An approximate analytical model for unconventional reservoir considering variable matrix blocks and simultaneous matrix depletion

In regard to unconventional oil reservoirs,the transient dual-porosity and triple-porosity models have been adopted to describe the fluid flow in the complex fracture *** has been proven to cause inaccurate production evaluations because of the absence of matrix-macrofracture *** addition,most of the existing models are solved analytically based on Laplace transform and numerical ***,an approximate analytical solution is derived directly in real-time space considering variable matrix blocks and simultaneous matrix *** simplify the derivation,the simultaneous matrix depletion is divided into two parts:one part feeding the macrofractures and the other part feeding the ***,a series of partial differential equations(PDEs)describing the transient flow and boundary conditions are constructed and solved analytically by ***,a relationship between oil rate and production time in real-time space is *** new model is verified against classical analytical *** the microfracture system and matrix-macrofracture communication is neglected,the result of the new model agrees with those obtained with the dual-porosity and triple-porosity model,***,the new model also has an excellent agreement with the numerical *** model is then applied to two actual tight oil wells completed in western Canada sedimentary *** identifying the flow regime,the solution suitably matches the field production data,and the model parameters are *** these output parameters,we can accurately forecast the production and even estimate the petrophysical properties.

Interpretable data-driven fault diagnosis method for data centers with composite air conditioning system

Fault detection and diagnosis are essential to the air conditioning system of the data center for elevating reliability and reducing energy *** study proposed a convolutional neural network(CNN)based data-driven fault detection and diagnosis model considering temporal dependency for composite air conditioning system that is capable of cooling the high heat flux in data *** input of fault detection and diagnosis model was an unsteady dataset generated by the experimentally validated transient mathematical *** dataset concerned three typical faults,including refrigerant leakage,evaporator fan breakdown,and condenser ***,the CNN model was trained to construct a map between the input and system operating ***,the performance of the CNN model was validated by comparing it with the support vector machine and the neural ***,the score-weighted class mapping activation method was utilized to interpret model diagnosis mechanisms and to identify key input features in various operating *** results demonstrated in the pump-driven heat pipe mode,the accuracy of the CNN model was 99.14%,increasing by around 8.5%compared with the other two *** the vapor compression mode,the accuracy of the CNN model achieved 99.9%and declined the miss rate of refrigerant leakage by at least 61%*** score-weighted class mapping activation results indicated the ambient temperature and the actuator-related parameters,such as compressor frequency in vapor compression mode and condenser fan frequency in pump-driven heat pipe mode,were essential features in system fault detection and diagnosis.

Predicting PM_(2.5) Concentration in the Yangtze River Delta Region Using Climate System Monitoring Indices and Machine Learning

Changing meteorological conditions during autumn and winter have considerable impact on air quality in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)*** climatic factors,such as sea surface temperature and sea ice,together with the atmospheric circulation,directly affect meteorological conditions in the YRD region,thereby modulating the variation in atmospheric PM_(2.5) *** study used the evolutionary modeling machine learning technique to investigate the lag relationship between 144 climate system monitoring indices and autumn/winter PM_(2.5) concentration over 0-12 months in the YRD *** calculating the contribution ratios and lagged correlation coefficients of all indices over the previous 12 months,the top 36 indices were selected for model ***,the nine indices that contributed most to the PM_(2.5) concentration in the YRD region,including the decadal oscillation index of the Atlantic Ocean and the consistent warm ocean temperature index of the entire tropical Indian Ocean,were selected for physical mechanism *** evolutionary model was developed to forecast the average PM_(2.5) concentration in major cities of the YRD in autumn and winter,with a correlation coefficient of *** model testing,the correlation coefficient between the predicted and observed PM_(2.5) concentrations was in the range of 0.73-0.83 and the root-mean-square error was in the range of 9.5-11.6μg m-3,indicating high predictive *** model performed exceptionally well in capturing abnormal changes in PM_(2.5) concentration in the YRD region up to 50 days in advance.

Economic Risk Assessment of Future Debris Flows by Machine Learning Method

A reliable economic risk map is critical for effective debris-flow ***,the uncertainties surrounding future scenarios in debris-flow frequency and magnitude restrict its *** estimate the economic risks caused by future debris flows,a machine learning-based method was proposed to generate an economic risk map by multiplying a debris-flow hazard map and an economic vulnerability *** selected the Gyirong Zangbo Basin as the study area because frequent severe debris flows impact the area every *** debris-flow hazard map was developed through the multiplication of the annual probability of spatial impact,temporal probability,and annual *** employed a hybrid machine learning model-certainty factor-genetic algorithm-support vector classification-to calculate ***,a Poisson model was applied for temporal probabilities,while the determination of annual probability of spatial impact relied on statistical ***,four major elements at risk were selected for the generation of an economic loss map:roads,vegetation-covered land,residential buildings,and *** economic loss of elements at risk was calculated based on physical vulnerabilities and their economic ***,we proposed a physical vulnerability matrix for residential buildings,factoring in impact pressure on buildings and their horizontal distance and vertical distance to debrisflow *** this context,an ensemble model(XGBoost) was used to predict debris-flow volumes to calculate impact pressures on *** results show that residential buildings occupy 76.7% of the total economic risk,while roadcovered areas contribute approximately 6.85%.Vegetation-covered land and farmland collectively represent 16.45% of the entire *** findings can provide a scientific support for the effective mitigation of future debris flows.

