BACKGROUND Fibroadenoma(FA)is the most common tumor found in young women,although it can occur in any age *** carcinoma in situ(DCIS)that is confined in a FA is rare;it is most frequently reported as an incidental *** SUMMARY We report a case of DCIS within a FA in a 46-year-old female without cancerrelated personal and family *** patient was diagnosed with a breast conglomerate of nodules and was followed for 1 *** the current control image study,we found suspicious microcalcification,as a new finding,within one of the ***,a core biopsy of the tumor,which appeared hypoechoic,oval,and circumscribed,was *** pathological diagnosis was ductal carcinoma in situ within a fibroepithelial *** patient underwent breastconserving surgery and received radiotherapy as well as endocrine therapy(tamoxifen).CONCLUSION We recommend a multidisciplinary approach for adequate treatment and followup.

A novel rheumatoid arthritis(ra)synovial fluid protein,Syntenin-1,and its receptor,Syndecan-1(SDC-1),are colocalized on ra synovial tissue endothelial cells and fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS).Syntenin-1 exacerbates the inflammatory landscape of endothelial cells and ra FLS by upregulating transcription of IRF1/5/7/9,IL-1β,IL-6,and CCL2 through SDC-1 ligation and HIF1α,or mTOR ***,Syntenin-1 orchestrates ra FLS and endothelial cell invasion via SDC-1 and/or mTOR *** Syntenin-1 reprogrammed endothelial cells,the dynamic expression of metabolic intermediates coincides with escalated glycolysis along with unchanged oxidative factors,AMPK,PGC-1α,citrate,and inactive oxidative ***,ra FLS rewired by Syntenin-1 displayed a modest glycolytic-ATP accompanied by a robust mitochondrial-ATP *** enriched mitochondrial-ATP detected in Syntenin-1 reprogrammed ra FLS was coupled with mitochondrial fusion and fission recapitulated by escalated Mitofusin-2 and DRP1 *** found that vEGFR1/2 and Notch1 networks are responsible for the crosstalk between Syntenin-1 rewired endothelial cells and ra FLS,which are also represented in ra *** to ra explants,morphological and transcriptome studies authenticated the importance of vEGFR1/2,Notch1,raPTOR,and HIF1αpathways in Syntenin-1 arthritic mice and their obstruction in SDC-1 deficient ***,dysregulation of SDC-1,mTOR,and HIF1αnegated Syntenin-1 inflammatory phenotype in ra explants,while inhibition of HIF1αimpaired synovial angiogenic imprint amplified by *** conclusion,since the current therapies are ineffective on Syntenin-1 and SDC-1 expression in ra synovial tissue and blood,targeting this pathway and its interconnected metabolic intermediates may provide a novel therapeutic strategy.

The Monte Desert is characterized by a great diversity of landforms created with fluvial， alluvial which the vegetation patterns are related to. The present work has the following objectives: 1: determine whether topographical attributes， surface characteristics， soil properties and vegetation patterns vary between alluvial landforms， and 2: define whether morphometric， soil and surface properties influence vegetation patterns along alluvial landscape. Morphometric data were obtained by processing a 5 m digital elevation model. The cov.rage of rock fragments， fine sediments and mulch was quantified. Observations and descriptions of the soil profiles were restricted to the uppermost 50 cm. vegetation properties were calculated using a Point Quadrat Method. The relationship between variables was evaluated through multivariate statistical analysis. The main results show the presence of 45 plant species distributed in 19 families， where shrubs are dominant. The wind effect， topographic wetness and dissection of the landscape are limiting factors of diversity. The cov.rage of superficial rock fragments influence vegetation cov.rage through the distribution and availability of rainwater. Furthermore， the different soil textures reveal that the silt content favors an increase in vegetation cov.rage. The presence of v horizon could condition the installation and development of vegetation in the early stages of growth.

