Objective:To determ.ne the relationship between the early em.ryo viability assessm.nt(EEvA)and blastocyst m.rphological param.ters and pregnancy ***:This retrospective cohort study was conducted on 291 intracytoplasm.c sperm.injection cycles including 2522 em.ryos with indications of prolonging em.ryo culture to the blastocyst stage in the Genea em.ryo review incubator,and 511 single vitrified-warm.d blastocyst transfer cycles from.January 2020 to June *** EEvA system.produced an EEvA score from.E1(best)to E5(worse)for the potential of blastocyst *** m.rphology was *** association between the EEvA score and each type of blastocyst m.rphology,im.lantation rate,clinical pregnancy,and ongoing pregnancy were assessed using generalized estim.ting ***:The inner cell m.ss A(ICm.a.,trophectoderm.a.TE A),blastocoele expansion degree of 3,4,5,6,7 rates were higher with lower the EEvA *** adjusted odd ratio(aOR)(E5 vs E1)was 0.3 for ICm.a.0.174 for TE A and 0.210 for BL3,4,5,6,7(all Pween lower EEvA scores and im.roved em.ryo *** im.lantation,clinical pregnancy,and ongoing pregnancy rate were also higher with lower the EEvA *** aOR of E5 vs E1 was 0.245 for im.lantation,0.185 for clinical pregnancy and 0.200 for ongoing pregnancy rate(Pwere associations between blastocyst m.rphology,pregnancy outcom. and EEvA *** good blastocyst m.rphology and pregnancy outcom.s are higher with lower the EEvA score.

Background Extracellular vesicles(Evs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine em.ryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and m.dulating lipid m.tabolism.related genes(Lm.s), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvem.nt on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and m.tabo-lism.is crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt and can determ.ne the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive m.lecules within Evs in m.ternal reproductive fluids, such as m.cro RNAs(m.RNAs), m.y contribute to this regulatory process as they m.dulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated m.RNA cargo in OF-Evs from.the early luteal phase and UF-Evs from.the m.d-luteal phase, coinciding with em.ryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on Lm.s and sign-aling pathways crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt. A total of 333 m.RNAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were com.on between both groups. From.the 20 differentially expressed m.RNAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-Evs(bta-m.R-134, bta-m.R-151-3p, bta-m.R-155, bta-m.R-188, bta-m.R-181b, bta-m.R-181d, bta-m.R-224, bta-m.R-23b-3p, bta-m.R-24-3p, bta-m.R-27a-3p, bta-m.R-29a, bta-m.R-324, bta-m.R-326, bta-m.R-345-3p, bta-m.R-410, bta-m.R-652, bta-m.R-677, bta-m.R-873 and bta-m.R-708) and one(bta-m.R-148b) in OF-Evs. These m.RNAs were predicted to m.dulate several pathways such as wnt, Hippo, m.PK, and lipid m.tabolism.a.d degradation. The present study is a system.tic effort to investigate the structure-sensitive m.gnetic param.ters of Ce^(3+) substituted Ba-Sr hexaferrite nanocrystals chem.cally form.lated as Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders were prepared using the sol-gel self-ignition route and structurally characterized by m.a.s of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform.infrared *** creation of the m.type hexaferrite phase within the synthesized sam.les was revealed from.the Rietveld refinem.nt of the X-ray *** occurrence of a secondary phase of CeO_(2) was revealed within the hexaferrites for the substitution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to com.ute the lattice param.ters,X-ray density,and lattice param.ter *** crystal structure plotted from.the refined XRD data reveals the occupancy of the ions at different lattice *** XPS data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm.the oxidation states of the constituent *** nanocrystalline nature of the hexaferrites was revealed from.the crystallite sizes calculated using Scherer's *** analysis of FTIR spectra confirm. that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accom.odated in the lattice and the rem.ining Ce content reside in the form.of the CeO_(2) *** m.rphology of the hexaferrites was analyzed from.the FESEm.profiles of the ferrite *** m.gnetic behavior study was perform.d by analyzing the Curie tem.erature,hysteresis loops,and hyperfine interactions by m.a.s of susceptibility,v.S.m.a.d m.ssbauer spectroscopy,*** hexaferrites with increasing coercivity,decreasing saturation m.gnetization,and decreasing Curie tem.erature are reported in the *** substituted Ce^(3+)ions inhibit the grain growth and create lattice im.erfections giving rise to hexaferrites with tuned m.gnetic param.ters suitable for different applications.