RNPS1 stabilizes NAT10 protein to facilitate translation in cancer via tRNA ac^(4)C modification

Existing studies have underscored the pivotal role of N-acetyltransferase 10(NAT10) in various cancers. However, the outcomes of protein-protein interactions between NAT10 and its protein partners in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC) remain unexplored. In this study, we identified a significant upregulation of RNA-binding protein with serine-rich domain 1(RNPS1) in HNSCC, where RNPS1 inhibits the ubiquitination degradation of NAT10 by E3 ubiquitin ligase, zinc finger SWIM domain-containing protein 6(ZSWIM6), through direct protein interaction, thereby promoting high NAT10 expression in HNSCC. This upregulated NAT10 stability mediates the enhancement of specific tRNA ac^(4)C modifications, subsequently boosting the translation process of genes involved in pathways such as IL-6 signaling, IL-8 signaling, and PTEN signaling that play roles in regulating HNSCC malignant progression, ultimately influencing the survival and prognosis of HNSCC patients. Additionally, we pioneered the development of TRMC-seq, leading to the discovery of novel t RNA-ac^(4)C modification sites, thereby providing a potent sequencing tool for tRNAac^(4)C research. Our findings expand the repertoire of tRNA ac^(4)C modifications and identify a role of tRNA ac^(4)C in the regulation of mRNA translation in HNSCC.

Synthesis of granulated Li_(1.33)Mn_(1.67)O_(4) via two antisolvent methods for lithium adsorption from gas-produced water

Gas-produced water is an accompanying wastewater in the natural gas extraction process,and it is a potential liquid lithium resource that contains a considerable amount of *** study investigated the feasibility of using manganese-based ion sieves to adsorb and extract lithium from gas-produced *** we focused on the applicability of two different granulation methods,extrusion and droplet,in gas-produced water *** types of H_(1.33)Mn_(1.67)O_(4) particles were prepared by the extrusion method(EHMO)and the droplet method(DHMO).The porosity of DHMO was much higher than that of EHMO,and the adsorption performance of DHMO increased with the decrease of binder *** prepared with a binder concentration of 0.14 g·ml^(-1)exhibited the best adsorption performance in gas-produced water,and the Li^(+)adsorption capacity could reach 25.14 mg·g^(-1).In gas-produced water,the adsorption equilibrium of DHMO only took 9 h,and the adsorption process conformed to the Langmuir model and pseudo-second-order kinetic *** pore diffusion model(PDM)could well describe its adsorption ***,DHMO showed a great selectivity to Li^(+),and the selectivity order of DHMO in gas-produced water was Li^(+)>Ba^(2+)>>Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),Sr^(2+)>>Na^(+)>>K^(+).After 20 cycles,the Li^(+)adsorption capacity was still higher than 17.30 mg·g^(-1),and the rate of manganese dissolution was less than 1%.

High-yield production of porous carbon spheres derived from enzymatic hydrolysis lignin for zinc ion hybrid capacitors

The widespread implementation of supercapacitors is hindered by the limited energy density and the pricey porous carbon electrode *** cost of porous carbon is a significant factor in the overall cost of supercapacitors,therefore a high carbon yield could effectively mitigate the production cost of porous *** study proposes a method to produce porous carbon spheres through a spray drying technique combined with a carbonization process,utilizing renewable enzymatic hydrolysis lignin as the carbon source and KOH as the activation *** purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the quantity of activation agent and the development of morphology,pore structure,and specific surface area of the obtained porous carbon *** demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances the carbon yield of porous carbon,achieving a yield of 22%in contrast to the conventional carbonization-activation method(9%).The samples acquired through this method were found to contain a substantial amount of mesopores,with an average pore size of 1.59 to 1.85 nm and a mesopore ratio of 25.6%.Additionally,these samples showed high specific surface areas,ranging from 1051 to 1831 m2·g^(−1).Zinc ion hybrid capacitors with lignin-derived porous carbon cathode exhibited a high capacitance of 279 F·g^(−1) at 0.1 A·g^(−1) and an energy density of 99.1 Wh·kg^(−1) when the power density was 80 kW·kg^(−1).This research presents a novel approach for producing porous carbons with high yield through the utilization of a spray drying approach.

We demonstrate a low-noise,high-gain,and large-dynamic-range photodetector(PD)based on a junction field-effect transistor(JFET)and a charge amplifier for the measurement of quantum noise in Bell-state detection(BSD).Particular photodiode junction capacitance allows the silicon N-channel JFET 2sk152 to be matched to the noise requirement for charge amplifier *** electronic noise of the PD is effectively suppressed and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is up to 15 dB at the analysis frequency of 2.75 MHz for a coherent laser power of 50.08µ*** combining of the inductor and capacitance,the alternating current(AC)and direct current(DC)branches of the PD can operate linearly in a dynamic range from 25.06µW to 17.50 *** PD can completely meet the requirements of SNR and dynamic range for BSD in quantum optics experiments.

As the latest research direction of train-to-train communication,virtual coupling train formation technology has attracted the attention of many *** paper studies the influence of time delay on the formation of virtual coupled *** proposed a distributed PID controller,which means that trains can still form a stable fleet operation under the influence of communication delay and control *** modelling and analysis,the research uses Matlab to conduct simulation,involving two sets of *** including speed,acceleration,position,position error,expected distance between adjacent trains and actual distance between adjacent trains are *** results demonstrate that the distributed PID controller can effectively control the impact of time delay on the virtual coupling fleet.
