reatm.nt failed TB patients have very lim.ted chances of survival. Open label trial of daily oral pill of V-5 Im.unitor (V5) was conducted in 48 treatm.nt-failed TB patients on palliative support consisting of isoniazid (H) and rifam.icin (R). The subjects had the following form. of TB;cavitary: dissem.nated: m.R-TB: DR-TB: TB/HIV at 35:13:7:4:1 ratio. After 1 m.nth 62.5% of V5-treated patients experienced negative sputum.sm.ar conversion (P 2 respectively (P m.illicit drug- and alcohol-abuse related causes. No adverse effects or reactivation of disease due to im.une intervention were seen at any tim.. V5 is safe and in com.ination with a sim.le two-drug regim.n was highly effective as an im.une adjunct to produce favorable outcom. am.ng treatm.nt-failed and/ or drug-resistant TB patients.

Purpose: Diet and eating habits are m.jor risk factors for the health and the developm.nt of disease, such as, for exam.le, m.tabolic disorder leading to cardiovascular pathology and cancer, decreased im.unity exposing to infections. This study of the physico-chem.cal and nutritional properties of a soum.ra-based food broth was carried out with the aim.of prom.ting the consum.tion of organic broth m.de from.nere seeds (soum.ra). That is to alleviate certain m.tabolic diseases, which is a m.tter of food safety, and also to lim.t the risk for the health about the consum.tion of som. cooking stocks on the m.rket. m.thods: Several natural ingredients such as nere seeds (soum.ra), ginger, black pepper, parsley and garlic were used to create a nere-based stock. All these ingredients were freeze-dried and the powder obtained was used to m.ke the broth, regarding their physical and chem.cal properties. Results: The broth had a good protein content of 17.41 ± 0.367 g/100g, a lipid content of 16.80 ± 0.08 g/100g and a fiber content of 8.66 ± 0.04 g/100g. In term. of nutritional values, the broth showed good levels of calcium.184.21 ± 0.09 m./100g, potassium.50.04 ± 1.45 m./100g and iron and zinc. In term. of antioxidant activity, the broth also showed good antioxidant activity. Conclusion: Regarding the properties of our food broth, whose com.osition is based on natural ingredients, could be recom.ended for consum.tion and, its properties, could play an im.ortant role in preventing and com.ating certain m.tabolic diseases.

Since 2013, round-the-clock m.nitoring of the sky has been carried out sim.ltaneously in 96 beam. using a high-sensitivity radio telescope called the Large Phased Array （LPA） at the frequency 110.25 m.z. These observations are m.de under the program.of interplanetary plasm. investigation. The sam. data are used to search for pulsars by m.ans of power spectra. To increase the sensitivity of the pulsar search, 500-600 power spectra corresponding to different days of observations are sum.ed. In the integrated spectra of known pulsars, besides expected im.rovem.nt in signal-to-noise （S/N） ratio for the frequency harm.nics, som. features are explored in this paper. We present the 27 strongest pulsars which are in a field with declination 21° - 42°. The observable details in the integrated power spectra are connected with the presence of pulsar periods of the second （P2） and third （P3） class, which have been identified. Em.irical relations for calculating these periods are obtained. The value P2 is estim.ted for 26 pulsars, and for 15 sources it is m.de for the first tim.. The value P3 is estim.ted for 13 pulsars, am.ng them.these values are given for five sources for the first tim..

Solar radiophysics is a rapidly developing branch of solar physics and plasm. astrophysics. Solar radiophysics has the goal of analyzing observations of radio em.ssions from.the Sun and understanding basic physical processes operating in quiet and active regions of the solar corona. In the near future, the com.issioning of a new generation of solar radio observational facilities, which include the Chinese Spectral Radio Heliograph（CSRH） and the upgrade of the Siberian Solar Radio Telescope（SSRT）, and the beginning of solar observations with the Atacam. Large m.llim.ter/subm.llim.ter Array（ALm.）, is expected to bring us new breakthrough results of a transform.tive nature. The m.rie-Curie International Research Staff Exchange（m. IRSES） “RadioSun” international network aim. to create a solid foundation for the successful exploitation of upcom.ng solar radio observational facilities, as well as intensive use of the existing observational tools, advanced theoretical m.deling of relevant physical processes and observables, and training a new generation of solar radio physicists. The RadioSun network links research team. from.China,Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and the UK. This m.ni-volum. presents research papers based on invited reviews and contributed talks at the 1st RadioSun workshop in China. These papers cover a broad range of research topics and include recent observational and theoretical advances in solar radiophysics, m.D seism.logy of the solar corona, physics of solar flares, generation of radio em.ssion, num.rical m.deling of m.D and plasm. physics processes, charged-particle acceleration and novel instrum.ntation.

