A new genus and three new species of miniaturized microhylid frogs from Indochina(Amphibia: Anura:Microhylidae: Asterophryinae)

We report on the discovery of a new genus of microhylid subfamily Asterophryinae from northern and eastern Indochina, containing three new *** Gen. nov. are secretive miniaturized frogs(SvLrial lifestyle. To assess phylogenetic relationships, we studied 12 S rrNA – 16 S rrNA mt DNA fragments with a final alignment of 2 591 bp for 53 microhylid species. Morphological and osteological characters were analyzed using micro-CT scanning and used to describe the new genus. results of phylogenetic analyses assigned the new genus into the mainly Australasian subfamily Asterophryinae as a sister taxon to the genus Siamophryne from southern Indochina. The three specimens collected from Gia Lai Province in central vietnam, Cao Bang Province in northern vietnam, and Chiang rai Province in northern Thailand proved to be separate species, different both in morphology and genetics(genetic divergence 3.1%≤P≤5.1%). Our work provides further evidence for the "out of Indo-Eurasia"scenario for Asterophryinae, indicating that the initial cladogenesis and differentiation of this group of frogs occurred in the Indochina Peninsula. To date, each of the three new species of vietnamophryne Gen. nov. is known only from a single specimen; thus,their distribution, life history, and conservation status require further study.

In this paper, a running cost is cheap from the thing used for harmless peening treatment to the environment, health which an influence is rare in toward processing material like heat being only water fundamentally, and economical, and the characteristics is hard to get are given. There is some research about the residual stress improvement by water-jet peening during the high-speed water. In this study, a big bubble cloud ceremony water-jet peening which dissolves the problem of the form of the applicable thing by exposing the whole of the applicable thing in the big bubble cloud as the way of dealing with peening efficiently in a short time is proposed by this research. Moreover, the uniform compression residual stress is added around the surface of the processing side, and connected with the remarkable improvement of the fatigue strength of the part. Furthermore, and safety processing is very possible, and it thinks about the thing which has possible high practical use, and writers to get rid of the problems of the way of processing it with peening until now. Water-jet peening was given by this research during high-speed water with big bubble cloud-type water toward tooth gear manufactured by SCr420H3 v2 to open the effect of water-jet peening during the high-speed water. A change was measured at the time as the sutra of the residual stress on the surface of the test settlement by the X-ray method, and the validity of this law was verified.

robust Optimization of the Output voltage of Nanogenerators by Statistical Design of Experiments

Nanogenerators were first demonstrated by deflecting aligned ZnO nanowires using a conductive atomic force microscopy(AFM)*** output of a nanogenerator is affected by three parameters:tip normal force,tip scanning speed,and tip *** this work,systematic experimental studies have been carried out to examine the combined effects of these three parameters on the output,using statistical design of experiments.A statistical model has been built to analyze the data and predict the optimal parameter *** an AFM tip of cone angle 70°coated with Pt,and ZnO nanowires with a diameter of 50 nm and lengths of 600 nm to 1μm,the optimized parameters for the nanogenerator were found to be a normal force of 137 nN and scanning speed of 40μm/s,rather than the conventional settings of 120 nN for the normal force and 30μm/s for the scanning speed.A nanogenerator with the optimized settings has three times the average output voltage of one with the conventional settings.

Characterization of the negative carbon isotope shift in segment C2,its global implications as a harbinger of OAEla

Lower Cretaceous C-isotope records show intermittent negative/positive spikes,and consistent patterns of coeval chemostratigraphic curves thus document shifts that signal simultaneous responses of temporal changes in the global carbon *** standard pattern registered by theδ^(13)C_(org)andδ^(13)C_(carb)in Lower Aptian sediments includes distinct isotope segments C1 to C8(Menegatti et al.,1998).In the El Pui section,Organya Basin,Spain,C-isotope segment C2 is the longest interval preceding segments C3-C6 associated with oceanic anoxic event la(OAE la),and reveals a distinct negative shift of^1.8‰to^2.23‰defining the C-isotope pattern within that *** inorganic carbon(TIC),total organic carbon(TOC),δ^(13)C_(org),microfacies,n-alkanes show no difference before,during,or after the negative *** biomarkers indicate that organic matter(OM)mainly originates from algal/microbial sources because short-chain length homologues(≤nC_(19))***_(20)through nC_(25)indicate some contribution from aquatic vegetation,but little from higher plants(>nC_(25)),as also suggested by the terrestrial/aquatic ratio of n-alkanes or(TAr)=[(nC_(27)+nC_(29)+nC_(31))/(nC_(15)+nC_(17)+nC_(19))](averages 0.085).We suggest that conjoint pulses of contemporaneous LIPs(Ontong Java)and massive explosive volcanism in northeast Asia,the Songliao Basin(SB-v),best conform to plausible causes of the negative intra-C2 carbon isotopic excursion(CIE)at that *** of its apparent common occurrence the intra-C2 inflection could be a useful marker harbinger to the more pronounced CIE C3,the hallmark of OAE1a.