m.thanotrophic bacteria are currently used industrially for the bioconversion of m.thane-rich natural gas and anaerobic digestion-derived biogas to valuable *** bacteria m.y also serve to m.tigate the negative effects of clim.te change by capturing atm.spheric greenhouse *** genetic tools have previously been developed for genetic and m.tabolic engineering of ***,the available tools for use in m.thanotrophs are significantly underdeveloped com.a.ed to m.ny other industrially relevant bacteria,which hinders genetic and m.tabolic engineering of these *** such,expansion of the m.thanotroph genetic toolbox is needed to further our understanding of m.thanotrophy and develop biotechnologies that leverage these unique m.crobes for m.tigation and conversion of m.thane to valuable ***,we determ.ned the copy num.er of three broad-host-range plasm.ds in m.thylococcus capsulatus Bath and m.thylosinus trichosporium.OB3b,representing phylogenetically diverse Gam.a.roteobacterial and Alphaproteobacterial m.thanotrophs,***,we show that the com.only used synthetic Anderson series prom.ters are functional and exhibit sim.lar relative activity in *** and *** OB3b,but the synthetic series had lim.ted ***,we m.tagenized the native *** particulate m.thane m.nooxygenase prom.ter and identified variants with activity that expand the activity range of synthetic,constitutive prom.ters functional not only in ***,but also in Escherichia ***,the tools developed here advance the m.thanotroph genetic engineering toolbox and represent additional synthetic genetic parts that m.y have broad applicability in Pseudom.nadota bacteria.

Background:No studies have docum.nted long-term.trends in aboveground biom.ss(AGB)for m.xed-dipterocarp forests(m.F),the dom.nant rain forest type in tropical wet equatorial *** our study,we sought to docum.nt such trends over forty years across three sites representing lowland to lower m.ntane ***:To do this,we established fifty 100 m.25 m.plots in 1978 across three sites sam.led along an elevation gradient,identified as m.ture old-growth *** m.a.ured trees for diam.ter at breast height that we identified to species and *** took wood sam.les to calculate species wood-specific *** re-m.a.ured plots in 1998 and again in ***:we show standing AGB for all sites com.ined to be 517.52 m.·ha^(-1)in 1978,but this declined by 17%over 40 years to 430.11 m.·ha^(-1).No differences exist am.ng sites in AGB prim.rily because of considerable within site variation;but interactions of tim. with site show declines across sites were not uniform.one rem.ined about the *** few species represented a high proportion of the AGB with the top five species com.rising between 34%and 65%,depending upon site and year *** species,m.sua nagassarium.represented a disproportionately large am.unt of AGB and decline over tim.,particularly at the low elevation ***:Our results are directly relevant to estim.ting AGB and standing carbon sequestered in *** study is the first to dem.nstrate varying but overall,declining trends in am.unts of AGB am.ng forests m.king predictions of biom.ss and standing carbon in m.F difficult over wide regions.

This study investigates the paleodepositional conditions of the No.6 Seam.of the m.dzaringwe Form.tion in m.khado and voorburg south area of the Soutpansberg Coalfield(Lim.opo Province,South Africa)utilizing organic petrography and inorganic geochem.cal *** coals are predom.nantly high-volatile bitum.nous B-A rank with high ash yields(avg.36.1 wt%),characterized by high-vitrinite(~41.5 vol%),m.derate-to-high inertinite(9.8 vol%–33.7 vol%)and low liptinite(~2.3 vol%).The distribution of inertinite varies am.ng different coal horizons(from.bottom.lower to m.ddle-upper),suggesting differential oxidation conditions and/or paleofire ***-to-inertinite(v/I)ratio,tissue preservation–gelification index(TPI–GI),and groundwater–vegetation index(GwI–vI)plots,indicate that the peat-form.ng forest-swam. vegetation accum.lated under m.sotrophic-to-rheotrophic hydrological *** presence of structured m.cerals(i.e.,telinite,collotelinite,fusinite,and sem.fusinite)suggests well-preserved plant tissues,whereas fram.oidal pyrite and sulphur content(0.24 wt%–2.16 wt%)point to brackish-water influence at the peat *** coals contain quartz,kaolinite,siderite,m.scovite,dolom.te,calcite,and pyrite m.nerals,m.st of which were likely sourced from.felsic igneous *** Al/(Al+Fe+m.)and(Fe+m.)/Ti ratios for the studied sam.les range between 0.24–0.97 and 0.57–70.10,*** ratios,Al–Fe–m. plot,and presence of m.ssive botryoidal-type pyrite im.ly som. influence of m.teoric waters or fluids from.hydrotherm.l activity ***,the chem.cal index of alteration(CIA:98.25–99.67),chem.cal index of weathering(CIw:92.04–97.66),and A–CN–K ternary diagram.suggest inorganic m.tter suffered strong chem.cal weathering,indicating warm.paleoclim.tic conditions during the coal form.tion.

The joint European Space Agency and Chinese Academ. of Sciences Solar wind m.gnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(Sm.LE)m.ssion will explore global dynam.cs of the m.gnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary m.gnetic field conditions,and sim.ltaneously m.nitor the auroral response of the Northern Hem.sphere *** these large-scale responses with m.dium.a.d fine-scale m.a.urem.nts at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instrum.nts will enable a m.ch greater scientific im.a.t beyond the original goals of the Sm.LE ***,we describe current com.unity efforts to prepare for Sm.LE,and the benefits and context various experim.nts that have explicitly expressed support for Sm.LE can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing m.ny different experim.nt types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional Science working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online Sm.LE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special m.des for experim.nts such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and com.unity engagem.nt with the Sm.LE m.ssion,and we welcom. novel ideas and insights from.the solar-terrestrial com.unity.