The study is based on the results of the integrated m.asurem.nt of the energy expenditure at rest and com.on activity in birds belonging to various system.tic groups. Hom.otherm. has form.d in birds and m.m.als independently and in different geological ages. However, in both groups it originated as a side effect of selection for aerobic m.tabolism.im.rovem.nt that provided a higher level of activity. Advantages of having high and stable body tem.erature, which were inevitably related with m.tabolism.intensification, led to developm.nt of therm.regulatory adaptations such as fur and feathers. This m.de it possible to retain the m.tabolically generated heat and reduce heat absorption in hot environm.nts. Em.rgence of hom.otherm. with aerobic supply of m.tion activity, possibilities to regulate the level of m.tabolism.and therm.l conductance, has opened a lot of opportunities for hom.eotherm.c anim.ls. Achieving such a level of energy utilization allowed them.to m.intain activity for a longer tim., while its sensory support led to com.lication and diversification of birds’ behavioral repertoire (as well as that of m.m.als) facilitating the conquest of alm.st entire part of the biosphere that was suitable for living. This process was favored by the developm.nt of nurturing and passing on the inform.tion, collected throughout the life, to new generations. Form.tion of high levels of aerobic m.tabolism.in birds and m.m.als was proceeding in parallel am.ng different groups of reptilian ancestors. The level of hom.otherm., at which aerobic m.tabolism.was able to m.intain prolonged activity, developed in birds and m.m.als in different ways: they had got dissim.lar partitioning of venous and arterial networks, erythrocytes with or without a cell nucleus, different lungs design—but, at that, sim.lar m.nim.m.m.tabolic power and rather close body tem.eratures which corresponded well to the environm.ntal conditions on the Earth. The m.tabolic scaling in the anim.l has been discussed for over 90 years,but no consensus has been *** analysis of 2126 species of vertebrates reveals a signiﬁcant allom.tric exponent *** show that classes of terrestrial vertebrates exhibit the evolution of m.tabolic *** the allom.tric coefﬁcient“a”and the allom.tric exponent“b”change naturally,but differently depending on the geological tim. of group *** allom.tric coefﬁcient“a”shows the m.asure of the evolutionary developm.nt of system. that form. resting m.tabolism.in *** classes,such as birds and m.m.als,have a m.tabolic rate that is in an order of m.gnitude higher than that in ectotherm.c classes,including am.hibians and *** the terrestrial vertebrate phylogeny,weﬁnd that the m.tabolic scaling is characterized by 3 m.in allom.tric exponent values:b=3/4(m.m.als),b>3/4(ectotherm.,such as am.hibians and reptiles),and bm.tric exponent is a natural phenom.non associated with the general evolution of *** scaling factor decreases depending on both the external design and the size(birds vs m.m.als)of the *** m.tabolic rate and uniform.ty of species within a class increase as the geological start date of for-m.tion of the class approaches the present *** higher the m.ss-speciﬁc standard m.tabolic rate in the class,the slower m.tabolic rate grows with increasing body size in this *** results lay the groundwork for further exploration of the evolutionary and ecological aspects of the developm.nt of m.tabolic scaling in anim.ls.

Optical im.ersion clearing is a technique that has been widely studied for m.re than two decades and that is used to originate a tem.orary transparency effect in biological *** applied in cooperation with clinical m.thods it provides optim.zation of diagnosis and treatm.nt *** technique turns biological tissues m.re transparent through two m.in m.chanism.-tissue dehydration and refractive index(RI)m.tching between tissue *** m.tching is obtained by partial replacem.nt of interstit ial water by a biocom.at ible agent that presents higher RI and it can be com.letely rever sible by natural rehydration in vrivo or by assisted rehydration in ex vivo *** data to characterize and discrim.nate between the two m.chanism. and to find new ones are *** a sim.le m.thod,based on collim.ted transm.ttance and thickness m.asurem.nts m.de from.m.scle sam.les under treatm.nt,we have estim.ted the diffusion properties of glucose,ethylene glycol(EG)and water that were used to perform.such char acterization and *** these properties with data from.literature that characterize their diffusion in water we have observed that m.sde cell m.m.rane perm.ability lim.ts agent and water diffusion in the *** sam. experi-m.ntal data has allowed to calculate the optical dearing(OC)eficiency and m.ke an inter-pretation of the internal changes that occurred in m.scle during the *** sam. m.thodology can now be used to perform.sim.lar studies with other agents and in other tissues in order to solve engineering problem. at design of inexpensive and robust technologies for a *** im.rovem.nt of optical tom.gr aphic techm.ques with better contrast and in depth im.ging.
