NonorthogonalMultiple Access(NOMA)is incorporated into the wireless network systems to achieve better connectivity,spectral and energy effectiveness,higher data transfer rate,and also obtain the high quality of services(QoS).In order to improve throughput and minimum latency,aMultivariate Renkonen Regressive Weighted Preference Bootstrap Aggregation based Nonorthogonal Multiple Access(MRRWPBA-NOMA)technique is introduced for network *** the downlink transmission,each mobile device’s resources and their characteristics like energy,bandwidth,and trust are *** by,the Weighted Preference Bootstrap Aggregation is applied to recognize the resource-efficient mobile devices for aware data transmission by constructing the different weak hypotheses i.e.,Multivariate Renkonen Regression *** on the classification,resource and trust-aware devices are selected for *** of the proposed MRRWPBA-NOMA technique and existing methods are carried out with different metrics such as data delivery ratio,throughput,latency,packet loss rate,and energy efficiency,signaling *** simulation results assessment indicates that the proposed MRRWPBA-NOMA outperforms well than the conventional methods.

Identifying the optimal HvOF spray parameters to attain minimum porosity and maximum hardness in iron based amorphous metallic coatings

Flow based Erosion e corrosion problems are very common in fluid handling equipments such as propellers, impellers, pumps in warships, submarine. Though there are many coating materials available to combat erosionecorrosion damage in the above components, iron based amorphous coatings are considered to be more effective to combat erosionecorrosion problems. High velocity oxy-fuel(HvOF)spray process is considered to be a better process to coat the iron based amorphous powders. In this investigation, iron based amorphous metallic coating was developed on 316 stainless steel substrate using HvOF spray technique. Empirical relationships were developed to predict the porosity and micro hardness of iron based amorphous coating incorporating HvOF spray parameters such as oxygen flow rate, fuel flow rate, powder feed rate, carrier gas flow rate, and spray distance. Response surface methodology(RSM) was used to identify the optimal HvOF spray parameters to attain coating with minimum porosity and maximum hardness.

Soil erosion affects land qualities and water *** problem is severe in Ethiopia due to its topographic *** present research was aimed to estimate spatiotemporal changes in land-use/land-cover pattern and soil erosion in the Yezat watershed in *** study was carried out by using landsat imageries of 2001,2010 and *** were classified into categories using supervised classification by maximum likelihood *** were also classified into different biomass levels by using Normalized Difference vegetation Index(NDvI)*** Universal Soil Loss Equation modeling was applied in a GIS environment to quantify the potential soil erosion *** area under grassland,woodland and homesteads have increased by 610.69(4%),101.69(0.67%)and 126.6 ha(0.83%)during *** extent of cultivated land and shrub/bushland was reduced by 323.43(0.02%)and 515.44 ha(3.41%),respectively,during the same *** vegetation cover in the watershed decreased by 91% during 2001-2010,and increased by 88% during *** of NDvI values indicates better ground cover due to implementation of integrated watershed development program in the *** estimated annual soil losses were 7.2 t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) in 2001,7.7t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) in 2010 and 4.8t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) in *** interventions are necessary to improve the status and utilization of watershed resources in response to sustainable land management practices for sustainable livelihood of the local people.

Ultimate Strength Prediction of Carbon/Epoxy Tensile Specimens from Acoustic Emission Data

The objective of this paper was to predict the residual strength of post impacted carbon/epoxy composite laminates using an online acoustic emission （AE） monitoring and artificial neural networks （ANN）. The laminates were made from eight-layered carbon （in woven mat form） with epoxy as the binding medium by hand lay-up technique and cured at a pressure of 100 kg/cm2 under room temperature using a 30 ton capacity compression molding machine for 24 h. 21 tensile specimens （ASTM D3039 standard） were cut from the cross ply laminates. 16 specimens were subjected to impact load from three different heights using a Fractovis Plus drop impact tester. Both impacted and non-impacted specimens were subjected to uniaxial tension under the acoustic emission monitoring using a 100 kN FIE servo hydraulic universal testing machine. The dominant AE parameters such as counts, energy, duration, rise time and amplitude are recorded during monitoring. Cumulative counts corresponding to the amplitude ranges obtained during the tensile testing are used to train the network. This network can be used to predict the failure load of a similar specimen subjected to uniaxial tension under acoustic emission monitoring for certain percentage of the average failure load.

