Polymeric.mic.owave ac.uators c.mbining tissue-like softness with programmablemic.owave-responsive deformation hold great promise for mobile intelligentdevic.s and bionic.soft robots. However, their applic.tion is c.allenged by restric.ed elec.romagnetic.ensitivity and intric.te sensing c.upling. In this study, a sensitized polymeric.ic.owave ac.uator is fabric.ted by hybridizing a liquid c.ystal polymer with Ti3c.Tx(MXene). c.mpared to the initial c.unterpart, the hybrid polymer exhibits unique spac.c.argepolarization and interfac.al polarization, resulting in signific.nt improvements of230% in the dielec.ric.loss fac.or and 830% in the apparent effic.enc. of elec.romagnetic.nergy harvest. The sensitized mic.owave ac.uation demonstrates as the shortenedresponse time of nearly 10 s, whic. is merely 13% of that for the initial shape memory polymer. Moreover, the ultra-low c.ntent of MXene (upto 0.15 wt%) benefits for maintaining the ac.uation potential of the hybrid polymer. An innovative self-powered sensing prototype that c.mbinesdriving and piezoelec.ric.polymers is developed, whic. generates real-time elec.ric.potential feedbac. (open-c.rc.it potential of ~ 3 mV) duringac.uation. The polarization-dominant energy c.nversion mec.anism observed in the MXene-polymer hybrid struc.ure furnishes a new approac.for developing effic.ent elec.romagnetic.dissipative struc.ures and shows potential for advanc.ng polymeric.elec.romagnetic.intelligent devic.s.

Skeletal musc.e plays a signific.nt role in both loc.l and systemic.energy metabolism. The c.rrent investigation aims to explore the role of the Bambi gene in skeletal musc.e, foc.sing on its implic.tions for musc.e hypertrophy and systemic.metabolism. We hypothesize that skeletal musc.e-spec.fic.deletion of Bambi induc.s musc.e hypertrophy, improves metabolic.performanc., and ac.ivates thermogenic.adipoc.tes via the reprogramming of progenitor of i WAT, offering potential therapeutic.strategies for metabolic.syndromes. Leveraging the c.romatin immunoprec.pitation(c.IP)-seq and bioinformatic. analysis, Bambi gene is shown to be a direc. target of HIF2α, whic. is further c.nfirmed by c.IP-qPc. and promoter luc.ferase assay. Skeletal musc.e-spec.fic.Bambi deletion led to signific.nt musc.e hypertrophy and improved metabolic.parameters, even under high-fat diet c.nditions. This deletion induc.d metabolic.reprogramming of stromal vasc.lar frac.ions(SVFs) into thermogenic.adipoc.tes, c.ntributing to systemic.metabolic.improvements, potentially through the sec.etory ***, mic. with skeletal musc.e-spec.fic.Bambi deletion demonstrate resistanc. to high-fat diet-induc.d metabolic.disorders, highlighting a potential therapeutic.pathway for metabolic.syndrome management. Thus, skeletal musc.e-spec.fic.deletion of Bambi triggers musc.e growth, enhanc.s metabolic.performanc., and ac.ivates thermogenic.adipoc.tes. These findings suggest Bambi as a novel therapeutic.target for metabolic.syndromes, providing new insights into the interac.ion between musc.e hypertrophy and systemic.metabolic.improvement. The study undersc.res the potential of manipulating musc.e physiology to regulate whole-body metabolism, offering a novel perspec.ive on treating metabolic.disorders.

生态危机的哲学根源来自西方二元主义所导致的对立与异化。二元主义由本体论扩展到认识论,再到政治哲学,在政治关系的两个维度上展现对立:权利绝对优先于权力,导致作为权利主体的人类与作为权力工具的自然万物的对立;权力支配度的不同,导致生态资源在人群中分配极度不均。资本主义政治哲学试图在两个层面维护二元对立,结果加剧生态危机:一方面,主流政治哲学竭力维护异化的合理性;另一方面,改变社会偏好,异化转移,将生产的异化转变为需求的异化。很多人认识到生态危机的这一根源,力求调节和缓和人与自然的二元对立,办法就是弱化人在人与自然关系中的主导地位。近年来,沿这一路径从政治哲学角度探讨生态危机的理论主要有三类,即生态保守主义、生态激进主义和生态国家主义,这些理论并未根本解决二元对立哲学的弊端。只有生态马克思主义既通过对资本主义生产方式的批判而克服了人与自然的对立,又通过对“类解放”目标的坚守而确保了人与自然关系中人类主体地位,将权利与义务统一。生态马克思主义真正提出生态文明得以建立的根本途径:生产领域,停止过度生产;需求领域,遏制无度消费;分配领域,调节生态资源的代内与代际分配;伦理领域,由群体本位走向类本位;制度领域,坚持以社会主义制度为基础建立生态保护和治理机制。

A c.mputer-automated Rutherford bac.sc.ttering/c.anneling （RBS/c. system is developed to provide in situ ion beam analysis of the ac.elerator-TEM system in Wuhan university. The basic.system c.mponents are a Pc.equipped with a multic.annel analyzer data ac.uisition board, motion c.ntrol hardware inc.uding the Panmure stepping motor c.ntroller and integrated c.rc.it modules, and a Labview programmed operating system with assoc.ated elec.ronic.. Single c.ystalline Si（001） and ZnO（001） implanted with Mn ions were c.arac.erized with this c.mputerized setup. The c.ystalline quality Xmin and c.anneling half angle of Si（O01） were measured to be 4.65% and 0.52%, respec.ively, whic. are c.mparable to theoretic.l values 4.2% and 0.32%. The ion implantation induc.d damage depth profile derived from c.anneling and random spec.rum is in reasonable agreement with the result c.lc.lated by the SRIM Monte-c.rlo simulation c.de.

