Biodegradable nanoparticles such as chitosan nanoparticles (cSNPs) are used in sustainable agriculture since theyavoid damage to the environment;cSNPs have positive effects such as the accumulation of bioactive compoundsand increased productivity in plants. This study aimed to investigate the impact of applying cSNPs on lettuce,specifically focusing on enzymatic activity, bioactive compounds, and yield. The trial was conducted using a completelyrandomized design, incorporating cSNPs: 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.8 mg ml−1. The doses of 0.4 mg ml−1improve yields up to 24.6% increases and 0.1 mg ml−1 of cSNPs increases total phenols by 31.2% and antioxidantcapacity by 34.6%. In addition, when low concentrations of cSNPs (0.05 and 0.1 mg l−1) were applied, anincrease in catalase was determined. The cSNPs represent a good alternative to be used as a biostimulant in sustainableagriculture because they improve the yield and quality of lettuce by increasing the bioactive compounds.

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and the learning effect of an isokinetic trunk flexion-extension protocol designed to simultaneously assess trunk muscle strength and *** addition,the effect of the participants’sex on the reliability data was ***:Fifty-seven healthy and physically active young men(n=28)and women(n=29)performed the isokinetic protocol 5 times,separated by a week between each of the first 4 sessions and by a month between the last 2 *** protocol consisted of performing 4 trials of 15 maximum flexion-extension concentric exertions at 120°/s(range of trunk motion=50°).The absolute and relative peak torque and total work were calculated to assess trunk flexion and extension *** addition,endurance ratio,modified endurance ratio,fatigue final ratio,recovery ratio,and modified recovery ratio variables were used for the assessment of trunk muscle endurance in both ***:Regarding the absolute reliability,no relevant changes were found between paired-comparison sessions for most strength and endurance variables,except for total work and relative total work variables in the flexion movement in both *** addition,the typical error of the isokinetic variables was lower than 10%in both males and females,and minimum detectable changes ranged from 7%to 20%,with a tendency to be higher in females and in endurance *** strength variables showed high-to-excellent intraclass correlation coefficients(Iccs;>0.74);however,for the endurance variables only the endurance ratio and the modified endurance ratio obtained moderate-to-high Icc values(0.57cclysis of the variance reported no significant differences between consecutive pairs of sessions for most variables in both ***:Overall,these findings provide clinicians,trainers,and researchers with a 10-min single-session protocol to perform a reliable muscle strength and endurance evaluatio

We have recently proposed a new technique of plasma tailoring by laser-driven hydrodynamic shockwaves generated on both sides of a gas jet[Marquès et al.,*** 28,023103(2021)].In a continuation of this numerical work,we study experimentally the influence of the tailoring on proton acceleration driven by a high-intensity picosecond laser in three cases:without tailoring,by tailoring only the entrance side of the picosecond laser,and by tailoring both sides of the gas *** tailoring,the acceleration is transverse to the laser axis,with a low-energy exponential spectrum,produced by coulomb *** the front side of the gas jet is tailored,a forward acceleration appears,which is significantly enhanced when both the front and back sides of the plasma are *** forward acceleration produces higher-energy protons,with a peaked spectrum,and is in good agreement with the mechanism of collisionless shock acceleration(cSA).The spatiotemporal evolution of the plasma profile is characterized by optical shadowgraphy of a probe *** refraction and absorption of this beam are simulated by post-processing 3D hydrodynamic simulations of the plasma *** with the experimental results allows estimation of the thickness and near-critical density of the plasma slab produced by tailoring both sides of the gas *** parameters are in good agreement with those required for cSA.

In order to examine the possibility to improve its camouflage properties standard cotton fabric with camouflage print was impregnated with poly(vinyl butyral),PVB and fullerene-like nanoparticles of tungsten disulfide,PVB/IF-WS_(2).FTIR analysis excluded any possible chemical interaction of IF-WS_(2) with PVB and the *** camouflage behavior of the impregnated fabric has been examined firstly in the VIS part of the *** reflection,specular gloss and color coordinates were measured for three different shades(black,brown and dark green).Thermal imaging was applied to examine the camouflage abilities of this impregnation in IR part of the *** obtained results show that PVB/IF-WS_(2) impregnation system induced enhacement of the materials camouflage properties,*** IF-WS_(2) have a positive effect on spectrophotometric characteristics of the fabric.

Theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex is widely acknowledged to be attributed to the interaction between the cosmic rays(cRs)accelerated by the shock of supernova remnant(SNR)W51c and the dense molecular clouds in the adjacent star-forming region,***,the maximum acceleration capability of W51c for cRs remains *** on observations conducted with the large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(lHAASO),we report a significant detection ofγrays emanating from the W51 complex,with energies from 2 to 200 *** lHAASO measurements,for the first time,extend theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex beyond 100 TeV and reveal a significant spectrum bending at tens of *** combining the"π^(0)-decay bump"featured data from Fermi-lAT,the broadbandγ-ray spectrum of the W51 region can be well-characterized by a simple pp-collision *** observed spectral bending feature suggests an exponential cutoff at~400 TeV or a power-law break at~200 TeV in the cR proton spectrum,most likely providing the first evidence of SNRs serving as cR accelerators approaching the PeV ***,two young star clusters within W51B could also be theoretically viable to produce the most energeticγrays observed by *** findings strongly support the presence of extreme cR accelerators within the W51 complex and provide new insights into the origin of Galactic cRs.

本研究是一项为期12个月随机、双盲、安慰剂对照的Ⅲ期临床试验,将对熊去氧胆酸反应不足或有不可接受药物不良反应史的原发性胆汁性胆管炎患者按照2:1的比例随机分为试验组(口服10mg·d^(-1)seladelpar)与安慰剂组(口服安慰剂)。主要治疗终点是生化反应,其定义为12个月时碱性磷酸酶水平低于正常范围上限的1.67倍,比基线下降15%或更多,总胆红素水平正常。次要治疗终点是12个月时碱性磷酸酶水平的正常化,以及基线评分至少为4(表示中度至重度瘙痒)的患者从基线到6个月瘙痒数值评定量表评分的变化[范围为0(无瘙痒)到10(可想象的最严重瘙痒)]。
