Wrought and laser powder bed fusion （LPBF） Ti-6Al-4v specimens were comparatively evaluated， with the objective to determine LPBF Ti-6-4’s suitability for biomedical applications. Testing included nanoindentation， cyclic polarization in simulated body fluid （sBF， 37 ℃ ）， and dry and sBF “Ball-on-Plate” sliding. Wrought Ti-6-4 exhibited a lamellar （α+β） microstructure， whereas LPBF displayed a fine-grained α'-martensite microstructure. LPBF Ti-6-4 demonstrated ～3% higher indentation modulus and ～32% higher hardness， while wrought Ti-6-4 showed ～8% higher plasticity. Both alloys exhibited low corrosion rates (10–5mA/cm2order) and true passivity (10–4mA/cm2order). No localized corrosion was observed in either alloy， except for occasional metastable pitting in the LPBF alloy. However， LPBF Ti-6-4 presented higher corrosion rate and passive current， ascribed to its martensitic structure. During dry sliding， LPBF Ti-6-4 exhibited ～14% lower volume loss compared to wrought Ti-6-4. sliding in sBF increased volume losses for both alloys， with wear resistances nearly equalized， as the advantage of LPBF Ti-6-4 decreased due to more intensive wear-accelerated corrosion induced by the stressed martensite. Overall， the results demonstrate the suitability of LPBF Ti-6Al-4v for biomedical uses.

Wireless sensor Networks(WsNs)are a collection of sensor nodes distributed in space and connected through wireless *** sensor nodes gather and store data about the real world around ***,the nodes that are dependent on batteries will ultimately suffer an energy loss with time,which affects the lifetime of the *** research proposes to achieve its primary goal by reducing energy consumption and increasing the network’s lifetime and *** present technique employs the hybrid Mayfly Optimization Algorithm-Enhanced Ant Colony Optimization(MFOA-EACO),where the Mayfly Optimization Algorithm(MFOA)is used to select the best cluster head(CH)from a set of nodes,and the Enhanced Ant Colony Optimization(EACO)technique is used to determine an optimal route between the cluster head and base *** performance evaluation of our suggested hybrid approach is based on many parameters,including the number of active and dead nodes,node degree,distance,and energy *** objective is to integrate MFOA-EACO to enhance energy efficiency and extend the network life of the WsN in the *** proposed method outcomes proved to be better than traditional approaches such as Hybrid squirrel-Flying Fox Optimization Algorithm(HsFLBOA),Hybrid social Reindeer Optimization and Differential Evolution-Firefly Algorithm(HsRODE-FFA),social spider Distance sensitive-Iterative Antlion Butterfly Cockroach Algorithm(sADss-IABCA),and Energy Efficient Clustering Hierarchy strategy-Improved social spider Algorithm Differential Evolution(EECHs-IssADE).

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different stratigraphic positions of Dharwar Craton including the oldest(~3.3 ga)sargur group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the ancient sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high siO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,CaO,strongly enriched Cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),sr(46–210 ppm),v(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(UCC).The UCC normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns are characterized by depleted light REE[(La/sm)UCC=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy REE[(gd/Yb)_(UCC)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by Cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of Cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the sargur group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar Craton.

A generalized kinetic model of atomic level populations in an optically dense plasma excited by laser pulses of arbitrary duration is formulated and *** model is based on a nonstationary expression for the probability of excitation of an atomic transition and takes into account the effects of laser pulse penetration into an optically dense medium.A universal formula for the excitation probability as a function of time and propagation length is derived and applied to the case of a Lorentzian spectral profile of an atomic transition excited by a laser pulse with a gaussian *** features of nonstationary excitation probabilities are presented for different optical depths of the plasma,laser pulse durations,and carrier *** formulas derived here will be useful for the description of atomic populations excited by laser pulses under realistic conditions of dense plasmas.

The article describes ethylene polymerization reactions with transition metal catalysts based on complexes of CoCl_(2) and FeCl_(2) with an N,N,N-tridentate ligand 2,6-bis[1-(2,6-dimethylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine. The complexes are converted into polymerization catalysts by reacting them either with polymethylalumoxane (MAO) or with a combination of Al(C2H5)2Cl and Mg(C4H9)2 at an [Al]:[Mg] ratio of ~3. Both MAO-activated complexes readily polymerize ethylene at 35 ℃ with the formation of linear, low molecular weight polymers with a narrow molecular weight distribution. The same complexes, when activated with the Al(C2H5)2Cl-Mg(C4H9)2 combination, form multi-center catalysts and generate polyethylenes with a broad molecular weight distribution.

The envisaged design and developme nt of individual mate rials to excavate a broader spectrum of desired properties and offer multiple applications are highly *** this in mind,a series of forsterite-structured Mg2geO4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors was synthesized via a solution combustion method using oxalyl dihydrazide as a *** X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the orthorhombic crystal system with a Puma space *** results clearly show irregularly shaped cluster-like structures with aggregation of the *** diffuse reflectance spectra,the optical energy band gap of the Mg2geO4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors was estimated and obtained to be～4.12-4.32 *** photoluminescence emission spectra exhibit intense peaks at ～579,589,610,661,and 707 nm,which are due to characteristic5D0→7F0,5D0→7F1,5Do→7F2,5D0→7F3and5D0→7F4transitions of Eu3+ions,*** Commission International de L'Eclairage color coordinates are gradually tuned from pale red（0.5980,0.4012） to a pure red（0.6385,0.3611） *** glow peaks showcase excellent super-linear response at low doses of γ-irradiations,indicating that the prepared phosphor can be used in thermoluminescent personal dosimetry which is a biological tissue *** aforementioned results demonstrate that the prepared Mg2geO4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors are considered an excellent candidate for dual applications,i.e.,red component in future generation white-light-emitting diodes（WLEDs） and personal dosimetric applications.
