In this study,the spa.iotempora. va.ia.ility of trends in extreme precipita.ion events in Ho Chi Minh City during the period 1980–2017 wa. a.a.yzed ba.ed on severa. core extreme precipita.ion indices(Rx1 da.,Rx5 da.,CDD,CWD,R20 mm,R25 mm,R95 p,a.d SDII).The nonpa.a.etric Ma.n–Kenda.l a.d Sen’s slope methods were used to compute the sta.istica. strength,sta.ility,a.d ma.nitude of trends in a.nua. ra.nfa.l,a. well a. the extreme precipita.ion *** found tha. 64%of the sta.ions ha. sta.istica.ly significa.t upwa.d trends in yea.ly ra.nfa.l,with high ma.nitudes frequently observed in the northern a.d southern regions of the *** the extreme precipita.ion indices,only SDII a.d R25 mm showed domina.tly significa.t ***,there were increa.ing trends in the frequency a.d dura.ion a. the southern a.d centra. regions of the city during the study ***,El Ni?o-Southern Oscilla.ion a.d Pa.ific Deca.a. Oscilla.ion positively correla.ed with the dura.ion a.d nega.ively correla.ed with the intensity a.d frequency of extreme ***,wa.er ma.a.ement pla.s should be a.justed a.propria.ely to reduce the severe impa.ts of precipita.ion extremes on communities a.d ecosystems.

a.M: To investiga.e the mecha.istic a.tion of brewers' rice in regula.ing the Wnt/nuclea. fa.tor-ka.pa.B(NF-κB)/Nrf2-signa.ing pa.hwa.s during colon ca.cinogenesis in ma.e Spra.ue-Da.ley ***: Ma.e Spra.ue-Da.ley ra.s were ra.domly divided into the following five groups(six ra.s in ea.h group):(G1) norma.,(G2) a.oxymetha.e(a.M) a.one,(G3) a.M + 10%(weight(w)/weight(w)) brewers' rice,(G4) a.M + 20%(w/w) brewers' rice, a.d(G5) a.M + 40%(w/w) brewers' rice. They were intra.eritonea.ly a.ministered 15 mg/kg body weight of a.M in sa.ine once weekly over a.twoweek period a.d trea.ed with a. a.erica. Institute of Nutrition(a.N)-93 G diet conta.ning 10%, 20%, a.d 40%(w/w) brewers' rice. The m RNa.levels of glycogen syntha.e kina.e 3β(GSK 3β), β-ca.enin, key infla.ma.ion ma.kers, nuclea. fa.tor E2-rela.ed fa.tor 2(Nrf2), a.d heme oxygena.e-1(HO-1)-dependent tra.scriptiona. a.tivity were a.sessed by qua.tita.ive rea.-time polymera.e cha.n rea.tion a.a.yses. The colon superoxide dismuta.e, ma.ondia.dehyde, a.d nitric oxide levels were a.so a.a.yzed to a.sess the a.tioxida.t effect of these trea.ments. The results were a.a.yzed using one-wa. a.a.ysis of va.ia.ce(a.Ova., a.d a.P va.ue of a. considered ***: The overa.l a.a.yses demonstra.ed tha. the dieta.y a.ministra.ion of brewers' rice in a.M-induced ra. colon ca.cinogenesis resulted in the tra.scriptiona. upregula.ion of GSK 3β, inducible nitric oxide syntha.e(i NOS), Nrf2, a.d HO-1. We discovered tha. the dieta.y a.ministra.ion of brewers' rice downregula.ed the β-ca.enin a.d NF-κB m RNa.levels. a.significa.t reduction in β-ca.enin expression wa. found in the groups a.ministered with 20%(0.611 ± 0.034) a.d 40%(0.436 ± 0.045)(w/w) brewers' rice compa.ed with tha. of the group trea.ed with a.M a.one(1.000 ± 0.064)(P a. significa.tly lower between the a.M-a.one group(1.000 ± 0.048) a.d those groups fed with diets conta.ning 10%(w/w) brewers' rice(0.255 ± 0.022), 20%

Onions a.e a.horticultura. crop of grea. economic, dieta.y a.d medicina. importa.ce, a.d a.e highly prized by the Ivoria. popula.ion. However, production rema.ns low, due to a.number of constra.nts, including pa.a.itic a.ta.ks. The most frequent is fusa.iosis ca.sed by Fusa.ium sp., a.pa.hogen tha. ca.ses enormous da.a.e to onion crops. Fa.ed with these a.ta.ks, chemica. control a.pea.s to be ineffective, with consequences for huma. hea.th a.d the environment. This is why the sea.ch for effective a.terna.ive methods tha. respect the environment a.d huma. hea.th is so necessa.y. It is in this context tha. this study wa. ca.ried out, with the genera. a.m of controlling fusa.ium wilt in onion crops, with a.view to improving onion production in Ivory Coa.t through the use of effective microorga.isms. The experimenta. set-up used for this purpose wa. a.fisher block with complete ra.domiza.ion, comprising three replica.es. a.funga. spore concentra.ion of 106 spore/mL of Fusa.ium sp., three doses (1%;2.5% a.d 5% v/v) of EM a.d one dose of a.chemica. fungicide (30 mL/16L) were tested on young onion pla.ts. Ea.h block consisted of nine sub-plots with nine trea.ments. Hea.th pa.a.eters (incidence a.d severity) a.d a.ronomic pa.a.eters (growth a.d yield) were a.sessed. Microbiologica. a.a.ysis of the EM revea.ed the presence of nine morphotypes of Trichoderma.sp., a.pergillus cla.a.us, a.pergillus fla.us, a.pergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Rhizopus sp., la.tic a.id ba.teria.of the Ba.illus fa.ily a.d the yea.t Sa.cha.omyces cerevisia.. Field experimenta.ion showed tha. the 5% EM microbia. solution reduced the incidence a.d severity of fusa.iosis compa.ed with the chemica. fungicide, a.d proved to be the best. This dose reduced yield losses by 7.14%, while improving onion growth a.d yield by over 5%. The results demonstra.ed the a.ility of the EM solution to effectively control the ca.sa. a.ent of ba.a. rot in onion crops.
