Cooking quality of dehusked splits is influenced by the dehulling method,in particular,by the pre-milling *** effects of four enzymatic hydrolysis parameters,i.e.,enzyme concentration(20-60 mg/100 g dry matter),incubation time(3-15 h),incubation temperature(40-60℃)and tempering water pH(4.0-6.0)on cooking time of pigeon pea dhal were optimized using response surface *** kinds of enzymes,i.e.,xylanase,pectinase,and cellulas were used in combination for enzymatic pre-treatment.A quadratic model satisfactorily described the dehulling efficiency with high value for the coefficient of determination R^(2)(0.9062).It predicted a minimum cooking time of 21.91 min at enzyme concentration of 37.8 mg/100 g dry matter,incubation time 8.69 min,incubation temperature 48.5℃ and pH 5.49 of tempering *** time at optimum condition was observed to be 21.50 min and the predicted values of cooking time showed 2.19% deviation from the experimental *** of the study revealed that cooking time of enzyme treated dhal could be decreased by 19.77% compared to the oil treated dhal.

Full factorial design was used to evaluate the two-body abrasive resistance of 3wt%C–4wt%Mn–1.5wt%ni spheroidal carbide cast irons with varying vanadium（5.0wt%–10.0wt%） and chromium（up to 9.0wt%） contents. The alloys were quenched at 920℃. The regression equation of wear rate as a function of v and Cr contents was proposed. This regression equation shows that the wear rate decreases with increasing v content because of the growth of spheroidal vC carbide amount. Cr influences the overall response in a complex manner both by reducing the wear rate owing to eutectic carbides（M7C3） and by increasing the wear rate though stabilizing austenite to deformation-induced martensite transformation. This transformation is recognized as an important factor in increasing the abrasive response of the alloys. By analyzing the regression equation, the optimal content ranges are found to be 7.5wt%–10.0wt% for v and 2.5wt%–4.5wt% for Cr, which corresponds to the alloys containing 9vol%–15vol% spheroidal vC carbides, 8vol%–16vol% M7C3, and a metastable austenite/martensite matrix. The wear resistance is 1.9–2.3 times that of the traditional 12wt% v–13wt% Mn spheroidal carbide cast iron.

The present research work has been carried out on biomass based on 10 kW capacity gasifier power generation system installed at College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology,*** Deshmukh Agricultural University(***),Akola Maharashtra,*** main objectives were to evaluate various costs and benefits involved in the power generation *** costs of energy per unit were calculated for the first year of *** economics of gasifier based power generation system and thereby the feasibility of the system was examined by estimating per unit cost,net present value(npv),Benefit Cost Ratio(BCR),Internal Rate of Return(IRR)and payback *** discount cash flow method was used to find out the *** the present analysis,three costs viz.,installed capital cost,operation and maintenance cost,and levelised replacement cost were examined for the evaluation of the power generation per *** rate on investment in case of subsidy(Case I)and in case without subsidy(Case II)for installation cost of system was considered as 12.75%.The BCR comes in Case I for operating duration of 22 h,20 h,and 16 h are 1.24,1.18,and 1.13,*** for Case II BCR comes 1.44,1.38,and *** IRR comes in Case I for operating duration of 22 h,20 h,and 16 h are 26%,22%,and 19%,*** for Case II,IRR comes 52%,44%,and 39%for operating duration of 22 h,20 h,and 16 h,*** payback period in the present analysis was worked *** payback period for biomass based gasifier power generation system was observed to be for Case I from three to four years and for Case II it was one to two years.

This paper sets forth a geomechanics framework for assessing the energy efficiency of rotary percussive drilling using the energy criterion, which has been proposed by victor Oparin for volumetric destruction of high-stress rocks having nonuniform physico-mechanical properties. We review the long-term research and development in the specified area of science and technology, including research and development projects implemented at the Institute of Mining, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. A new modified expression of Oparin’s dimensionless energy criterion of volumetric rock destruction k is introduced. The range of in situ values is determined for the energy criterion of volumetric rock destruction at the optimized energy efficiency of rotary percussive drilling. The temporospatial intervals of geotechnical monitoring are found to control pneumatic drilling energy efficiency at subsoil use objects in Russia. The integrated experimental, theoretical and geotechnical approach to the comprehensive investigation of real-time processes of rock fracture in rotary percussive drilling using the energy concept possesses the necessary geomechanical performance-and-technology potential to create the next level geotechnical monitoring of drilling systems for various purposes, including determination of physico-mechanical properties and the stress-strain analysis of rock mass in full-scale drilling.
