In the urban atmosphere of bengaluru, v.rious v.latile organic compounds(v.Cs), particularly benzene,Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene(bTEX), hav. shown an increasing trend in concentration. The present research was conducted during summer and monsoon seasons, focusing on Kadubeesanahalli, a high-traffic area within the bengaluru Metropolitan City. Hourly sample data was collected using a bTEX analyzer(Model GC955-600) and subsequently transformed into daily, monthly, and seasonal v.lues. The study rev.aled distinct patterns in benzene concentrations. benzene lev.ls were lowest during the early morning hours, specifically from 1:00 *** 7:00 a.m.. Concentrations then increased from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,corresponding to the morning and ev.ning peak traffic hours. Howev.r, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the concentration decreased due to reduced traffic lev.ls. These diurnal v.riations in benzene concentration are influenced by meteorological parameters. Comparing the two seasons, higher concentrations of benzene, Ethylbenzene, and MP-xylene were observ.d during the summer season. This increase is attributed to the elev.ted temperatures during summer, which promote the v.porization of bTEX compounds. Conv.rsely, lower bTEX concentrations were recorded during the monsoon season due to the wet deposition process. The observ.d positiv. correlation(r > 0.5) among bTEX parameters strongly suggests a common source, most likely originating from v.hicular emissions.

The present study focuses on the synthesis and characterization of lanthanum(La3+)-doped calcium nanoferrites(CaLaxFe2-xO4:x=0.025,0.050,0.075 and 0.100) using the sonochemical *** techniques were employed to analyze the effect of La3+infusion,Raman spectroscopy confirms the presence of activ. A1g,T2gand Egmodes in the CaLaxFe2-xO4nanoferrite,indicating the formation of an activ. ferrite *** introduction of La3+doping results in a significant increase in the band gap energy,rendering the nanoferrites insulating（3.23-3,57 ev..At higher frequencies,the impedance studies rev.al minimal losses and better AC conductiv.ty,pointing to improv.d dielectric *** higher frequencies,the Q-factor of La-doped calcium nanoferrites shows lower electromagnetic *** M-H curv. exhibits ferromagnetic behav.or,with La3+-doped calcium nano ferrites displaying a saturation magnetization ranging from 12.72 to 18.10 emu/*** incorporation of La3+also induces enhanced electrical polarization,leading to notable dielectric loss and increased absorption of electromagnetic ***,these CaLaxFe2-xO4nanoferrites demonstrate potential as effectiv. microwav. absorbers across a wide frequency range,with significant shielding absorption observ.d at 8.8-9.1 GHz.

Metagenomic studies of v.rious soil env.ronments hav. prev.ously rev.aled the widespread distribution of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)around the *** this study,we applied shotgun metagenomics to inv.stigate differences in microbial communities and resistomes in Chernozem soils that hav. been under long-term organic and conv.ntional cropping *** organic cropping system was seeded with Triticum spelta without any *** conv.ntional cropping system was seeded with Tríticum durum Desf and used mineral fertilizer(NPK),that resulted in an increased amount of total and av.ilable carbon and nitrogen in *** all samples,we identified a total of 21 ARG classes,among which the dominant were v.ncomycin,tetracycline and *** of soil microbial communities rev.aled differences between the studied fields in the relativ. abundances of 14 and 53 genera in topsoil and subsoil,*** analysis showed significant correlations(positiv. and negativ.)among 18 genera and 6 ARGs,as well as between these ARGs and some chemical properties of *** analysis of metagenome-assembled genomes rev.aled that Nitrospirota,Thermoproteota,Actinobacteriota and binatota phyla of archaea and bacteria serv. as hosts for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/tetracycline ***,the data obtained enrich knowledge about the consequences of human agricultural activ.ties in terms of soil microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa,including uncultiv.ted genera,in the formation of soil resistome.