Interactions of ion acoustic multi-soliton and rogue wave with Bohm quantum potential in degenerate plasma

This work investigates the interactions among solitons and their consequences in the production of rogue waves in an unmagnetized plasmas composing non-relativistic as well as relativistic degenerate electrons and positrons, and inertial non-relativistic helium ions. The extended Poincare′–Lighthill–Kuo（PLK） method is employed to derive the two-sided Korteweg–de vries（Kdv） equations with their corresponding phase shifts. The nonlinear Schrodinger equation（NLSE） is obtained from the modified Kd v（mKdv） equation, which allows one to study the properties of the rogue waves. It is found that the Fermi temperature and quantum mechanical effects become pronounced due to the quantum diffraction of electrons and positrons in the plasmas. The densities and temperatures of the helium ions, degenerate electrons and positrons, and quantum parameters strongly modify the electrostatic ion acoustic resonances and their corresponding phase shifts due to the interactions among solitons and produce rogue waves in the plasma.

Mechanisms underlying detection of seed dormancy by a scatter-hoarding rodent

The mechanism underlying detection of seed dormancy by scatter-hoarding rodents is unclear,although previous work suggests that the pericarp plays an important role in signaling dormancy *** gray squirrels(Sciurus carolinensis)consume early germinating seeds as they are more likely to perish immediately,whereas dormant seeds tend to be *** examine the mechanisms underlying dormancy detection,we characterized physical and chemical differences between germinating and dormant pericarps of northern red oak(Quercus rubra),American chestnut(Castanea dentata)and the BC3 hybrid of Chinese chestnut and American chestnut(Castanea mollissima×***)using scanning electron microscopy and gas chromatography-mass spec*** found that,as seeds break dormancy,the wax layer on the pericarp degrades and is accompanied by the escape of lower molecular weight kernel compounds or lipid metabolism *** field experiments showed that squirrels were 4-8 times more likely to consume seeds that were altered to remove pericarp wax coating or that were sprayed with seed *** argue that dormancy detection by scatter-hoarding rodents is a complex process involving physical cues such as loss of pericarp wax and chemical cues such as emission of olfactory cues.

Effect of coke properties and its blending recipe on performances of carbon anode for aluminium electrolysis

The properties and blending recipe of petroleum cokes used to make high quality carbon anodes for aluminium electrolysis were studied. Three kinds of green cokes were selected for bench scale study to illustrate the effects of cokes properties and its blending recipe on anode performances. The results show that impurities derived mainly from cokes remarkably affect the CO2 reactivity and air reactivity of carbon anodes. Ca, Na and v can increase CO2 reactivity of calcined cokes but S has the contrary effect, and the cokes of high v level generally present high air reactivity. The anodes with good quality can be made by properly selecting and scientifically blending of cokes, some poor quality cokes can also be used to produce high quality anodes with a reasonable blending recipe. Na contaminated anodes have high CO2 reactivity and air reactivity, so the recycled anode butts should be well cleaned to reduce Na content before being introduced into anode production, which is especially important to the low S cokes.

The latest advancements in highway research domain and increase in the number of vehicles everyday led to wider exposure and attention towards the development of efficient Intelligent Transportation System(ITS).One of the popular research areas i.e.,vehicle License Plate recognition(vLPr)aims at determining the characters that exist in the license plate of the *** vLPr process is a difficult one due to the differences in viewpoint,shapes,colors,patterns,and non-uniform illumination at the time of capturing *** current study develops a robust Deep Learning(DL)-based vLPr model using Squirrel Search Algorithm(SSA)-based Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),called the SSA-CNN *** presented technique has a total of four major processes namely preprocessing,License Plate(LP)localization and detection,character segmentation,and *** Transform(HT)is applied as a feature extractor and SSA-CNN algorithm is applied for character recognition in *** SSA-CNN method effectively recognizes the characters that exist in the segmented image by optimal tuning of CNN *** HT-SSA-CNN model was experimentally validated using the Stanford Car,FZU Car,and HumaIn 2019 Challenge *** experimentation outcome verified that the presented method was better under several *** projected HT-SSA-CNN model implied the best performance with optimal overall accuracy of 0.983%.

The Cretaceous Turn of Geological Evolution: Key Evidence from East Asia

this work focuses on one of the critical points of Earth＇s history when the Solar System passed through the most distant point of its galactic orbit. During this event, Earth may have suffered from maximum extension, associated with its relative proximity to the Sun at that time, followed by long-term contraction related to its later distancing. This paper is based on generalized data on the Cretaceous evolution of the Earth as a whole and of East Asia in particular. The evidence suggests that major geological processes at this time may be interpreted as transitional changes in the state of Earth. A liquid nature of its core may have reacted to the gravitational and electromagnetic transformations. When the cosmic changes took place at 135-120 Ma, more turbulent flows in the outer core would have favoured the rise of voluminous magmatic plumes and associated fluid flows. These would substantially transform the mantle, crust, hydrosphere, biosphere and atmosphere. In particular, plume-related melting of overlying subducting slabs and lower continental crust could have initiated numerous adakitic melts that formed the East Asian Adakitic Province. These and associated juvenile events produced numerous metallic ore, coal, gas and oil deposits. The Cretaceous is one of the most significant resource-producing periods.
