Mediastinal neoplasms are rare in the elderly,and clinical suspicion is the first and most important step of differential *** tumors can be misdiagnosed because their symptoms or signs can overlap with cardiovascular diseases,which have a higher prevalence among the older *** diagnostic process should be managed with multimodality imaging and clinical ***,the case of a 74-year-old male patient,who presented with shortness of breath,is examined.A chest X-ray revealed an increased cardiothoracic ratio,and he was diagnosed with hemopericardium following an emergent chest computed *** the echocardiography,it was suspected that a hyperechogenic area adjacent to the heart might be due to a mass,and further examinations confirmed a mediastinal neoplasm.A surgical biopsy was performed,and it was determined to be a mesenchymal *** conclude,clinicians should keep in mind the possibility of paracardiac neoplasm in the elderly,as well as in other age groups,when encountering mediastinal widening so that the patient can be protected from unnecessary interventions such as pericardiocentesis.

Against the backdrop of a heavy carbon lock-in energy structure,China has made considerable progress in renewable energy(RE)development and become a world leader in this area within a *** existing research suggests that rapid RE growth is mainly due to the convergence of economic growth,green industry competition,and energy security concerns under a unique state-led model,they oversimplify the difficulty inherent in RE policy shifting supported by formerly weak pro-RE actors in China's historical trajectory of a low-carbon *** exploring the interaction between international and domestic actors by means of a socialization-based coalition-building framework,this paper aims at analyzing how the capacity building of the RE coalition gets enhanced via institutional anchoring and resource reallocation in the climate socialization process and how the strengthened RE coalition has spurred transformation in China's RE policy and the challenges they are confronted with.

Graft-versus-host disease after liver transplantation:A comprehensive literature review

AIM： To determine the factors affecting mortality in pa- tients who developed graft-versus-host disease （GvHD） after liver transplantation （LT）. METHODS： We performed a review of studies of GvHD following LT published in the English literature and ac- cessed the PubMed, Medline, EBSCO, EMBASE, and Google Scholar databases. Using relevant search phras- es, 88 articles were identified. Of these, 62 articles con- raining most of the study parameters were considered eligible for the study. Risk factors were first examined using a univariate Kaplan-Meier model, and variables with a significant association （P 〈 0.05） were then sub- jected to multivariate analyses using a Cox proportional- hazards model. RESULTS： The 61 articles reported 87 patients, 58 male and 29 female, mean age, 40.4 ± 15.5 years （range： 8 mo to 74 years）, who met the inclusion criteria for the present study. Deaths occurred in 59 （67.8%） patients, whereas 28 （32.2%） survived after a mean follow-up period of 280.8 ± 316.2 d （range： 27-2285 d）. Among the most frequent symptoms were rash （94.2%）, fever （66.6%）, diarrhea （54%）, and pancytopenia （54%）. The average time period between LT and first symptom on- set was 60.6 ± 190.1 d （range： 2-1865 d）. The Kaplan- Meier analysis revealed that pancytopenia （42.8% vs 59.3%, P = 0.03）, diarrhea （39.2% vs 61.0%, P = 0.04）, age difference between the recipient and the donor （14.6 ± 3.1 years vs 22.6 ± 2.7 years, P 〈 0.0001）, and time From first symptom occurrence to diagnosis or treatment （13.3 ± 2.6 mo vs 15.0 ± 2.3 mo, P 〈 0.0001） were significant factors affecting mortality, whereas age, sex, presence of rash and fever, use of immunosuppressive agents, acute rejection before GvHD, etiological causes, time of onset, and donor type were not associated with mortality risk. Solar air heaters are at the centre of interest owing to their widespread use for various *** the study,thermal performance analysis of a solar air heater that can be easily produced from daily waste materials is *** system has a low-cost structure with both waste material use and a simple *** proposed system is tested under different climatic conditions,and the energetic and the exergetic performance figures are obtained for the first time in *** is observed from the experimental tests that the results are stable and coherent as well as in good accordance with the similar attempts in literature with some cost reductions and performance *** performance analyses indicate that the maximum energy efficiency of the system is about 21%,whereas the exergy efficiency is 1.8%.The energetic and exergetic outputs of the system are also determined to be 27 W and 3 W,respectively,which is promising.

The objective of this paper is to demonstrate necessity to inform relevant parties about engineering-geological conditions for various practical purposes, especially including appropriate land-use planning. However, the relationship between relevant geological information and the geological environment is vital for foundation engineering purposes, especially where demanding structures are involved. This information is most conveniently structured when accumulated information concerning engineering-geological zones is utilized. This necessarily includes knowledge of rock workability and also of the pre-Quaternary bedrock, and these characteristics were then related to the current built-up area and future development according to the land-use plans in a case study are from the Petrvald Region （Czech Republic）. The geological environment of area has been severely influenced by anthropogenic effects of deep black coal mining. Results of this research showed that future development should be founded on spoil banks, dumps, and settling basins. According to the land-use plan, this zone occupies 44.9% of the area of interest, and its materials predominantly emanate from mining in the Ostrava-Karvina Coal District. For future foundation structures planned there, it is imperative to consult detailed engineering-geological study. However, attention to and reliance on this necessity is not reflected in the existing land-use plan.

Studies on differentiation of ensimatic arc units from melange units in the Northern Anatolian Ophiolitic Belt(NAOB) are very rare. The study area represents the southern edge of the central part of the *** aim of the study is to distinguish the main units of NAOB and to define the geotectonic setting of the Darmik Ensimatic Arc Association(DEAA). To study the ensimatic arc units as an independent tectonic unit is important and facilitates understanding of the geological evolution of the NAOB. During field studies, the contact relationships within the Darmik Ensimatic Arc Association(DEAA) units and also with other tectonic units were reviewed. Then, paleontological, geochronological, petrological and also geochemical properties of the DEAA have been defined. In the present study, ensimatic arc units have been distinguished from ophiolitic association for the first time, in the region. As a result of the study, the DEAA is divided into two levels and lower level named as the Kartal unit and upper level named as the izibüyük unit. In the Kartal unit, basaltic and andesitic lavas with their equivalent pyroclastic rock units are dominant. Radiolarite and mudstones interbedded within the Kartal unit of DEAA have Turonian and Santonian age. In addition, the age of basalt samples of DEAA are 98.7 ± 2.4 Ma, defined using the^(40)Ar/39 Ar method. The izibüyük unit of DEAA comprises conglomerate, sandstone, claystone, mudstone,clayey limestone, micritic limestone with volcanic interbeds and also calciturbidites. Santonian-Maastrichtian ages were obtained from this unit of the DEAA. In conclusion, the age of DEAA is widely accepted as Late Cretaceous. After the evaluation of the analysis, the volcanics of the DEAA originated from calcalkaline-basalts, which reflect ensimatic arc magmatism.
