Methane decomposition reaction has been studied at three different activation temperatures（500℃,800℃ and950℃）over mesoporous alumina supported Ni–Fe and Mn–Fe based bimetallic *** co-impregnation of Ni on Fe/Al2O3the activity of the catalyst was retained even at the high activation temperature at 950℃ and up to180 *** Ni promotion enhanced the reducibility of Fe/Al2O3oxides showing higher catalytic activity with a hydrogen yield of 69%.The reactivity of bimetallic Mn and Fe over Al2O3catalyst decreased at 800℃ and 950℃ activation *** studies revealed that the catalyst could be effectively recycled up to *** addition of O2（1 ml,2 ml,4 ml）in the feed enhanced substantially Ch4conversion,the yield of hydrogen and the stability of the catalyst.

Plant stomata facilitate efficient gas exchange and control water loss in plants throughout the course of their *** stomatal pores plants take in CO2 from the atmosphere for photosynthesis,resulting in O2 and h2O being released back into the atmosphere,which makes life on Earth ***,the density and distribution of stomata on the epidermis of photosynthetic organs are critical for overall plant growth and *** the rise in global warming and harsher climatic conditions that threaten food security for future generations,understanding how stomatal density and distribution can be altered may serve as a valuable tool for the generation of crops that can withstand the adverse environmental conditions such as drought,flooding,extremes in temperature,and excessive salinity(Endo and Torii,2019).Temperature fluctuations constitute a critical environmental factor affecting the spatiotemporal development of plants,and seasonal fluctuations in temperature can greatly influence crop yield and productivity of agriculturally important plant species.

Many studies have established the role of radiofrequency (RF) ablation as a minimally invasive treatment for liver metastases. Although relatively safe, several complications have been reported with the increased use of RF ablation. We describe here a case of unexplained liver laceration after a RF procedure. A woman who presented a solitary metachronous liver metastasis underwent RF ablation treatment for this lesion. Six hours later the patient displayed fatigue and pallor. Emergency blood tests showed a haemoglobin level of uted tomography examination revealed two areas of liver laceration with haematoma, one of them following the path of the needle and the other leading away from the f irst. Following a blood transfusion, the patient was haemodynamically stable and completely recovered 24 h later. The patient remained in bed for 1 wk. No surgical intervention was required, and she was discharged 1 wk later.

During mechanical alloying variables such as the type of mill,milling intensity,milling time,milling at- mosphere and ball-to-powder weight ratio(BPR)affect the morphology and constitution of the product. The effect of milling time,milling atmosphere and BPR on the nature of the product formed in mechanical- ly alloyed pure Ti and blended elemental binary Ti-Al,and ternary Ti-AI-Nb alloy powders was described. Mechanical alloying of pure titanium results,after long milling times,in the formation of an fcc *** the binary alloy,a solid solution of aluminum in titanium,an amorphous phase,and a fcc phase form with increasing milling *** fcc phase,which is probably a result of TiN formation,occurs more rapidly in air or nitrogen than in an inert *** of the B2 phase in the ternary alloys depends both on alloy composition and the milling atmosphere,with 100％ formation in all atmospheres in Ti-25Al-25Nb but not in Ti-24Al-11Nb,and an inert atmosphere favoring *** times required for the formation of the different phases decrease as the BPR increases;but their sequence is *** on this infor- mation,“milling maps”which describe phase formation as a function of the BPR and milling time are con- *** from the milling balls increased as the BPR was increased.

Abstract: The dormancy breaking and storage behavior of Garcinia cowa Roxb. seeds were investigated. The seeds of G. cowa had 8–11 months dormancy in their natural habitat. Seeds were matured and dispersed at the end of the rainy season (mid-late August to late September) and were scatter-hoarded by rodents as food for winter after the seeds had fallen to the ground. Seedlings often emerged in the forest during the rainy season (May to August) the following year. Intact seeds of G. cowa failed to germinate after being sown at 30 °C for 120 d and the mean germination time (MGT) of seeds cultured in a shade (50% sunlight) nursery was 252 d. The most effective method of breaking dormancy was to remove the seed coat totally, which reduced the MGT to 13 d at 30 °C. Germination was also promoted by partial removal of the seed coat (excising the hilum and exposing the radicle) and chemical scarification (immersion in 1% h2O2 for 1 d). unscarified seeds take up water rapidly in the first 96 h, but water was absorbed by the outside seed coat, without penetrating through it. The moisture content (MC) of G. cowa seeds was high (50% in fresh weight) at shedding. The seeds could tolerate desiccation to some extent, until the MC reached approximately 40%; below that, the viability decreases rapidly and all seeds died at approximately 17% of MC. Seed viability decreased rapidly when seeds were chilled at 4 °C; germination was 2% after storage for 1 week. Even stored at 10 °C, seeds began to be damaged after 4 weeks. Seed storage for 1 yr revealed that in both dry (relative humidity (35 ± 5)%) and moist (wet sand) storage conditions, seed viability declined, but germination percentages for seeds stored under moist conditions are better than for seed stored under dry conditions. Because of their low tolerance to desiccation, marked chilling sensitivity and relatively short lifespan, G. cowa seeds should be classified into the tropical recalcitrant category. Inflammation of the vagina and vulva caused by Candida is called vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC).Risk factors for VVC include pregnancy,diabetes mellitus,frequent oral sexual intercourse,and the use of tight synthetic underwear and systemic *** albicans,which belongs to the normal flora of the vagina,is the most common cause of ***,an increase in VVC episodes caused by non-albicans Candida species,including Candida glabrata,Candida tropicalis,Candida krusei and Candida parapsilosis,has been *** this study,a total of 100 Candida isolates obtained from patients with vaginitis symptoms were *** susceptibility of the Candida strains to amphotericin B,itraconazole,fluconazole,ketoconazole,voriconazole and caspofungin was investigated using the reference broth microdilution *** factors and demographic characteristics of the patients and the identified Candida species were also *** the 100 Candida strains isolated from vaginal samples,47(47%)were ***,43(43%)***,5(5%)***,2(2%)***,2(2%)*** and 1(1%)was Candida *** incidences of Candida susceptibility to caspofungin,fluconazole,itraconazole,voriconazole,ketoconazole and amphotericin B were 75%,35%,27%,80%,97%and 100%,***,there was a significant difference in antifungal susceptibility among patients belonging to certain risk groups,such as patients previously using antibiotics and recurrent *** of non-albicans Candida species and antifungal resistance,especially against azoles,are both increasing,and certain risk factors should be monitored strictly.

This paper attempts to explore how Shylock in William Shakespeare＇s The Merchant of Venice （1995） and heathcliff in Emily Bronte＇s Wuthering heights （2003） were victimized who became victimizer later to heal their wound and compensate their loss and how they were victimized in turn in doing so. Shylock was victimized by the Christian society along with his own. his daughter left him in favor of the Christians. he later became a victimizer but was ironically victimized in turn in wreaking vengeance on his foes in the court. Similarly, heathcliffs true spiritual love was rejected by his Catherine, neglected by everyone, physically and mentally abused. Later, he wreaked vengeance upon his foes but was victimized to death in turn. Shylock entered the court as a victimizer but left it as a victimized individual just as heathcliff entered the heights, after self-imposed exile, as a victimizer and left it as a victimized individual for good. Therefore, both of them experienced a cycle of victimization.
