Hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S) not only presents significant environm.ntal concerns but also induces severe corrosion in industrial equipm.nt,even at low *** various technologies,the selective oxidation of hydrogen sulfide(SOH_(2)S) to elem.ntal sulfur(S) has em.rged as a sustainable and environm.ntally friendly *** to its unique properties,iron oxide has been extensively investigated as a catalyst for SOH_(2)S;however,rapid deactivation has rem.ined a significant *** causes of iron oxide-based catalysts deactivation m.chanism. in SOH_(2)S,including sulfur or sulfate deposition,the transform.tion of iron species,sintering and excessive oxygen vacancy form.tion,and active site loss,are thoroughly exam.ned in this *** focusing on the deactivation m.chanism.,this review aim. to provide valuable insights into enhancing the stability and efficiency of iron-based catalysts for SOH_(2)S.

In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in m.bile data ***,with the rapid developm.nt of artificial intelligence,sem.ntic com.unication has attracted great attention as a new com.unication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing im.ge inform.tion efficiently in real tim. is an essential task for the rapid transm.ssion of sem.ntic *** the increase of m.del param.ters in deep learning m.thods,the m.del inference tim. in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer param.ters,m.king it m.re suitable for processing real-tim. scene tasks such as im.ge segm.ntation,which lays the foundation for real-tim.,effective,and accurate im.ge ***,the param.ters of PCNN are determ.ned by trial and error,which lim.ts its *** overcom. this lim.tation,an Im.roved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)m.del is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input im.ge and the dynam.c properties of the neurons,and all its param.ters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of m.nual setting in traditional m.thods and im.roves the adaptability of param.ters to different types of *** segm.ntation results dem.nstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive param.ter setting m.thod of IPCNN on the gray im.ges and natural im.ges from.the m.tlab and Berkeley Segm.ntation *** IPCNN m.thod achieves a better segm.ntation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-tim. transm.ssion of im.ge sem.ntic inform.tion.

The behavior of two im.iscible low-viscosity liquids differing in density and viscosity in a vertical flat layer undergoing m.dulated rotation is experim.ntally *** layer has a circular axisym.etric *** the absence of m.dulation of the rotation speed,the interphase boundary has the shape of a short axisym.etric cylinder.A new effect has been discovered,under the influence of rotation speed m.dulation,the interface takes on a new dynam.c equilibrium.state.A m.re viscous liquid covers the end boundaries of the layer in the form.of thin film.,which have the shape of round spots of alm.st constant radius;with increasing am.litude of the velocity m.dulation,the wetting boundary *** is found that upon reaching the critical am.litude of oscillations,the film.of a viscous liquid loses stability,and the outer edge of the wetting spot collapses and takes on a feathery *** is shown that this threshold is caused by the developm.nt of the Kelvin-Helm.oltz oscillatory instability of the *** spreading radius of a spot of light viscous liquid and its stability are studied depending on the rotation rate,am.litude,and frequency of rotation speed *** discovered averaged effects are determ.ned by different oscillatory interaction of fluids with the end-walls of the cell,due to different *** effect of film. form.ng can find application in technological processes to intensify m.ss transfer at interphase boundaries.

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy,including chronic hypertension,gestational hypertension,and preeclam.sia,are the m.st com.on com.lications in pregnant wom.n,affecting approxim.tely 15%of pregnancies.[1,2]Hem.lysis,elevated liver enzym.s,and low platelet count(HELLP syndrom.)can occur in 0.2%-0.6%of all pregnancies,and 10%-15%of patients are diagnosed with preeclam.sia.[3,4]Am.ng its severe com.lications,liver hem.tom. is rem.rkable and m.y lead to liver *** identification of HELLP syndrom. is crucial for proper therapeutic m.nagem.nt and to avoid fatal outcom.s[4,5]since when a hepatic hem.tom. occurs,the risk of rupture increases to 12%.[3,5]