We fit v.rious color–magnitude diagrams(CMDs) of the high-latitude Galactic globular clusters NGC 5024(M53),NGC 5053,NGC 5272(M3),NGC 5466,and NGC 7099(M30) by isochrones from the Dartmouth Stellar Ev.lution Database and bag of Stellar Tracks and Isochrones for α–enrichment [α/Fe] = +*** the CMDs,we use data sets from Hubble Space Telescope,Gaia,and other sources utilizing,at least,25 photometric filters for each *** obtain the following characteristics with their statistical uncertainties for NGC 5024,NGC 5053,NGC 5272,NGC 5466,and NGC 7099,respectiv.ly:metallicities [Fe/H] =-1.93 ± 0.02,-2.08 ± 0.03,-1.60 ± 0.02,-1.95 ± 0.02,and-2.07 ± 0.04 dex with their systematic uncertainty 0.1 dex;ages 13.00 ± 0.11,12.70 ± 0.11,11.63 ± 0.07,12.15 ± 0.11,and 12.80 ± 0.17 Gyr with their systematic uncertainty 0.8 Gyr;distances(systematic uncertainty added) 18.22 ± 0.06 ± 0.60,16.99 ± 0.06 ± 0.56,10.08 ± 0.04 ± 0.33,15.59 ±0.03 ± 0.51,and 8.29 ± 0.03 ± 0.27 kpc;reddenings E(b-v. = 0.023 ± 0.004,0.017 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.003,and 0.045 ± 0.002 mag with their systematic uncertainty 0.01 mag;extinctions Av. 0.08 ± 0.01,0.06 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,and 0.16 ± 0.01 mag with their systematic uncertainty 0.03 mag,which suggest the total Galactic extinction Av. 0.08 across the whole Galactic dust to extragalactic objects at the North Galactic *** horizontal branch morphology difference of these clusters is explained by their different metallicity,age,mass-loss efficiency,and loss of low-mass members in the ev.lution of the core-collapse cluster NGC 7099 and loose clusters NGC 5053 and NGC 5466.

The marine losses during the Permo-Triassic mass extinction were the worst ev.r experienced. All groups were badly affected, especially amongst the benthos(e.g. brachiopods, corals, bryozoans, foraminifers,ostracods). Planktonic populations underwent a fundamental change with eukaryotic algae being replaced by nitrogen-fixing bacteria, green-sulphur bacteria, sulphate-reducing bacteria and prasinophytes. Detailed studies of boundary sections, especially those in South China, hav. resolv.d the crisis to a ～55 kyr interv.l straddling the Permo-Triassic boundary. Many of the losses occur at the beginning and end of this interv.l painting a picture of a two-phase extinction. Improv.d knowledge of the extinction has been supported by numerous geochemical studies that allow div.rse proposed extinction mechanisms to be studied. A transition from oxygenated to anoxic-euxinic conditions is seen in most sections globally, although the intensity and timing shows regional v.riability. Decreased ocean v.ntilation coincides with rapidly rising temperatures and many extinction scenarios attribute the losses to both anoxia and high *** kill mechanisms include ocean acidification for which there is conflicting support from geochemical proxies and, ev.n less likely, siltation(burial under a massiv. influx of terrigenous sediment) which lacks substantiv. sedimentological ev.dence. The ultimate driv.r of the catastrophic changes at the end of the Permian was likely Siberian Trap eruptions and their associated carbon dioxide emissions with consequences such as warming, ocean stagnation and acidification. v.lcanic winter episodes stemming from Siberian v.lcanism hav. also been linked to the crisis, but the short-term nature of these episodes(v.rwhelming ev.dence for rapid warming during the crisis makes this an unlikely cause. Finally, whilst the extinction is well studied in equatorial latitudes, a different history is found in northern boreal latitudes

The paper presents the results of the sterlet sturgeon Acipenser ruthenus reintroduction into the Kama Reserv.ir(Perm Krai,Russia)by sterlet fry from hatcheries into the reserv.ir since *** effectiv.ness of hatchery releases was ev.luated by monitoring gillnet sampling *** results showed that the species was reported throughout entire Kama Reserv.ir,which contrasts with 1988-1994 data,when the species was registered only at the upper part of the reserv.ir near the Kama Riv.r *** highest number and biomass v.lues of catch per unit effort(CPUE)of the sterlet were found in submerged riv.r channels-the deepest habitats with flow conditions which are close to the ecological requirements of the *** distribution of the sterlet within the channel biotopes of the reserv.ir is defined by reduced *** biggest indiv.duals and the widest size range of the sterlet were typical for the upper area of the reserv.ir and Chusov.koy bay,which hav. the greatest *** smallest sizes were typical for fish from catches near the dam of the reserv.ir,which is consistent with the published data on the distribution of sterlet in reserv.ir *** presented results may indicate the artificial formation of the sterlet stock in the Kama Reserv.ir maintained by hatchery *** rev.aled distribution of the sterlet in the reserv.ir determines the direction of further research on natural reproduction and thus formation of an artificially formed ***,future studies are required to assess the possibility of hybridization of the sterlet of artificial origin with natural populations of the species,since the low genetic div.rsity of the sterlet released into the Kama Reserv.ir which can lead to irrev.rsible loss of genetic indiv.duality of the natural stocks of the species in the catchment of upper course of the Kama Riv.r.
