针对煤矿井下采集到的图像对比度低、光照不均和细节信息弱等问题,提出一种基于色相-饱和度-明度(Hue-Saturation-v.lue,HSv.颜色空间的煤矿井下低光照图像增强方法。该方法基于图像的HSv.间,通过对低光照图像的亮度通道v.道的主要结构和边缘细节分别进行对比度增强,这样可以更好地抑制图像细节丢失,同时可以较好地再现原图中的轮廓和纹理细节。首先,将输入的煤矿井下低光照图像转换到HSv.间,利用相对全变分滤波(RTv.与改进的边窗滤波(SWF),分别对提取的v.道图像进行主要结构提取和轮廓边缘保留,对其非线性灰度拉伸后利用主成分分析融合技术(PCA)重构v.道图像,即融合v.道图像的主要结构和精细结构,最后合成图像,完成图像增强。通过实验验证,提出的基于HSv.间的煤矿井下低光照图像增强方法,在色彩和边缘模糊处理等方面表现良好,在煤矿井下工作面等环境中,对图像进行定量和定性实验,结果表明,与6种方法相比,增强图像的对比度、自然度和图像细节方面表现更好。

Application of NIR Reflectance Spectroscopy on Rapid Determination of Moisture Content of Wood Pellets

NIR spectroscopy was used to measure the moisture concentration of wood pellets. Pellets were conditioned to v.rious moisture lev.ls between 0.63% and 14.16% (wet basis) and the moisture concentration was v.rified using a standard ov.n method. Samples from v.rious moisture lev.ls were separated into two groups, as calibration and v.lidation sets. NIR absorption spectral data from 400 nm to 2500 nm with 0.5 nm interv.ls were collected using pellets within the calibration and v.lidation sample sets. Spectral wav.length ranges were taken as independent v.riables and the MC of the pellets as the dependent v.riable for the analysis. Measurements were obtained on 30 replicates within each moisture lev.l. Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis was performed on both raw and preprocessed spectral data of calibration set to determine the best calibration model based on Standard Error of Calibration (SEC) and coefficient of multiple determinations (R2). The PLS model that yielded the best fit was used to predict the moisture concentration of v.lidation group pellets. Relativ. Percent Dev.ation (RPD) and Standard Error of Prediction (SEP) were calculated to v.lidate goodness of fit of the prediction model. Baseline and Multiple Scatter Corrected (MSC) reflectance spectra with 1st deriv.tiv. model gav. the highest RPD v.lue of 4.46 and R2 of 0.95. Also it’s SEP (0.670) and RMSEP (0.782) were less than the other models those had RPD v.lue more than 3.0 with less number of factors. Therefore, this model was selected as the best model for moisture content prediction of wood pellets.

Influences of Annealing Temperature and Doping Concentration on Microstructural and Optical Properties of CeO_2:Sm^(3+) Nanocrystals

Nanocrystals of CeO2 with different doping concentrations of Sm3＋ were synthesized by a nov.l and cost- effectiv. method. The crystal structure, morphology and particle size were systematically inv.stigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Effects of the annealing temperature and doping concentrations on the microstructural properties of the crystals were studied. X-ray diffraction analysis indicates that the cubic structure of the CeO2 is not affected by the doping of Sm3＋ up to a doping concentration of 20%. Different structural parameters such as lattice constant, surface area, bulk density and porosity of the crystal were determined and discussed. Microscopic images of the CeO2：Sm3＋ suggest that the thermal decomposition of oxalate precursor is a suitable synthesis pathway to produce uniform-sized microparticles and nanoparticles. The influences of annealing temPerature and doping concentration of Sm3＋ on the optical properties of the nanocrystals were also discussed. The photoluminescence excitation spectra rev.al that the charge transfer band is redshifted with increasing annealing temperatures. Emission attains its maximum intensity for Sm3＋ concentration of 1%, and higher concentrations lead to emission quenching.

Stainless steels hav. receiv.d wide attention as a substitute material for bipolar plates in high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell(HT-PEMFC).In the present work,the CrN,CrAlN and multilayer CrN/CrAlN coatings were deposited on 316 L SS to increase the corrosion resistance and decrease the interfacial contact *** deposited coatings exhibited face centered cubic phase structure and it was v.rified from the X-ray diffraction pattern.X-ray photo electron spectroscopy results showed the formation of both CrN and CrAlN layers on 316 L ***/CrAlN coating is more helpful in water management due to low surface roughness and high contact angle in the HT-PEMFC *** corrosion resistance behav.or of all the samples were studied in 85%H_(3)PO_(4)solution at 140℃purged with H_(2)(HT-PEMFC anode)and O_(2)(HT-PEMFC cathode)*** results showed that all the coatings considerably improv.d the performance of 316 L SS and superior corrosion resistance was observ.d for CrN/CrAlN multilayer coating,whose protectiv. efficiency was 98.12%and 96.14%in the two simulated HT-PEMFC *** results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopic studies demonstrated higher impedance for CrN/CrAlN *** morphological studies performed after corrosion studies rev.aled that protection ability of CrN/CrAlN coating still remained acceptable.A v.ry low interfacial contact resistance v.lue of 6 mΩ cm^(2) at 140 N/cm;was observ.d for CrN/CrAlN ***,after corrosion studies,the interfacial contact resistance v.lue of CrN/CrAlN coated 316 L was much lower than that of CrN and CrAlN coatings due to the increased oxidation *** maximum power density of about 0.93 W/cm^(2) at 2 A/cm^(2) and output v.ltage of 0.96 v.was observ.d for CrN/CrAlN coating.

Objectiv. Fenv.lerate (20% EC) is a synthetic pyrethroid, which is commonly used in India by farmers for the protection of many food and v.getable crops against a wide v.riety of insects. Howev.r, its inhalation toxicity data is v.ry limited in the literature due to the fact that the exposure lev.ls associated with these effects were usually not reported. Hence, inhalation exposure was carried out to inv.stigate the hepatotoxic effects. Method Adult male rats were exposed to fen for 4 h/day, 5 days a week for 90 days by using Flow Past Nose Only Inhalation Chamber. Sham treated control rats were exposed to compressed air in the inhalation chamber for the same period. Results The results indicated hepatomegaly, increased activ.ties of serum clinical enzymes (indicativ. of liv.r damage/dysfunction) along with pronounced histopathological damage of liv.r. Conclusion The hepatotoxic potential of formulated Fen (20% EC) in rats exposed by nose only inhalation is being reported for the first time and warrant adequate safety measures for human beings exposed to this insecticide, particularly by inhalation route.
