Ketones and β-diketones were nitrosated and converted to their corresponding aoximinoketones using task-specific ionic liquids, l-（4-nitritobutyl）-3-methylimidazolium chloride, IL-ONO, and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium nitrite at room temperature. The results from two ionic liquids are comparable and showed that these IL＇s are effective nitrosonium sources for the preparation of oximinoketones. The protocol is rapid, the yields are excellent, and the method is simple.

UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel plates were welded to AISI 316 L stainless steel using the pulsed gas tungsten arc welding process with three different filler metals: ER2594, ER312, and ER385. The microstructures of the welds were characterized using optical and scanning electron microscopy, and all of the specimens were evaluated by ferrite measurements. The mechanical properties were studied through hardness,tensile, and impact tests. In addition, the pitting resistance equivalent number was calculated and cyclic polarization tests were performed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the weld metal. The results showed that chromium nitride was formed in the heat-affected zone of the duplex side,whereas no sigma phase was detected in any of the specimens. The ferrite number increased from the root pass to the final pass. The absorbed energies of the impact test decreased with increasing ferrite number, whereas the tensile strength was enhanced. The fully austenitic microstructure of the specimen welded with ER385 exhibited the highest resistance to pitting corrosion at 25°C, and the super-duplex weld metal presented superior corrosion resistance at 50°C.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of p-coumaric acid against adriamycin-induced hepatotoxicity in ***:The rats were divided into 4 *** control group received solvent;the p-coumaric acid group was treated with 100 mg/kg of p-coumaric acid orally for five consecutive days;the adriamycin group was administered with a single dose of adriamycin(15 mg/kg,i.p.),and the p-coumaric acid+adriamycin group was given p-coumaric acid five days before adriamycin ***-four hours after the last administration,blood samples were collected for biochemical analysis,and liver tissues were removed for histopathological and immunohistochemistrical ***,the levels of tissue lipid peroxidation and enzyme activities of glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase,and catalase in liver tissue were ***:Treatment with p-coumaric acid protected the liver from the toxicity of adriamycin by attenuating the increase in alkaline phosphatase,alanine transaminase,aspartate transaminase,total bilirubin,total cholesterol,triglyceride,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and lessening the decrease in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and albumin.p-Coumaric acid also raised the levels of glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase,and catalase,as well as decreased lipid peroxidation in liver tissue and hepatic IL-1β***,histopathological study confirmed the protective effect of p-coumaric acid against liver ***:p-Coumaric acid can alleviate adriamycin-induced hepatotoxicity.

This study aimed to pro-environmentally analyze farmers'concerns and behaviors towards soil *** research was a descriptive,causal,and correlational and conducted through a survey *** study population consisted of all farmers at the central district of Sari county,Iran(N=9621).Based on the Cochran's formula,120 farmers were selected using stratified random *** instrument employed in this study was a questionnaire with its validity being confirmed by a number of academic experts and agriculture specialists and its reliability being proved using Cronbach's alpha coefficients in a pilot study(outside the scope of the current study).(0.66≤α≤0.90).The results of the analysis regarding the effects of independent variables on the variables"soil conservation behavior"and"soil conservation concern"indicated that,among the variables affecting these two variables,the variable"attitude towards soil conservation"was the most powerful predictor of"soil conservation concerns"and the variable"social pressures on soil conservation"predicted farmers'"soil conservation behaviors"***,the independent variables used in this research could predict 42% of the variance in terms of soil conservation concern and 21% of the variance in terms of soil conservation *** findings can be practical and appropriate for executive officials since,instead of making efforts to direct change the behavior,they can first focus on conceptual changes and persuasive changes like changing attitudes towards soil conservation.

The adsorption of hydrogen molecule on the external surface of pure 0120 nanocapsule and endohedrallyH2 @C120 complex has been examined using the density functional theory calculations. Several different bonding configu- rations are considered for the hydrogen molecule approaching the outer surface of the considered nanocages. It has been found that the adsorbed H2 molecule bound weakly to the outer surface of the pure C1~0 nanocapsules in agreement with the recent experimental and theoretical results while, it prefers to be adsorbed rather strongly on the side wall of the endohedrally /-/2@C120 complex. The adsorption of a single layer and bi-layer of two tt2 molecules on the most stable states of the considered H2@C120 complex appears to be feasible, although the molecules of the second layer are weakly bound. Furthermore, it is found that the formation of 100% coverage is favorable thermodynamically, which corresponds to about 20% by weight storage of 1-12 molecules. Thus, surprisingly, we arrive at the prediction that the C120 nanocapsules can be implemented as a novel material for energy storage.

Objective: To evaluate and practically demonstrate the in fluence of Althaea officinalis flower mucilage as a plant known in Iran's and other Middle Eastern countries' traditional medicine for its wound healing ***: Animals were divided into 6 groups of 5 cases including a non-treated group as the negative control group receiving no treatment, a group treated with eucerin as the positive control group, a phenytoin 1% group as a standard group treated topically with phenytoin 1% hand-made ointment, and treatment groups treated with hand-made Althaea officinalis flower mucilage(AFM) ointment in a eucerin base with different concentrations(5%, 10%, 15%).Results: Among the treatment groups, the AFM 15% ointment showed the best *** healing duration was reduced by the surface application of these groups. Wound closure was completed on Days 14 and 15 in the AFM 15% ointment and phenytoin 1%groups, respectively. No significant difference was observed in healing period between these ***: In conclusion, AFM 15% ointment was found to reduce wound healing time without any significant difference with the phenytoin 1% ointment. The authors suggest increased AFM effectiveness in when combined with phenytoin or other effectual plants.

Experimental Study of the Effects of Submerged Dikes on the Energy and Momentum Coefficients in Compound Channel

This paper aims to understand the flow structure around submerged dike in the main channel and flood plain of a compound cross section. The study undertaken to develop this understanding was carried out in a laboratory flume using a submerged vane installed at a 90 degree angle to the bank. In order to study the flow structures, the flow velocity was measured using a three-dimensional Acoustic Doppler Velocity meter (micro-ADV) with data collection rate of 50 Hz. These flow velocity measurements were taken at 500 points on a regular grid. As the tests were undertaken with turbulent flow, these conditions were subcritical. Furthermore, all the tests were undertaken using a fixed bed. The results obtained showed that the momentum transfer and the kinetic energy reduced in two directions. Also the energy and momentum coefficients decreased significantly with the installation of the submerged vane inside the main channel. Finally, streamlines were found to deviate from the side walls of channel into the main channel.
