Background:Health personnel face challenges in diagnosing vector-borne and other diseases of poverty in urban *** is a need to know what rapid diagnostic technologies are available,have been properly assessed,and are being implemented to improve control of these diseases in the urban *** paper characterizes evidence on the field validation and implementation in urban areas of rapid diagnostics for vector-borne diseases and other diseases of *** body:A scoping review was ***-reviewed and grey literature were searched using terms describing the targeted infectious diseases,diagnostics evaluations,rapid tests,and urban *** review was limited to studies published between 2000 and 2016 in English,spanish,French,and *** and exclusion criteria were refined post hoc to identify relevant literature regardless of study design and geography.A total of 179 documents of the 7806 initially screened were included in the ***(n=100)and tuberculosis(n=47)accounted for the majority of studies that reported diagnostics performance,impact,and implementation *** studies,assessing mainly performance,were identified for visceral leishmaniasis(n=9),filariasis and leptospirosis(each n=5),enteric fever and schistosomiasis(each n=3),dengue and leprosy(each n=2),and Chagas disease,human African trypanosomiasis,and cholera(each n=1).Reported sensitivity of rapid tests was variable depending on several ***,specificities were high(>80%),except for schistosomiasis and *** and implementation outcomes,mainly acceptability and cost,followed by adoption,feasibility,and sustainability of rapid tests are being evaluated in the *** to implementing rapid tests range from cultural to technical and administrative ***:Rapid diagnostic tests for vector-borne and other diseases of poverty are being used in the urban context with demonstrated impact on case ***

The main subject of the report consists in showing positive course of Russian agriculture over the last years-entering the global market. That＇s why it is essential to make following steps to support manufactures aiming them more actively at export： to develop export operations; to develop actively agro-industrial complex perspectives for entering the WTO; to ensure the food safety of agro-industrial complex while exporting the products; in the context of globalization Russian regions are entering more actively the global market as the relatively independent subjects of international economical relationships. The food safety of Russia-such condition of the state economy, when food independence of the country is provided, provision; physical and economic utility of food products is guaranteed by the state and corresponds to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in safety and quality. Participation in the WTO gives to the country set of advantages in the decision food independence. In the world, the country and in region management of efficiency agriculture with a view of advancement to food safety, should be coordinated necessarily with food independence. state support of the Russian agro-industrial complex on the federal and regional levels when entering into the world market-is a factor of the formation of a new geopolitical status of Russia in the world arena, it is the new selection mechanism of the development of globalization processes in favor of the active participation of the agro-industrial complex of Russia in the world economy.

During intraoperative fluorescence navigation to remove various neoplasms and during pharmacokinetic studies of photosensitizers in laboratory animals,in many cases,the ratio of photosensitizer accumulation in the tumor and normal tissue can reach>10-fold,which inevitably changes their optical *** the same time,the tumor formation process causes various metabolic and structural changes at cellular and tissue levels,which lead to changes in optical properties.A hardwaresoftware complex for the spectral-fluorescence studies of the content of fluorochromes in biological tissues with significantly different optical properties was developed,and it was tested on optical phantoms with various concentrations of photosensitizers,absorbers,and *** correct the influence of optical properties on the photosensitizer concentration analysis by fluorescence spectroscopy,we propose the spectrum-processing algorithm,which combines empirical and theory-based approaches.

The application of enzymatic extracts and conidia of Beauveria bassiana in Metamasius spinolae and Cyclocephala lunulata was evaluated. The variables were mortality and time of death. In M. spinolae, mortality with extracts 29%, conidia 27% and the combination of both 31%, all had a time of death of four days. Although with different symptoms, used enzymatic extracts: contraction and softening of the joints;by conidia: mycelium in the joints;in the combination of conidia and enzymatic extracts: abundant aerial mycelium. In C. lunulata, 100% mortality in all treatments;Time of death: enzymatic extracts and extracts with conidia 1.2 days;conidia 2.8 days. symptoms were different, enzymatic extracts: melanization and internal tissue lysis;enzymatic extract and conidia: mycelium emerged and melanization;conidia: mycelium emerged. Enzymatic extracts showed insecticidal activity in M. spinolae and C. lunulata. These results suggest the potential of enzymatic extracts as biocontrol agents to improve the use of entomopathogenic fungi.

