Solar wind charge exchange produces emissions in the soft X-ray energy range which can enable the study of near-Earth space regions such as the magnetopause,the magnetosheath and the polar cusps by remote sensing *** Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)and Lunar Environment heliospheric X-ray Imager(LEXI)missions aim to obtain soft Xray images of near-Earth space thanks to their Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)*** earlier modeling works have already simulated soft X-ray images as might be obtained by SMILE SXI during its mission,the numerical models used so far are all based on the magnetohydrodynamics description of the space *** investigate the possible signatures of ion-kinetic-scale processes in soft Xray images,we use for the first time a global hybrid-Vlasov simulation of the geospace from the Vlasiator *** simulation is driven by fast and tenuous solar wind conditions and purely southward interplanetary magnetic *** first produce global X-ray images of the dayside near-Earth space by placing a virtual imaging satellite at two different locations,providing meridional and equatorial *** then analyze regional features present in the images and show that they correspond to signatures in soft X-ray emissions of mirrormode wave structures in the magnetosheath and flux transfer events(FTEs)at the *** results suggest that,although the time scales associated with the motion of those transient phenomena will likely be significantly smaller than the integration time of the SMILE and LEXI imagers,mirror-mode structures and FTEs can cumulatively produce detectable signatures in the soft X-ray *** instance,a local increase by 30%in the proton density at the dayside magnetopause resulting from the transit of multiple FTEs leads to a 12%enhancement in the line-of-sight-and time-integrated soft X-ray emissivity originating from this ***,a proton density increase by 14%in the magnetosheath

Transgenic Nipponbare which over-expressed a Na＋/h~ antiporter gene OsNhX1 was used to compare its growth performance, water status and photosynthetic efficiency with its wild type under varying salinity regimes. Chlorophyll content, quantum yield and photosynthetic rate were measured to assess the impact of salinity stress on photosynthetic efficiency for transgenic and wild-type Nipponbare. Effects of salinity on water status and gas exchange to both lines were studied by measuring water use efficiency, instantaneous transpiration rate and stomatal conductance. Dry shoot weight and leaf area were determined after three months of growth to assess the impacts of salinity on the growth of those two lines. Our study showed that both lines were affected by salinity stress, however, the transgenic line showed higher photosynthetic efficiency, better utilization of water, and better growth due to low transpiration rate and stomatal conductance. Reduction of photosynthetic efficiency exhibited by the wild-type Nipponbare was correlated to its poor growth under salinity stress.

150 ～500 mm长度的各种X射线光学元件可用于光束导引,光束调整,以及单色化。本文介绍了两种不同的大型X射线反射镜。第一种为单层反射镜,这种反射镜以2°掠入射角在软X射线区(50 ～200 eV)起全反射镜作用,可用于自由电子激光器,如德国汉堡的FLASh。第二种是多层镜,由于它的布喇格反射特性,适于作为反射镜以0 .4 ～1°的入射角用于硬X射线区(20 ～50 keV) ,如层析光束线的同步辐射存储环中。两种反射镜都用最新物理汽相淀积法制备,并用磁控溅射来实现X射线光学应用所需要的优良光学品质。这一淀积工艺使不同批次的镀膜稳定性良好,有利于实际反射镜在优质衬底上的最后淀积。单层镜和多层镜在它们的相关能量范围内都有很高的反射率,表面粗糙度也很低,且在整个光学波长区这些特性表现均匀。文中所叙相关研究都是借助X射线反射计量(XRR)法,透射电子显微镜(TEM)、光学轮廓仪(OP) ,以及原子力显微镜(AFM)完成的。

与锭模浇注出低密度、带缩孔铸锭相比,高性能铸锭材料的生产趋于用重熔设备来实现,铸锭的力学性能也会更均匀。水冷铜结晶器中重熔的铸锭具有较高的材料产出量,从而使具有相同最终外形的铸锭其单锭的质量更小,密度更接近于锻造的材料。因此,后续的锻造工艺不需要高锻造比来生产高密度铸锭。在100t以下的铸锭通常可以在固定锭模中生产,并配以外部底加热装置,以避免可能的铸锭底部开裂;50t以上的铸锭采用高度复杂的拉锭系统配以多电极交换,在短的环形坩埚中重熔技术才是最经济的。大型的带有电极交换技术的电渣重熔炉,为生产超过钢厂中最大单个钢包浇铸质量的大尺寸铸锭提供了可能性。介绍了生产145t重铸锭的炉型设计。对于容易出现开裂的高度复杂的合金,可以通过应用隔热绝缘来生产。

