The a.m of this rev.ew pa.er is to expose a.new sta.e of ma.ter exhibited by strongly correla.ed Fermi systems represented by v.rious hea.0}-fermion （HF） meta.s, two-dimensiona. liquids like 3He, compounds with qua.tum spin liquids, qua.icrysta.s, a.d systems with one-dimensiona. qua.tum spin liquid. We na.e these v.rious systems HF compounds, since they exhibit the beha.0}or typica. of HF meta.s. In HF compounds a. zero tempera.ure the unique pha.e tra.sition, dubbed throughout a. the fermion condensa.ion qua.tum pha.e tra.sition （FCQPT） ca. occur; this FCQPT crea.es fla. ba.ds which in turn lea. to the specific sta.e, known a. the fermion condensa.e. Unlimited increa.e of the effectiv. ma.s of qua.ipa.ticles signifies FCQPT; these qua.ipa.ticles determine the thermodyna.ic, tra.sport a.d rela.a.ion properties of HF compounds. Our discussion of numerous sa.ient experimen- ta. da.a.within the fra.ework of FCQPT resolv.s the mystery of the new sta.e of ma.ter. Thus, FCQPT a.d the fermion condensa.ion ca. be considered a. the univ.rsa. rea.on for the non-Fermi liquid beha.0}or observ.d in v.rious HF compounds. We show a.a.ytica.ly a.d using a.guments ba.ed completely on the experimenta. grounds tha. these systems exhibit univ.rsa. sca.ing beha.0}or of their thermodyna.ic, tra.sport a.d rela.a.ion properties. Therefore, the qua.tum physics of different HF compounds is univ.rsa., a.d emerges rega.dless of the microscopic structure of the compounds. This uniform beha.0}or a.lows us to v.ew it a. the ma.n cha.a.teristic of a.new sta.e of ma.ter exhibited by HF compounds.

We rev.a. a.d expla.n the sca.ing beha.0}or of the thermopower S/T exhibited by the a.chetypa. hea.0}-fermion （HF） meta. YbRh2Si2 under the a.plica.ion of ma.netic field B a. tempera.ure T. We show tha. the sa.e sca.ing is demonstra.ed by different HF compounds such a./3-Yba.B4 a.d the strongly correla.ed la.ered coba.t oxide [BiBa..66K0.3602]CoO2. Using YbRh2Si2 a. a. exa.ple, we demonstra.e tha. the sca.ing beha.0}or of SIT is v.ola.ed a. the a.tiferroma.netic pha.e tra.sition, while both the residua. resistiv.ty Po a.d the density of sta.es, N, experience jumps a. the pha.e tra.sition, ca.sing the thermopower to ma.e two jumps a.d cha.ge its sign. Our elucida.ion is ba.ed on fla.tening of the single-pa.ticle spectrum tha. profoundly a.fects Po a.d N. To depict the ma.n fea.ures of the SIT beha.0}or, we construct a.T-B schema.ic pha.e dia.ra. of YbRh2Si2. Our ca.cula.ed SIT for the HF compounds a.e in good a.reement with experimenta. fa.ts a.d support our observ.tions.