The hepatitis E virus(HEv),a member of the Hepeviridae family,is a small,non-enveloped icosahedral virus divided into eight distinct genotypes(HEv-1 to HEv-8).Only genotypes 1 to 4 are known to cause diseases in *** 1 and 2 commonly spread via fecal-oral transmission,often through the consum-ption of contaminated *** 3 and 4 are known to infect pigs,deer,and wild boars,often transferring to humans through inadequately cooked *** hepatitis caused by HEv in healthy individuals is mostly asymptomatic or associated with minor symptoms,such as ***,in immunosup-pressed individuals,the disease can progress to chronic hepatitis and even escalate to *** pregnant women,an HEv infection can cause fulminant liver failure,with a potential mortality rate of 25%.Mortality rates also rise amongst cirrhotic patients when they contract an acute HEv infection,which can even trigger acute-on-chronic liver failure if layered onto pre-existing chronic liver *** the prevalence of HEv infection continues to rise worldwide,highlighting the particular risks associated with severe HEv infection is of major medical *** text offers a brief summary of the characteristics of hepatitis developed by patient groups at an elevated risk of severe HEv infection.

A mathematical model describing the risks of road accidents has been built on the basis of statistical data of drivers’ accident rate. It has been revealed that drivers can be divided by the degree of their accident proneness into four categories with sharply differing probabilities of road accidents. It has been shown that there is a possibility of classification of drivers in accordance with specified categories.

A series of MgO-based adsorbents were prepared through solution–combustion synthesis and ball-milling *** prepared MgO-based powders were characterized using X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,N_2 physisorption measurements,and employed as potential adsorbents for CO_2 *** influence of structural and textural properties of these adsorbents over the CO_2 adsorption behaviour was also *** results showed that MgO-based products prepared by solution–combustion and ball-milling processes,were highly porous,fluffy,nanocrystalline structures in nature,which are unique physico-chemical properties that significantly contribute to enhance their CO_2 *** was found that the MgO synthesized by solution combustion process,using a molar ratio of urea to magnesium nitrate（2：1）,and treated by ball-milling during 2.5 hr（MgO-BM2.5h）,exhibited the maximum CO_2 adsorption capacity of 1.611 mmol/g at 25℃ and 1 atm,mainly via *** CO_2 adsorption behaviour on the MgO-based adsorbents was correlated to their improved specific surface area,total pore volume,pore size distribution and *** reusability of synthesized MgO-BM2.5h was confirmed by five consecutive CO_2adsorption–desorption times,without any significant loss of performance,that supports the potential of MgO-based *** results confirmed that the special features of MgO prepared by solution–combustion and treated by ball-milling during 2.5 hr are fav.rable to be used as effective MgO-based adsorbent in post-combustion CO_2 capture technologies.

Measurements of gaseous elemental mercury（Hg^0） in the marine boundary layer of the western Bering Sea were performed using an automatic mercury analyzer ra 915 ＋（Ltd. ＂Lumex＂, St. Petersburg, Russia） aboard the Russian research vessel Academician *** from 3 to 20 August 2013. Hg^0 concentrations varied from 0.3 to 2.1 ng/m^3（n = 4783）;the av.rage value（1.1 ± 0.3 ng/m^3） was lower than both the background range of the Northern Hemisphere（1.5–1.7 ng/m^3） and av.rage values previously observed in the Bering Sea, and corresponded to the background concentrations of the Southern Hemisphere（1.1–1.3 ng/m^3）.Maximum Hg^0 concentrations were observed within air masses that came from the lower troposphere of the central Arctic. Under these conditions, Hg^0 ranged between 1.1 and 2.1 ng/m^3 with an av.rage of 1.5 ± 0.2 ng/m^3（n = 1183）. Except for these periods, Hg^0 concentrations during the rest of the study varied from 0.3 to 1.8 ng/m^3, with an av.rage value of 1.0 ± 0.2 ng/m^3（n = 3600）. Our results support the hypothesis that, in the summer, air masses from the central Arctic Ocean can be an exporter of mercury to lower latitudes. Perhaps the atmospheric transport of elevated concentrations of Hg^0 into lower latitudes may have implications for the biologic and economic health of important fisheries, such as the Bering Sea.
