m.lti-azim.th walkaway vertical seism.c profiling is an established technique for the estim.tion of in situ slowness surfaces and inferring anisotropy ***,this technique requires the assum.tion of lateral hom.geneity,which m.kes the horizontal slowness com.onents at depths of downhole receivers equal to those m.asured at the *** violations of this assum.tion,such as lateral heterogeneity or nonzero dip of interm.diate interfaces,lead to distortions in reconstructed slowness surfaces and,consequently,to errors in estim.ted anisotropic *** this work,we relax the assum.tion of lateral hom.geneity and discuss how to correct vertical seism.c profile data for weak lateral *** describe a procedure of downward continuation of recorded traveltim.s that accounts for the presence of both vertical inhom.geneity and weak lateral heterogeneity,which produces correct slowness surfaces at depths of downhole receivers,noticing that sufficiently dense receiver coverage along a borehole is required to separate influences of vertical and lateral heterogeneity on m.asured traveltim.s and obtain accurate estim.tes of the slowness *** the slowness surfaces are found and a desired type of anisotropic m.del to be inverted is selected,the corresponding anisotropic param.ters,providing the best fit to the estim.ted slownesses,can be *** invert the slowness surfaces of P-waves for param.ters of the sim.lest anisotropic m.del describing dipping fractures(transversely isotropic m.dium.with a tilted sym.etry axis).Five param.ters of this m.del,nam.ly,the P-wave velocity v0 in the direction of the sym.etry axis,Thom.en's anisotropic coefficients e and d,the tilt n,and the azim.th b of the sym.etry axis,can be estim.ted in a stable m.nner when m.xim.m.source offset is greater than half of receiver depth.

Plants are sessile organism. that have acquired highly plastic developm.ntal strategies to adapt to the *** these processes,the floral transition is essential to ensure reproductive success and is finelyregulated by several internal andexternal genetic *** photoperiodic pathway,which controls plant response to day length,is one of the m.st im.ortant pathways controlling *** Arabidopsis photoperiodic flowering,CONSTANS(CO)is the central gene activating the expression of the florigen FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)in the leaves at the end of a long *** circadian clock strongly regulates Co ***,to date,no evidence has been reported regarding a feedbackloop from.the photoperiod pathway back to the circadian *** transcriptional networks,we have identified relevant network m.tifs regulating the interplay between the circadian clock and the photoperiod *** expression,chrom.tin im.unoprecipitation experim.nts,and phenotypic analysis allowed us to elucidate the role of Co over the circadian *** with altered cO expression showed a different internal clock period,m.asured by daily leaf rhythm.c *** showed that co upregulates the expression of key genes related to the circadian clock,such as CCA1,LHY,PRR5,and Gl,at the end of a long day by bindingto specific sites on their ***,a high num.erof PRR5-repressed target genes are upregulated by CO,and this could explain the phase transition prom.ted by *** CO-PRR5 com.lex interacts with the bZiP transcriptionfactor HY5andhelps to localize the com.lex in the prom.ters of clock *** together,our results indicate that there m.y be a feedback loop in which co com.unicates back to the circadian clock,providing seasonal inform.tion to the circadian system.

The present study investigates the physical and chem.cal characteristics,behavior in vitro and in vivo,and biocom.atibility of coatings containing Ta_(2)O_(5),which are obtained by plasm. electrolytic oxidation(PEO)on m.8 m.gnesium.*** obtained coatings dem.nstrate in vivo biocom.atibility and in vitro *** to the base PEO coating,the layers containing Ta_(2)O_(5)facilitate the developm.nt of apatite in sim.lated body fluid,suggesting that the inclusion of nanoparticles im.roves bioactivity of the *** was found that incorporation of Ta_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles increases roughness and porosity of the form.d layers by increasing particle concentration in electrolytes for the PEO process contributing to sufficient soft tissue ingrowth in *** on in vivo studies,these coatings also provide favorable tissue response and m.nim.l inflam.atory reaction in com.arison with the bare m.gnesium.alloy due to protection of living tissues from.deleterious corrosion events of m.gnesium.im.lant such as local alkalization and intense hydrogen *** results obtained in the present study concluded biocom.atibility,tissue integration of the PEO coatings containing Ta_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles m.king them.a prom.sing protective layer for biodegradable m.gnesium.im.lants.

In this study,a calcium.phosphate coating was form.d on a m.-m.-Ce alloy by the plasm. electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancom.cin,widely used in the treatm.nt of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus(***),was im.regnated into the *** with vancom.cin showed high bactericidal activity against *** m.chanical and electrochem.cal properties of the form.d coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on m.ture m.le rats were *** to SEm.EDS,XRD and XPS data,coatings had a developed m.rphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancom.cin did not reveal any differences,confirm.ng the high roughness of the *** electrochem.cal tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by m.re than two tim.s after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the im.lantation of sam.les with calcium.phosphate PEO coating and vancom.cin,no signs of inflam.ation were observed,while an inflam.atory reaction developed in the area of im.lantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from.the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experim.nt,no significant deviations in the condition and behavior of the anim.ls were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a system.c toxic reaction.

This paper theoretically studies the im.urity states and the effects of im.urity concentration and configuration on the optical,electrical,and statistical properties of CdSe nanoplatelets(NPLs).An im.ge charge-based m.del of electron-im.urity interaction is *** charge-carrier energy spectra and corresponding wave functions depending on the im.urity num.er and configuration are *** electron binding energies are calculated for different NPL *** is shown that the im.ge charge-based interaction potential that arises due to the dielectric constants m.sm.tch is m.ch stronger than the interaction potential that does not take such a m.sm.tch into ***,it is dem.nstrated that the binding energies are increasing with the num.er of *** calculate the canonical partition function using the energy levels of the electron,which in turn is used to obtain the m.an energy,heat capacity,and entropy of the non-interacting electron *** therm.dynam.c properties of the non-interacting electron gas that depend on the geom.tric param.ters of the NPL,im.urity num.er,configuration,and tem.erature are studied.
