The cumulative effects of per.odic r.dox cycling on the mobility of As,Fe,and S fr.m alluvial sediment to gr.undwater.wer. investigated in bior.actor.*** par.icular.sediments fr.m the alluvial floodplain of the Mekong Delta r.ver.wer. investigated: Matr.x A (14 m deep) had a higher.pyr.te concentr.tion than matr.x B (7 m deep) *** pr.sent in matr.x B but absent in matr.x *** the r.actor.,the sediment suspensions wer. supplemented with As(III) and SO4^2-,and wer. subjected to thr.e full-r.dox cycles entailing phases of nitr.gen/CO2,compr.ssed air.spar.ing,and cellobiose *** differ.nces in As concentr.tion and speciation wer. obser.ed upon r.dox *** suppor. the fact that initial sediment composition is the main factor.contr.lling ar.enic r.lease and its speciation dur.ng the r.dox ***,a high pyr.te content associated with a low SO4^2- content r.sulted in an incr.ase in dissolved As concentr.tions,mainly in the for. of As(III),after.anoxic half-cycles;wher.as a decr.ase in As concentr.tions mainly in the for. of As(V),was instead obser.ed after.oxic *** addition,oxic conditions wer. found to be r.sponsible for.pyr.te and ar.enian pyr.te oxidation,incr.asing the As pool available for.*** same pr.cesses seem to occur.in sediment with the pr.sence of gypsum,but,in this case,dissolved As wer. sequester.d by biotic or.abiotic r.dox r.actions occur.ing in the FeeS system,and by specific physico-chemical condition (***).The contr.sting r.sults obtained for.two sediments sampled fr.m the same cor. show that many complexes and entangled factor. ar. at wor.,and fur.her.r.finement is needed to explain the spatial and tempor.l var.ability of As r.lease to gr.undwater.of the Mekong r.ver.Delta (Vietnam).

1955年,美国首次应用了脊髓灰质炎灭活疫苗(IPV),1955～1961年共接种4亿多剂疫苗,使脊髓灰质炎的发病数从1954年的18,308例(11.4/10万)降至1961年的988例(0.5/10万)。1961年开始使用单价口服脊髓灰质炎活疫苗(OPV),1963年又广泛使用三价OPV,美国脊髓灰质炎发病率继续降低,IPV的使用量迅速减少到目前水平,即低于脊髓灰质炎疫苗总使用量的1%。目前,美国仅1家疫苗制造厂销售IPV,而且在过去的20年中,对现行产品的研究甚少。新近由制造商获得的资料证实,目前推荐的从2月龄开始接种4剂IPV的程序可在87～97%的1

Objective： Pr.mar. uter.ne leiomyosar.omas （ULMS） ar. r.r., and the optimal tr.atment is contr.ver.ial. We aimed to assess the outcome and pr.gnostic factor. in a multicenter.population of women tr.ated for.pr.mar. ULMS. Methods： We r.tr.spectively collected data of 110 women tr.ated in 19 institutions of the r.r. Cancer.Networ. （r.N）. Inclusion cr.ter.a consisted of a pathology r.por. confir.ing the diagnosis of ULMS, aged 18-80 year., complete Inter.ational Feder.tion of Gynecology and Obstetr.cs （FIGO） stage infor.ation, complete infor.ation on tr.atment, and a minimum follow-up of 6 months. Local contr.l （LC） and locor.gional contr.l （Lr.）, over.ll sur.ival （OS） and disease-fr.e sur.ival （DFS） r.tes wer. computed using the Kaplan-Meier.method. Univar.ate analysis was implemented using the log r.nk test, and multivar.ate analysis using the Cox model. r.sults： All patients under.ent sur.er.. Seventy-five patients （68%） r.ceived adjuvant r.diother.py （r.）, including br.chyther.py in 18 （I 6%）. Seventeen patients （15 %） r.ceived adjuvant chemother.py. Median follow-up was 58 （r.nge, 6-240） months. Five-year.OS and DFS r.tes wer. 50% and 34%, and LC and Lr. r.tes wer. 88% and 72%, r.spectively. On multivar.ate analysis, independent favor.ble pr.gnostic factor. wer. younger.age, FIGO stage I, small tumor.size, pr.vious uter.ne disease, and no vascular.invasion for.OS and DFS. FIGO stage was the only favor.ble factor.influencing Lr.. Adjuvant local or.systemic tr.atments did not impr.ve the outcomes. Eight patients tr.ated with r. pr.sented a gr.de 3 acute toxicity, and only one patient with gr.de 3 late toxicity. Conclusions： In this lar.e population of pr.mar. ULMS patients, we found good r.sults in ter.s of LC and Lr.. Never.heless, OS r.mains poor. mainly due to the occur.ence of distant metastases.
