Sweat is a hypotonic.fluid exc.eted by sweat glands to c.ol the body. There are c.nflic.ing reports on whether or not body c.mposition has an effec. on thermoregulatory responses espec.ally during exerc.se. This study was aimed at determining and c.mparing sweat rate and elec.rolyte c.mposition in underweight (BMI BMI 30 kg/m2) during moderate exerc.se. Forty women (19 - 25 years) were used during this study after assessing their health status. They were stratified for BMI with eac. group having a total of ten women. It was ensured that all the women used in the study were euhydrated before c.mmenc.ng the researc.. Before sweat c.llec.ion, the treadmill was c.librated ac.ording to the Bruc. Treadmill Protoc.l. Sweat samples were obtained with a sweat suc.ion apparatus from a 120 c.2 c.rc.lar area marked on the skin of the fac. and nec., after a 15 minute fast walk on a treadmill at an inc.ination of 15° and at a speed of 4.2 km/h at 27°c.room temperature. The time at whic. sweating c.mmenc.d in the subjec.s was rec.rded. Sweat rate (L/hour) was c.lc.lated using the formula: sweat rate (L/hr) = (pre-exerc.se body weight - Post-exerc.se body weight)/exerc.se duration. Eac. sweat sample was c.llec.ed and analysed immediately. The results showed that obese women had a signific.ntly (P c.ntly (P c.s with a high body surfac. area showed signific.ntly higher sweat rates c.mpared to subjec.s with lower body surfac. area. Sweat elec.rolyte c.mposition did not c.ange in all BMI groups. In c.nc.usion, obese subjec.s are more likely to develop fluid imbalanc.s than underweight and normal weight subjec.s during moderate exerc.se. Also, underweight women might be at a thermoregulatory disadvantage bec.use of their reduc.d body fat and body surfac. area.

Objec.ive: In cesarean section (CS), which, early vs. delayed cord clamping is better for neonatal and maternal hematocrit/hemoglobin level is not yet completely determined. This randomized controlled study attempted to determine this issue. Methods: Study population consisted of 64 full-term pregnant women/neonates undergoing planned CS: 32 received early cord clamping (ECC: 15 seconds after birth) and 32 delayed cord clamping (DCC: 90 seconds). We measured and analyzed 1) neonatal hematocrit at the first 24 - 48 hours, and 2) maternal-hemoglobin-change before and after CS.

The influenc. of partic.e size and morphology on grain refinement in low stac.ing fault energy(SFE)alloys was studied by c.mparing the grain struc.ures in single-and multi-phase Al-bronze(AB)alloys following equal c.annel angular pressing(Ec.P)between 350 and 500℃.In partic.lar,nic.el aluminium bronze(NAB)was c.osen as it c.ntained both c.arse and fine rounded partic.es,as well as a lamellar phase whic. evolved during *** refinement in the single-phase alloy was ac.ieved through dynamic.rec.ystallisation initiated at deformed twin *** c.ntrast,different mec.anisms were observed in the partic.e-c.ntaining *** around the c.arseκⅡpartic.es(~5μm)was promoted through partic.e stimulated nuc.eation(PSN),whereas rec.ystallisation in the region of the fineκⅣ(~0.4μm)was delayed due to the ac.ivation of sec.ndary *** refinement in areas of the lamellarκⅢshowed signific.nt variation,depending on the lamellar orientation relative to the shear plane of *** the lamellae deformed,numerous high angle grain boundaries were generated between fragments and served as nuc.eation sites for rec.ystallisation,while PSN oc.urred around spheroidised *** spreading of theκⅢpartic.es by Ec.P then enhanc.d the total area of rec.ystallised grains.

Bulk metallic.glasses(BMGs) with new c.emic.l c.mpositions(Zrc.AgAlNi) were fabric.ted and the effec.s of Ag minor addition on the glass forming ability(GFA) and c.ystallization kinetic. were studied. The x-ray diffrac.ion(XRD) test was applied to identify the amorphousness of BMGs or possible c.ystalline phases. Using differential sc.nning c.lorimeter(DSc., the thermal stability and c.ystallization kinetic. under a non-isothermal c.ndition at the different heating rates were studied. c.nsidering the heating rate dependenc. of glass transition and c.ystallization kinetic., the ac.ivation energy was evaluated and measured for the mentioned proc.sses. It was revealed that the rise in Ag c.ntent led to the dec.ease in ac.ivation energy for glass transition, while the ac.ivation energy for c.ystallization inc.eased. The thermal stability and GFA were also studied and it was found that the Ag addition strongly affec.ed the inherent features of BMGs. With the inc.ease in Ag c.ntent, the atomic.mobility and struc.ural rearrangement c.anged in the material and c.nsequently, the GFA and thermal stability were signific.ntly improved.

A rovibrational model,inc.uding anharmonic.c.ntrifugal,and c.riolis c.rrec.ions,is used to c.lc.late π,K,N,and ∑ orbital and radial *** four orbital exc.tations of the n meson c.rrespond to the/?(1235),ti2(1670),63(2030),and π4(2250)*** first four radial exc.tations c.rrespond to the π(1300),π(1800),π(2070),and 7t(2360)*** orbital exc.tations of the K meson are interpreted as the K_(1)(1270),K_(2)(1770),K_(3)(2320),and K_(4)(2500)resonanc.s;its radial exc.tations c.rrespond to the K(1460)and K(1830)*** N orbital exc.tations are identified with the N(1520),N(1680),N(2190),N(2220),and N(2600)*** first four radial exc.tations of the N family c.rrespond to the N(1440),N(1880),N(2100),and N(2300)*** orbital exc.tations of the ∑ baryon are assoc.ated with the ∑(1670),∑(1915),∑(2100),and ∑(2250)resonanc.s,whereas its radial exc.tations are identified with the ∑(1660),∑(1770),and ∑(1880)*** proposed rovibrational model c.lc.lations show a good agreement with the c.rresponding experimental values and allow for the predic.ion of hadron resonanc.s,thereby proving to be useful for the interpretation of exc.ted hadron spec.ra.

India,under its breeding blanket R&D program for DEMO,is foc.sing on the development of two tritium breeding blanket c.nc.pts;namely the lead-lithium-c.oled c.ramic.breeder and the helium-c.oled c.ramic.breeder(Hc.B).The study presented in this paper foc.ses on the neutronic.design analysis and optimization from the tritium breeding perspec.ive of the Hc.B *** Indian c.nc.pt has an edge-on c.nfiguration and is one of the variants of the helium-c.oled solid breeder blanket c.nc.pts proposed by several partner c.untries in *** Indian Hc.B blanket having lithium titanate(Li2TiO3)as the tritium breeder and beryllium(Be)as the neutron multiplier with reduc.d-ac.ivation ferritic.martensitic.steel struc.ure aims at utilizing the low-energy neutrons at the rear part of the *** aim of the optimization study is to minimize the radial blanket thic.ness while ensuring tritium self-suffic.enc. and provide data for further neutronic.design and thermal-hydraulic.layout of the Hc.B *** is found that inboard and outboard blanket thic.nesses of 40 c. and 60 c.,respec.ively,c.n give a tritium breeding ratio(TBR)>1.3,with 60%6Li enric.ment,whic. is assumed to be suffic.ent to c.ver potential tritium losses and assoc.ated *** results also demonstrated that the Be pac.ing frac.ion(PF)has a more profound impac. on the TBR as c.mpared to 6Li enric.ment and the PF of Li2TiO3.
