Ojective: To evaluate the effectiveness of cytolygy and colposcopy in the follow-up of women treated by laser CO2 vaporization for cervical intraepithelian nelplasia (CIN)Methods: 1,784 patients treated with CO2 laser vaporization from 1998 to, 2003and with more than one post-operative follow-up were eligible for this study. All cytological resuits and colplscopy assessments were analyzed retrospectively. Results:fifty percent had low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(HSIL), and 50 percent had high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(HSIL), with no significant age difference in both groups (mean 27, 6years). The success rate of treatment of HSIL(91.2% )was similar to that of LSIL(91.

＜正＞ Thermoelastic stress analysis is used to obtain the stress concentration factors （SCfs） from a variety of circular holes in cylinders. The cylinders are loaded in uniaxial tension, uniaxial compression and a combination of bending and compression. firstly radial holes are investigated and the results from the thermoelastic data obtained by the SPATE equipment are compared to previous experimental and numerical work. SCfs are then obtained from offset, oblique and offset-oblique holes using the Deltatherm system. The effect of hole obliquity and direction of applied load relative to the hole geometry is discussed.

Objective:This study aimed to compare the historical incidence rate of severe oral mucositis(OM)in head and neck cancer patients undergoing definitive concurrent chemoradiation therapy(CRT)versus a prospective cohort of patients with locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)treated with prophylactic photobiomodulation therapy(PBMT).Methods:This US-based,institutional,single-arm,phaseⅡprospective clinical trial was initiated in 50 patients(age≥18 years,Karnofsky Performance Scale Index>60,with locally advanced HNSCC(excluding oral cavity)receiving definitive or adjuvant radiation therapy(RT)with concurrent platinum-based chemotherapy(CT).PBMT was delivered three times per week throughout RT utilizing both an intraoral as well extraoral delivery *** outcome measure was incidence of severe OM utilizing both the National Cancer Institute Common Toxicity Criteria,version 4.0(NCI-CTCAE)Grade≥3 and the World Health Organization Mucositis Grading Scale(WHO)Grade≥3 versus historical controls;secondary outcome measures included time to onset of severe OM following therapy ***:At baseline,all patients included in final analysis(N=47)had OM Grade *** RT and CT dose was(66.3±5.1)Gy and(486.1±106.8)mg/m ^(2),*** OM was observed in 11 of 47 patients(23%,confidence interval:12,38).OM toxicity grade trended upward during treatment,reaching a maximum at 7 weeks(WHO:1.8 ***-CTCAE:1.7).Subsequently,OM grade returned to baseline 3 months following completion of *** mean time to onset of severe OM was(35±12)*** mean time to resolution of severe OM was(37±37)***:Compared to historical outcomes,PBMT aides in decreasing severe OM in patients with locally advanced *** represents a minimally invasive,prophylactic intervention to decrease OM as a major treatment-related side effect.

When ultrasound is incident at the interface between two rough surfaces some of thewave is reflected. The proportion of the wave reflected is related to the level of conformity betweenthe two surfaces. This principle is under investigation as a method to determine the area of contactand the load distribution, between contact elements in machine components. In this work theHertzian contact between a ball and a flat surface has been scanned ultrasonically. The resultingreflection maps have been related to the local nominal contact pressure within the contact by acalibration procedure. The resolution of the measurement system is of the same order as the con-tact dimensions. To interpret the results both convolution and deconvolution numerical procedureshave been used. The resulting measured contact pressures agree well with theoretical predictedHertz pressure.

本文叙述了这样一种铁路货车转向架,在转向架内采用了一种新的装置,以减少摇枕相对侧架的振动。当转向架沿曲线运动时,摇枕相对侧架倾斜后以恢复到正常的垂直位置。这种装置的主要特点是:1.摇枕和摩擦靴间具有最大的接触面积,在弹簧压力的作用下摩擦靴紧紧靠着摇枕和侧架主柱;2.在上述转向架中采用了具有最大行程和容量的摩擦靴张紧弹簧;3.摩擦靴能迫使摇枕和支持摇枕的侧架之间经常保持垂直关系。这些特点从下面的详细说明和附图中将很明显。图1是中央垂直断面附近侧架的部分正视图,是表示这种装置的详图。