Different global agendas have discussed the role of soils in mitigating and reducing global problems related to climate change,food security,biodiversity and erosion,among *** this in mind,the aim was to draw up an overview of the main soil agendas in Europe and Brazil,analysing their impact on the establishment of legal frameworks for soil use and *** Brazil,pastures are seen as an important alternative for converting degraded areas into ecosystem *** this end,a literature review was carried out using databases on the scopus,Web of science,science Direct and scielo platforms,as well as consulting documents from the European Union Missions in Horizon Europe and Brazilian legislation on the *** a pilot river basin,the Potential for Conservation Use(PCU)method was applied,which is used in Brazil to assess the impacts of different uses on the natural capital of soils,serving as a metric to guide public soil conservation *** was concluded that,on the European scene,discussions on soils have taken place in an integrated and organised way,with actions to mobilise different players in *** Brazil,even though there are important legal frameworks,actions are still restricted and disjointed,pointing to the need for progress in soil *** both scenarios,there is a need for scientifically validated metrics at regional scales that can contribute to a harmonised database capable of subsidising the development of efficient public policies to advance soil conservation at a global level.

Conservative management of perforated duodenal diverticulum: A case report and review of the literature

Duodenal diverticula are a relatively common condition. They are asymptomatic, unless they become complicated, with perforation being the rarest but most severe complication. surgical treatment is the most frequently performed approach. We report the case of a patient with a perforated duodenal diverticulum, which was diagnosed early and treated conservatively with antibiotics and percutaneous drainage of secondary retroperitoneal abscesses. We suggest this method could be an acceptable option for the management of similar cases, provided that the patient is in good general condition and without septic signs.

Introduction: Degeneration of the cervical spine (CDSD) prevalence is nearly 90% by the 7th decade. This is the first research that compares the outcomes between the Anterior Approach (AA) and Posterior Approach (PA) to cervical myelopathy (CM) in the elderly. Materials and Methods: A retrospective observational study of electronic health records at the Hospital Central Sur de Alta Especialidad (HCSAE), PEMEX from January 2010 to May 2020 with patients older than 60 years submitted to cervical surgery. For the analysis we elaborated two groups according to the surgical approach: AA vs PA;we analyzed the trans-operative behavior, the immediate outcome, and after 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. Results: span>As a total of 145 patients, the prevalence of CM in elderly was the 63.8% with a median age of 69 (64 - 75) years. We found statistical differences in strength outcome only in the P3m (p = 0.011), for sensitivity we found major prevalence of affection in the PA group. Porcine respiratory disease complex （PRDC） is a serious health problem that mainly affects growing and finishing pigs. PRDC is caused by a combination of viral and bacterial agents, such as porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus （PRRsV）, swine influenza virus （sIV）, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae （Myh）, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae （APP）, Pasteurella multocida and Porcine circovirus 2 （PCV2）. To characterize the specific role of swine influenza virus in PRDC presentation in Colombia, 11 farms from three major production regions in Colombia were examined in this study. nasal swabs, bronchial lavage and lung tissue samples were obtained from animals displaying symptoms compatible with sIV. Isolation of sIV was performed in 9-day embryonated chicken eggs or Madin-Darby Canine Kidney （MDCK） cells. Positive isolates, identified via the hemagglutination inhibition test, were further analyzed using PCR. Overall, 7 of the 11 farms were positive for sIV. notably, sequencing of the gene encoding the hemagglutinin （HA） protein led to grouping of strains into circulating viruses identified during the human outbreak of 2009, classified as pandemic H1n1-2009. serum samples from 198 gilts and multiparous sows between 2008 and 2009 were obtained to determine antibody presence of APP, Myh, PCV2 and PRRsV in both sIV-H1nlp-negative and -positive farms, but higher levels were recorded for sIV- HI nlp-positive farms. Odds ratio （OR） and P values revealed statistically significant differences （p〈0.05） in PRDC presentation in gilts and multiparous sows of farms positive for sIV-HInlp. Our findings indicate that positive farms have increased risk of PRDC presentation, in particular, PCV2, APP and Myh.