An insight on occurrence of Fe-rich spherules from the Central Indian Ocean Basin(CIOB)provides an understanding of their distribution at a water depth of>5,000 *** the present study,Fe-rich spherules are identified to occur in two different sediment types(i.e.,siliceous and pelagic)and tectonic settings(*** seamounts and fracture zones).These are single spheres or aggregates,of different sizes(63 to 390μm)and show textural variability(smooth/quenched,brickwork,corkscrew,interlocking and dendritic).A comparative study based on physical morphology and chemical composition suggests a common mechanism of *** association of spherules with fracture zones(FZ)and seamounts signifies that morpho-tectonic features play an important role in fluid-driven *** on the evidence and geologic conditions existing in the basin,we conclude that molten fuel-coolant interaction(MFCI)coupled with submarine hydrothermal exhalations could be an ideal mechanism for the formation of spherules and *** accretion of the spherules on the surface sediments could be a result of recent volcanic phenomena,while those occurring at different depths(280-355,and 460-475 cm-bsf)within the sediment core indicate two different *** study provides a global implication in understanding fluid-driven magmatism in a deep-sea intraplate environment.

Genetic epidemiology of irritable bowel syndrome

Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) is the most common functional gastrointestinal disorder characterized by presence of abdominal pain or discomfort associated with altered bowel habits. It has three main subtypes- constipation predominant IBS(C-IBS),diarrhea predominant IBS(D-IBS) and IBS with mixed featuresof both diarrhea as well as constipation(M-IBS). Its pathophysiology and underlying mechanisms remain elusive. It is traditionally believed that IBS is a result of multiple factors including hypersensitivity of the bowel,altered bowel motility,inflammation and stress. Initial studies have shown familial aggregation of IBS suggesting shared genetic or environmental factors. Twin studies of IBS from different parts of world have shown higher concordance rates among monozygotic twins than dizygotic twins,and thus suggesting a genetic component to this disorder. Multiple studies have tried to link single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) to IBS but there is little evidence that these SNPs are functional. various molecules have been studied and investigated by the researchers. Serotonin,a known neurotransmitter and a local hormone in the enteric nervous system,has been most extensively explored. At this time,the underlying gene pathways,genes and functional variants linked with IBS remain unknown and the promise of genetically-determined risk prediction and personalize medicine remain unfulfilled. However,molecular biological technologies continue to evolve rapidly and genetic investigations offer much promise in the intervention,treatment and prevention of IBS.

Influence of Filler Metals in the Control of Deleterious Phases During the Multi-pass Welding of Inconel 718 Plates

The present study reported the effect of filler metals on the microstructure and mechanical properties of pulsed current gas tungsten arc-welded Inconel 718 plates. Two different filler metals such as ERNiCr-3 and ERNiCrMo-4 were employed for welding Inconel 718. The primary objective of this study is to suppress or eradicate the deleterious phase such as Laves or δ （delta） which is considered to be detrimental to the weld properties. Microstructure examination corroborated the presence of unmixed zone at the HAZ for both the weldments. Tensile test trials envisaged that ERNiCrMo-4 weldments offered better tensile properties compared to ERNiCr-3 weldments, whereas the impact toughness was found to be better for ERNiCr-3 weldments. Line mapping analysis was carried out to study the elemental migration across the weldments. The structure-property relationships of the weldments were arrived at using the combined tech- niques of optical and scanning electron microscopy. Optical and SEM/EDAX analysis showed that there is no prominent occurrence of deleterious phases at the weld zone on employing these filler metals.

A novel LC–MS/MS assay for methylprednisolone in human plasma and its pharmacokinetic application

Methylprednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid. In our report, the authors proposed a sensitive and selective liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS) assay for the determination of methylprednisolone applying budesonide as internal standard. Liquid–liquid extraction(LLE) having tert–butyl methyl ether(TBME) have been employed to extract methylprednisolone from the plasma samples. Immediately after reconstitution, the samples were chromatographed on a C18 column using an isocratic mobile phase composed of 10 m M ammonium formate buffer and acetonitrile(35:65, v/v). A flow rate of 1.00 ml/min was used to elute the analyte form the column. Analysis was carried out with an API–4000 LC–MS/MS instrument operated in multiple reaction-monitoring(MRM) mode. The linearity has been proven within the concentration range of 10.1–804 ng/ml in plasma samples. The precision(%Cv) and accuracy results in five validation batches across five concentration levels were well within the acceptance limits. The drug was stable under different conditions. The particular assay has been proficiently put on pharmacokinetic study in healthy male subjects.