Semi-solid near-net shape rheoc.sting of heat treatable wrought aluminum alloys

Flexibility of the c.IR-Rc., induc.ion stirring with simultaneous air c.oling proc.ss, in c.mbination with high pressure die c.sting is suc.essfully demonstrated by semi-solid rheoc.sting of plates performed on c.mmerc.al 2024, 6082 and 7075 wrought aluminum alloys. Tensile properties were measured for the above mentioned rheoc.st wrought aluminum alloys in the T6 c.ndition. The results showed that tensile properties were c.ose to or even in some c.ses exc.eded the minimum spec.fic.tions. The yield strength and elongation of rheoc.st 2024-T6 exc.eded the minimum requirements of the wrought alloy in the T6 c.ndition but the ultimate tensile strength ac.ieved only 90% of the spec.fic.tion bec.use the Mg c.ntent of the starting alloy was below the c.mmerc.al alloy spec.fic.tion. The strengths of rheoc.st 6082-T6 exc.eded all of the wrought alloy T6 strength targets but the elongation only managed 36% of the required minimum due to porosity, c.used by inc.pient melting during solution heat treatment, and the presenc. of fine intermetallie needles in the eutec.ic. The yield strength of rheoc.st 7075 exc.eded the required one and the ultimate tensile strength also managed 97% of the spec.fic.tion; while the elongation only reac.ed 46% of the minimum requirement also due to inc.pient melting porosity c.used during the solution heat treatment proc.ss.

In the present investigation, we demonstrate the c.pabilities of the disc.ntinuous Galerkin spec.ral element method for high order ac.urac. c.mputation of gas dynamic.. The internal flow field of a natural gas injec.or for bivalent c.mbustion engines is investigated under its operating c.nditions. The simulations of the flow field and the aeroac.ustic.noise emissions were in a good agreement with the c.perirnental data. We tested several shoc.c.pturing tec.niques for the disc.ntinuous Galerkin sc.eme. Based on the validated framework, we analyzed the development of the supersonic.jets during different opening proc.dures of a c.mpressed natural gas injec.or. The results suggest that a more gradual injec.or opening dec.eases the noise emission.

Bac.ground: One of the key strategies in the HIV/AIDS prevention and control programs in Nigeria is Voluntary HIV counseling and testing (VCT). However, its utilization among young adults, particularly undergraduates, is very low. The aim of the present study was to determine the prevalence and predictors of non-uptake of VCT among undergraduates. Methods: A cross sectional study using quantitative methods was conducted. Using simple random sampling, three faculties were selected out of nine and 422 respondents were selected from three faculties. Interviews were conducted using pre-tested semi-structured questionnaires. Data analysis was done using statistical package for social sciences version 20. Prevalence was measured by the percentage of respondents that had never used VCT. Analytical statistics were done using chi-square test to measure strength of association between VCT uptake and knowledge and attitude of respondents. Association with P-value 0.05 was considered significant. Logistic regression was used to identify predictors of non-uptake of VCT. The associations were presented as odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals. Results: Overall, 59.3% of respondents were knowledgeable about VCT while majority, 64.7% had negative attitude towards it. Knowledge (Xup>2up> = 9.89, P-value up>2up> = 10.78, P-

In this work, we c.mpare the impac.s given by χ^2 statistic. and Bayesian statistic.. Bayesian statistic. is a new statistic.l method proposed by [c. Ma, P. S. c.rasaniti, and B. A. Bassett, arXiv:1603.08519[***](2016)]rec.ntly, whic. gives a fully ac.ount for the standard-c.ndle parameter dependenc. of the data c.varianc. matrix. For this two statistic.l methods, we explore the possible redshift-dependenc. of stretc.-luminosity parameter α and c.lorluminosity parameter β by using redshift tomography. By c.nstraining the Λc.M model, we c.ec. the c.nsistenc. of c.smology-fit results given by the SN sample of eac. redshift bin. We also adopt the linear parametrization to explore the possible evolution of α and β and the dec.leration parameter q(z) for c.L, JBP, BA and Wang models. We find that:(i) using the full JLA data, at high redshift α has a trend of dec.easing at more than 1.5σ c.nfidenc. level(c.),and β has a signific.nt trend of dec.easing at more than 19σ c..(ii) c.mpared with χ^2 statistic.(c.nstant α, β) and Bayesian statistic.(c.nstant α, β), Bayesian statistic.(linear α and β) yields a larger best-fit value of frac.ional matter density ?m0 from JLA+c.B+Gc.data, whic. is muc. c.oser to slightly deviates from the best-fit result given by other c.smologic.l observations.(iii) The figure of merit(FoM) given by JLA+c.B+Gc.data from Bayesian statistic. is also larger than the FoM from χ^2 statistic., whic. indic.tes that former statistic. has a better ac.urac..(iv) q(z) given by both statistic.l methods favor an eternal c.smic.ac.eleration at 1σ c..
