature shows a rapid increase in temperature at the early stage in all the ***,results of the TGA and XRD tests show the generation of a significant quantity of hydration products,which indicates the rapid hydration of CsA cement-based grouts at the early stage at low ***,the CsA cement-based grouts exhibit remarkably high early *** UCs values of the samples cured for 2 h at−10,0,and 10℃ are 6.5,12.0,and 12.3 MPa,*** UCs of the grouts cured at−10,0,and 10℃ increases continuously with age and ultimately reached 14.9,19.0,and 30.6 MPa at 28 d,*** findings show that the strength of grouts fabricated using CsA cement can develop rapidly in cold environments,thus rendering them promising for permafrost applications.

Assessments of phytoplankton diversity in sabah waters,North Borneo,have primarily relied on morphology-based identification,which has inherent biases and can be ***-Generation sequencing(NGs)technology has been shown to be capable of overcoming several limitations of morphology-based *** were collected from the sepanggar Bay over the course of the year 2018 in different monsoon ***-based identification and NGs sequencing of the V8–V9 region of the 18s LsU rDNA were used to investigate the diversity of the phytoplankton *** and NGs showed complementary results with more diatom taxa detected by microscopy whereas NGs detected smaller and rarer *** harmful algal genera in the study site comprised of skeletonema,Margalefidinium,Pyrodinium,Takayama,and Alexandrium as detected by *** study showed that that an integrative approach of both morphological and molecular techniques could provide more comprehensive information about the phytoplankton community as the approach captured quantitative variability as well as the diversity of phytoplankton species.
