The study treats a specific technological approach for the elaboration of small manufacturing series of highly precise hyperboloid gears with small module of the teeth and with not big dimensions of the gear mechanism. It is based on the application of the elaborated by authors mathematical models, algorithms and computer programs for synthesis upon a pitch contact point and upon a mesh region. A special feature of the established approach is the application of 3d software prototyping and 3d printing of the designed transmissions. The presented here models of the transmissions with crossed axes and face mated gears are indented for implementation into the driving of two type robots: bio-robot hand and walking robot with four insect-type legs.

Three-dimensional(3d)covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are crystalline porous polymers with potential in numerous high-tech applications,but the linkages involved in their synthesis are still rather ***,we report novel 3d sp^(2) carbon-linked COFs fabricated by the formation reaction of C=C bonds and their application in fluorescence *** new COFs,namely JUC-580 and JUC-581,show high stability and excellent light-emitting properties in solid state and dispersed in various ***,we investigate the potential application of JUC-581 as a drug carrier combined with fluorescence *** results indicate that 3d sp^(2) carbon-linked COFs are not only potential drug-loaded and sustained release materials but also promising cell fluorescent *** study thus expands the structural categories of 3d COFs based on different linkages,and promotes their prospective applications for biomedicine and fluorescent materials.

Surface channel waveguides(WGs) were fabricated in a monoclinic Tm^(3+):KLu(WO_4)_2 crystal by femtosecond direct laser writing(fs-dLW). The WGs consisted of a half-ring cladding with diameters of 50 and 60 μm located just beneath the crystal surface. They were characterized by confocal laser microscopy and μ-Raman spectroscopy,indicating a reduced crystallinity and stress-induced birefringence of the WG cladding. In continuous-wave(CW)mode, under Ti:sapphire laser pumping at 802 nm, the maximum output power reached 171.1 mW at 1847.4 nm,corresponding to a slope efficiency η of 37.8% for the 60 μm diameter WG. The WG propagation loss was0.7 0.3 d B∕cm. The top surface of the WGs was spin-coated by a polymethyl methacrylate film containing randomly oriented(spaghetti-like) arc-discharge single-walled carbon nanotubes serving as a saturable absorber based on evanescent field coupling. Stable passively Q-switched(PQS) operation was achieved. The PQS60 μm diameter WG laser generated a record output power of 150 m W at 1846.8 nm with η = 34.6%. The conversion efficiency with respect to the CW mode was 87.6%. The best pulse characteristics(energy/duration)were 105.6 nJ/98 ns at a repetition rate of 1.42 MHz.

Arteriovenous fistulas(AVFs)are a vital form of AV access for patients requiring hemodialysis,but they link to overall morbidity and mortality when they fail to *** most common cause of AVF non-maturation is neointimal hyperplasia(NIH).To minimize the deleterious effects of NIH,a perivascular wrap composed of polycaprolactone(PCL),rosuvastatin(ROSU),and gold nanoparticles(AUNPs)was *** study assessed the impact of ROSU-eluting,radiopaque resorbable perivascular wraps on pathologic NIH in a chronic kidney disease(CKd)rodent model of *** PCL wraps containing AuNPs and/or ROSU were monitored for in vitro tensile strength,AuNP release,ROSU elution,and effect on cellular *** wraps were then implanted around an AVF in a CKd rodent model for in vivo ultrasound(US)and micro-computed tomography(mCT)*** specimens were collected for histological *** viability was preserved in the presence of both AuNP-and ROSU-containing *** vitro release of ROSU and AuNPs correlated with in vivo findings of decreasing radiopacity on mCT over ***-loaded wraps had higher radiopacity(1270.0-1412.0 HU at week 2)compared with other wraps(103.5-456.0 HU),which decreased over *** addition of ROSU decreased US and histologic measurements of *** reduced NIH seen with ROSU-loaded perivascular wraps suggests a synergistic effect between mechanical support and anti-hyperplasia ***,AuNP loading increased wrap ***,our results show that AuNP-and ROSU-loaded PCL wraps induce AVF maturation and suppress NIH while facilitating optimal implanted device visualization.