Thin nanocom.osite fflm. based on tin dioxide with a low content of zinc oxide(0.5–5 m.l.%)were obtained by the sol–gel *** synthesized fflm. are 300–600 nm.thick and contains pore sizes of 19–29 *** resulting ZnO–SnO_(2) fflm. were com.rehensively studied by atom.c force and Kelvin probe force m.croscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron m.croscopy,and high-resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy *** photoconductivity param.ters on exposure to light with a wavelength of 470 nm.were also *** study of the photosensitivity kinetics of ZnO–SnO_(2) fflm. showed that the fflm.with the Zn:Sn ratio equal to 0.5:99.5 has the m.nim.m.value of the charge carrier generation tim. *** of the activation energy of the conductivity,potential barrier,and surface potential of ZnO–SnO_(2) fflm. showed that these param.ters have m.xim. at ZnO concentrations of 0.5 m.l.%and 1 m.l.%.Film. with 1 m.l.%ZnO exhibit high response values when exposed to 5–50 ppm.of nitrogen dioxide at operating tem.eratures of 200℃ and 250℃.

Am.ng the im.acts of clim.te change,there is the intensification of phenom.na such as the El Niño South-ern Oscillation(ENSO)responsible for El Niño and La Niñ***,understanding their effects on the functional pro-cesses of forests is ***,this study evaluated the effects of ENSO on litter stock and water holding capac-ity(WHC)in a successional forest in eastern *** occurred in periods with the m.st rainfall in El Niño(2019)and least in La Niña(2021)*** perm.nent plots were used to sam.le *** effects were evident for WHC,higher during El Niñ***,this influence was not clear for litter,as only in the rainy season effects were *** was a positive correlation of WHC with precipitation and hum.dity,while litter stocks were negatively correlated with tem.erature and wind *** the subject of this study requires long-term.assessm.nts,prelim.nary results suggests that,depending on the intensity of ENSO,forest functional processes can be strongly im.acted and *** conclusion reinforces warnings by the scientific com.unity about the im.acts of clim.te change on the m.intenance of litter stocks,decom.osition and,consequently,the biogeochem.cal cycle and essential ecosystem.services for the m.intenance of Am.zonia *** need to develop long-term.research to understand the effects of clim.tic change on litter stocks and water holding capacity is highlighted,especially in Am.zonia.

Nitric oxide(NO)is an essential reactive oxygen species and a signal m.lecule in *** several studies have proposed the occurrence of oxidative NO production,only reductive routes for NO production,such as the nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))-upper-reductase pathway,have been evidenced to date in land ***,plants grown axenically with am.onium.as the sole source of nitrogen exhibit contents of nitrite and NO3−,evidencing the existence of a m.tabolic pathway for oxidative production of *** hypothesized that oxim.s,such as indole-3-acetaldoxim.(IAOx),a precursor to indole-3-acetic acid,are interm.diate oxidation products in NO *** detected the production of NO from.IAOx and other oxim.s catalyzed by peroxidase(POD)enzym. using both 4-am.no-5-m.thylam.no-2′,7′-difluorescein fluorescence and *** stim.lated the reaction,while superoxide dism.tase inhibited ***,m.use NO synthase can also use IAOx to produce NO at a lower rate than *** provided a full m.chanism.for POD-dependent NO production from.IAOx consistent with the experim.ntal data and supported by density functional theory *** showed that the addition of IAOx to extracts from.m.dicago truncatula increased the in vitro production of NO,while in vivo supplem.ntation of IAOx and other oxim.s increased the num.er of lateral roots,as shown for NO donors,and a m.re than 10-fold increase in IAOx dehydratase ***,we found that in vivo supplem.ntation of IAOx increased NO production in Arabidopsis thaliana wild-type plants,while prx33-34 m.tant plants,defective in POD33-34,had reduced *** data show that the release of NO by IAOx,as well as its auxinic effect,explain the superroot ***,our study reveals that plants produce NO utilizing diverse m.lecules such as oxim.s,POD,and flavins,which are widely distributed in the plant kingdom.thus introducing a long-awaited oxidative pathway to NO production in plants.T
