Fema.es of the ectopa.a.itoid Ha.robra.on hebetor a.ta.k a.d envenoma.e numerous host individua.s during oviposition. The vectoring of the entomopa.hogenic fungus Bea.veria.ba.sia.a.during the a.hesion sta.e by ectopa.a.itoid fema.es a.ong the wa. moth la.va. Ga.leria.mellonella.wa. explored under la.ora.ory conditions. Vectoring occurred both from infected pa.a.itoids to wa. moth la.va. a.d from infected to hea.thy wa. moth la.va. by pa.a.itoids. The effica.y of vectoring in both ca.es wa. dose dependent. Pa.a.itoid fema.es were una.le to recognize infected la.va. in a.la.yrinth test. In a.dition, the presence of H. hebetor fema.es significa.tly （1.5-13 fold） increa.ed the mycoses level in clusters of G. mellonella. with 40% of the la.va. infected with ftmga. conidia. Envenoma.ion by H. hebetor increa.ed conidia.germina.ion on the cuticles of the wa. moth la.va. by 4.4 fold. a. enha.ced germina.ion ra.e （2 fold） wa. registered in the n- hexa.e epicuticula. extra.t of envenoma.ed la.va. compa.ed to tha. of hea.thy la.va.. Both envenoma.ion a.d mycoses enha.ced the phenoloxida.e （PO） a.tivity in the integument of G. mellonella.a.d, in contra.t, decrea.ed the enca.sula.ion ra.e in hemolymphs. We hypothesize tha. cha.ges in the integument property a.d inhibition of cellula. immunity provide the highest infection effica.y of entomopa.hogenic fungi with H. hebetor.

This study exa.ines how the dyna.ics of fungus-insect intera.tions ca. be modula.ed by tempera.ure. The wa. moth, Ga.leria.mellonella. is a.well-studied a.d importa.t model insect whose la.va. in the wild develop optima.ly a. a.ound 34 ℃ in beehives. However, surprisingly little resea.ch on wa. moths ha. been conducted a. releva.t tempera.ures. In this study, the entomopa.hogenic fungus Meta.hizium robertsii inflicted ra.id a.d substa.tia. morta.ity on wa. moth la.va. ma.nta.ned a. a.consta.t tempera.ure of 24 ℃, but a. 34 ℃ a.10 fold higher dose wa. required to a.hieve a. equiva.ent morta.ity. The cooler tempera.ure fa.ored funga. pa.hogenicity, with condia. a.hesion to the cuticle, germina.ion a.d hemocoel inva.ion a.l significa.tly enha.ced a. 24 ℃, compa.ed with 34 ℃. The wa. moth la.va. immune responses a.tered with the tempera.ure, a.d with the infective dose of the fungus. Enzyme-ba.ed immune defenses （lysozyme a.d phenoloxida.e） exhibited enha.ced a.tivity a. the wa.mer tempera.ure. a.dra.a.ic upregula.ion in the ba.a. expression of ga.iomicin a.d ga.lerimycin wa. triggered by cooling, a.d this wa. a.gmented in the presence of the fungus. Profiling of the predomina.t insect epicuticula. fa.ty a.ids revea.ed a.4-7 fold increa.e in pa.metic, oleic a.d linoleic a.ids in la.va. ma.nta.ned a. 24 ℃ compa.ed with those a. 34 ℃, but these fa.led to exert fungista.ic effects on topica.ly a.plied fungus. This study demonstra.es the importa.ce of choosing environmenta. conditions releva.t to the ha.ita. of the insect host when determining the dyna.ics a.d outcome of insect/fungus intera.tions, a.d ha. pa.ticula. significa.ce for the a.plica.ion of entomopa.hogens a. biocontrol a.ents.

The list of objects in our experiments wa. represented by mitochondria. chloropla.ts a.d va.uoles. During this study, identifica.ion of lipid microinclusions ha.ing the form of such lipid-protein structura. microforma.ions a. lipid-protein microdoma.ns, vesicles a.d membra.e tubula. structures (cytopla.mic tra.sva.uola. stra.ds a.d na.otubes) loca.ed in orga.elle membra.es or bound up with them wa. conducted. Such membra.e probes a. la.rda., DPH, a.S a.d bis-a.S were used. Compa.ison of fluorescence intensity of these membra.e probes wa. conducted. This investiga.ion of the morphologica. properties of lipid-protein structura. microforma.ions wa. a.compa.ied with a.a.ysis of 1) the pha.e sta.e a.d 2) dyna.ics of microviscosity va.ia.ions in the membra.e elements of isola.ed pla.t cell orga.elles. Distributions of la.rda. fluorescence genera.ized pola.iza.ion (GP) va.ues for the membra.e on the whole a.d for the intensively fluorescing membra.e segments were obta.ned. It wa. discovered tha. the microviscosity of intensively fluorescing membra.e segments essentia.ly differed from the microviscosity of the rest pa.t of the membra.e. In conclusion, some results of the study of peculia. properties of lipid-protein structura. microforma.ions rela.ed to the structure of orga.elle membra.es a.d the discoveries ma.e in this investiga.ion a.e discussed.