Green leaching and predictive model for copper recovery from waste smelting slag with choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvent

This research was performed to investigate the optimization of copper recovery from copper smelting slag(CSS)with a deep eutectic solvent as a green *** effect of important parameters on the leaching efficiency of copper and zinc(as well as dissolution of iron),such as leaching time,leaching temperature,solid/liquid ratio,and particle size was *** order to model the copper recovery,an optimization method was *** to the chemical analysis of CSS,the slag contains 0.9%copper,3.3%zinc,and 36.7%***,it was found that the CSS is mainly composed of Fe2SiO4,Fe3O4 and ***-containing structures were determined as CuO and *** a result of leaching experiments,80%copper and 61%zinc recoveries were obtained at 48 h,95℃,1/25 g·ml^(-1),and-33 *** is noted that the iron and silicon dissolution remained negligible under the selected *** to the mathematical model,the highest copper leaching efficiency(up to 100%)could be under optimum working conditions as 48.5℃leaching temperature,40.1 h leaching duration,and 62.3 ml·g^(-1)solid/liquid ***,the proposed model revealed that a wide range of experimental levels can be used as leaching parameter to get desired metal leaching efficiency.

Mammalian skeletal muscles play a pivotal role in the body and are mainly responsible for movement,meta-bolism,and energy *** that regulate muscle hypertrophy and atrophy are involved in muscle growth.A sufficient intake of dietary protein is essential for maintaining good health during normal growth and *** flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus)is one of the most common flatfish species in the South Korean aquaculture industry,and its consumption has been associated with various health benefits,such as a lower risk of cancers,heart failure,and chronic *** present study attempted to determine the effect on muscle growth of flounder meat digest prepared using an in vitro gastric *** capacity of digested flounder meat to enhance muscle growth was evaluated by examining glycogen levels and creatine kinase activity during muscle *** expression of muscle growth regulatory proteins was also *** with flounder meat digest significantly and dose-dependently increased glycogen levels and creatine kinase activity in C2C12 ***,proteins that are responsible for muscle hypertrophy and atrophy were significantly upregulated and downregulated,*** results were confirmed using western blotting and immu-nofluorescence *** results of this study suggest that digested flounder meat has great potential for skeletal muscle growth and can be used as a functional food ingredient.

This paper attempts to demonstrate hester Prynne＇s, in Nathaniel hawthorne＇s romantic work of fiction The Scarlet Letter （1994）, sublimation of her sexual impulses into identifying with the socially acceptable humanitarian actions, and societal demands in order to avoid the confrontation with the scorn of the people of Boston, her sexual urge, and with her weakness. hester＇s libidinal energy was channeled into socially approved activities in her self-devoted years that made up her identity and reality. The scarlet letter ceased to be a stigma which once attracted the world＇s scorn and bitterness, later looked upon with reverence, and transformed into a thing to be sorrowed over. She had not ignored a large part of reality of her life （the past and present）. If she ignored her past she would entirely detach it from the present. She integrated her stigma into her life in the continual process of self-making, and thereby projecting herself into the future

The wear resistances of austempered ductile iron （ADI） were improved through intxoduction of a new phase （carbide） into the ma- txix by addition of chromium. In the present investigation, low-caxbon-equivalent ductile iron （LCEDI）（CE = 3.06%, and CE represents cax- bon-equivalent） with 2.42% chromium was selected. LCEDI was austeintized at two difl＇erent temperatures （900 and 975~C） a^ld soaked for 1 h and then quenched in a salt bath at 325~C for 0 to 10 h. Samples were analyzed using optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Wear tests were carded out on a pin-on-disk-type machine. The efl＇ect of austenization temperature on the wear resistance, impact strength, and the mi- crostructure was evaluated. A stxucture-property correlation based on the observations is established.