BACKGROUNd Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura(TTP)is a thrombotic microangiopathy characterized by the pentad of hemolytic anemia,fever,thrombocytopenia,renal failure,and neurological *** formation of microthrombi in the arterioles and capillaries of various organs is one of the main pathophysiological *** manifestations of cardiac involvement in TTP patients are *** myocardial infarction has been reported as a complication with TTP as the secondary thrombotic *** emergence as the initial thrombotic event is extremely *** SUMMARY A 49-year-old previously healthy man was admitted for fever,typical angina chest pain 3 d prior to presentation,and newly onset left lower limb *** electrocardiogram illustrated ST-elevation acute myocardial infarction of the anterolateral wall of the left *** echocardiography depicted two large thrombi at the apex of the left ventricle and moderately reduced ejection fraction(40%).Venous doppler ultrasound showed occlusion of the left popliteal *** tests showed severe thrombocytopenia,mild hemolytic anemia,elevated d-dimers,and high troponin and creatine *** computed tomography revealed other thrombotic sites(superior mesenteric artery,posterior aortic wall,spleen and renal infarction,and ileum necrosis).He was immediately started on steroids and addressed to surgery for acute abdominal *** an initial stabilization of the hematological deficit,he went into general surgery for resection of the necrotic ileum but died soon after the intervention due to multiple organ *** Cardiac involvement in TTP patients is common,challenging and more often fatal,especially when other thrombotic complications coexist.

Having studied regularities of structure transformations of cement stone in the process of its hardening as a result of the influence of composition and properties of cements themselves as well as the influence of conditions of application viz. temperature and moisture conditions of the hardening medium,value of w/c factor,presence of water-soluble admixtures of different purposes and so on,we have theoretically developed,experimentally verified and realized in practice some postulates supporting primary importance of distribution of hydrates in the cement stone *** have also developed some methods of operation and control of these processes.

研究了三种掺Yb钒酸盐混晶Yb0.005:Y0.298Gd0.697VO4,Yb0.007:Y0.407Gd0.586VO4和Yb0.009:Y0.575Gd0.416VO4的室温偏振吸收谱和发射谱.结果表明,最强的吸收和发射相应于π偏振,位于波长985nm;随组分不同,最大吸收截面σabs=4.8—8.5×10-20cm2,吸收带宽9.5—9.9nm;最大受激发射截面σem=5.8—10.3×10-20cm2.利用高亮度半导体激光器纵向抽运实现了室温下的连续波激光运转.研究发现,不同混晶的激光振荡行为存在很大差异:在谐振腔输出耦合透过率T=2%条件下,Yb0.005:Y0.298Gd0.697VO4和Yb0.009:Y0.575Gd0.416VO4的激光振荡随抽运功率降低而出现σ,π偏振态的共存和转变;而Yb0.007:Y0.407Gd0.586VO4的激光振荡则保持π偏振态不变.在T=5%情形,Yb0.009:Y0.575Gd0.416VO4的激光振荡为单纯的σ偏振;而Yb0.005:Y0.298Gd0.697VO4所产生的激光振荡随抽运功率下降仍出现类似的偏振态变化行为.

对组分梯度功能范围的调整要求已提出,通常通过不同材料组合得以解决。但是这种生产方式一方面需要一系列的工序,另一方面也需要具体的知识,包括所用材料的独特物理及机械特性,尤其是它们的形变及热行为。因此,为了降低能耗,考虑到生态需求,一个组分的现代工业设计程序只应包括一种操作程序和一种具有优化性能的范围大的材料。同时对同质的工件初样进行热处理及机械处理保证了控制材料能够具有最终元件性能的梯度功能。第一步,研究不同热处理对CrV-合金热处理矩形条钢(51CrV4)微观结构演化的影响。生产出只具有铁素体-珠光体、铁素体-珠光体-贝氏体和马氏体结构的条钢。与振动的振幅衰减相关的时间由声学照相机测定。这种声学照相机可以产生彩码声音图谱,显示覆盖于已记录样品图像上噪音的强度和来源。基于作为常规信号处理方法的波束形成概念,该声音分析用来控制换能器阵列上信号的接收或传播方向。条钢的独特微观结构状况造成了振动特性的显著变化。
