Effects of ENSO and Climate Change on Reference Evapotranspiration in Southern vietnam

This study aims to evaluate the effects of climate change and El Nino-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)on reference evapotranspiration(ET_(o))in the climate sub-regions of South vietnam(SVN)and the role of the related meteorological *** trend analysis shows that ET_(o) has been increasing quite clearly,especially during the rainy *** examining the contribution of meteorological variables to the increase of ET_(o),it is indicated that temperature is the main *** the meteorological variables that are related to ET_(o),temperature is also the factor that has gained the most significant *** of variance reveals that there is no difference in the increase of ET_(o) among the climate sub-regions of *** effect of ENSO on ET_(o) is assessed based on the difference in the mean value of ET_(o) between the El Nino and La Nina *** results show that this difference is most obvious from October to May,and the main factor contributing to the increase is not temperature but sunshine *** difference in sunshine hours between the warm and cold phases in these months is around one hour per day,contributing about58%-86%to the ET_(o) *** analysis of variance shows that ENSO has different levels of influences on ET_(o) in the climate *** to the increase in ET_(o) due to climate change over the past 40 years,the ET_(o) difference between El Nino and La Nina phases is many times *** addition,since the effect of ENSO on ET_(o) is most obvious in the study area during the dry season,it is much *** order to mitigate the effect of ENSO on drought in this area,monitoring and forecasting meteorological variables that have the main contribution to the variation of ET_(o),including the number of sunshine hours,should be promoted.

This study was aimed to prepare landslide susceptibility maps for the Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand,India,using advanced ensemble models that combined Radial Basis Function Networks(RBFN)with three ensemble learning techniques:DAGGING(DG),MULTIBOOST(MB),and ADABOOST(AB).This combination resulted in three distinct ensemble models:DG-RBFN,MB-RBFN,and ***,a traditional weighted method,Information Value(IV),and a benchmark machine learning(ML)model,Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network(MLP),were employed for comparison and *** models were developed using ten landslide conditioning factors,which included slope,aspect,elevation,curvature,land cover,geomorphology,overburden depth,lithology,distance to rivers and distance to *** factors were instrumental in predicting the output variable,which was the probability of landslide *** analysis of the models’performance indicated that the DG-RBFN model,with an Area Under ROC Curve(AUC)of 0.931,outperformed the other *** AB-RBFN model achieved an AUC of 0.929,the MB-RBFN model had an AUC of 0.913,and the MLP model recorded an AUC of *** results suggest that the advanced ensemble ML model DG-RBFN was more accurate than traditional statistical model,single MLP model,and other ensemble models in preparing trustworthy landslide susceptibility maps,thereby enhancing land use planning and decision-making.

Effects of urbanization on groundwater level in aquifers of Binh Duong Province,vietnam

The purpose of this paper was to assess the impact of urbanization on the groundwater level(GWL)in aquifers of Binh Duong(BD)*** research method is to analyze the trend of GWL,the recharge capacity of surface over time and the relationship between *** data of the GWL used in the study are the average values in the dry and rainy seasons of 35 observation wells from 2011 to 2018,which are in Pleistocene and Pliocene *** ability to recharge groundwater from the surface in this study was represented by the curve number(CN),a parameter used in hydrology for calculating direct runoff or infiltration from *** land use data to identify the CN was analyzed from the Landsat *** results show that besides over-exploitation,the change of surface characteristic due to the urbanization development process is also the cause of the GWL *** analysis of seasonal GWL data shows that the increase in impervious surface area is the cause of GWL decline in the Pleistocene aquifer,which is more evident in the rainy season than in the dry *** statistical results also show that in the rainy season and in shallow aquifers,a higher CN change can be found with the wells that had a remarkable GWL decline compared to the remaining wells.

In this work,we investigate a classical pseudomonotone and Lipschitz continuous variational inequality in the setting of Hilbert space,and present a projection-type approximation method for solving this *** method requires only to compute one projection onto the feasible set per iteration and without any linesearch procedure or additional projections as well as does not need to the prior knowledge of the Lipschitz constant and the sequentially weakly continuity of the variational inequality mapping.A strong convergence is established for the proposed method to a solution of a variational inequality problem under certain mild ***,we give some numerical experiments illustrating the performance of the proposed method for variational inequality problems.

Modeling bending behavior of shape memory alloy wire-reinforced composites: Semi-analytical model and finite element analysis

In this study,we propose a novel and simple exact semi-analytical model for superelastic Shape Memory Alloy(SMA)wire reinforced composites subjected to bending *** order to study the mechanical response of the composite during loading/unloading,a Representative Volume Element(RVE)is extracted to examine the bending response of the *** moment–curvature,and shear force-shear strain relations are derived based on a 3-Dimensional(3 D)thermomechanical SMA model and Timoshenko beam *** composite Simpson’s rule is adopted to numerically solve the exact analytical moment–curvature and shear force-shear strain *** including the moment–curvature response,axial stress distribution along the vertical and longitudinal directions,martensite volume fraction,and the tip deflection are reported and validated against 3 D finite element *** influence of temperature,martensite volume fraction distribution,and matrix stiffness on the mechanical performance of the composite is also *** particular,the composite is found to behave superelastically under certain conditions of temperature,SMA volume fraction,and elastic stiffness of the *** behavior is advantageous in applications requiring large recoverable strains or high energy dissipation density.

This article explores the integration of Eastern and Western perspectives on the use of dexamethasone and N-acetylcysteine as premedications in transarterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).By examining key concerns raised by Western researchers,particularly regarding the different etiologies of liver cirrhosis,and contrasting them with robust clinical data from Asia,this article highlights the necessity for region-specific research and proposes future directions for global HCC management.

On Mixed Multiplicities of Good Filtrations

This paper interprets mixed multiplicities of good filtrations as Hilbert-Samuel multiplicities, and shows that （ε1,..., εm）-superficial sequences in [16] （2007） and superficial sequences in [15] （1973） are weak-（FC）-sequences in [19] （2000）. As consequences, we not only obtain generalized results for mixed multiplicities of ideals in [15, 16, 19] but also get an improvement of [19, Theorem 3.4] that seems to account well for the essence of [16, Theorem 1.4].

Cross-sectional homogenization for full-core calculations of small and complex reactor configurations,such as research reactors,has been recently recognized as an interesting and challenging *** paper presents the development of a PARCS/Serpent model for the neutronics analysis of a research reactor type TRIGA Mark-II loaded with Russian VVR-M2 fuel(known as the Dalat Nuclear Research Reactor or DNRR).The full-scale DNRR model and a supercell model for a shim/safety rod and its surrounding fuel bundles with the Monte Carlo code Serpent 2 were proposed to generate homogenized fewgroup cross sections for full-core diffusion calculations with *** full-scale DNRR model with Serpent 2 was also utilized as a reference to verify the PARCS/Serpent *** of the effective neutron multiplication factors,radial and axial core power distributions,and control rod worths showed a generally good agreement between PARCS and Serpent *** addition,the discrepancies between the PARCS and Serpent 2 results are also ***,the results indicate the applicability of the PARCS/Serpent model for further steady state and transient analyses of the DNRR.
