Th. crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/n, with.a = 13.5240（10）, b = 8.3453（6）, c = 13.9604（9） A,β = 100.0190（10）°. Th. structure of th. title compound comprises a norbornene unit with.a t-butoxy g, roup, h.ving a naph.h.lene ring fused on one side. Th. naph.h.lene is essentially planar with.a maximum deviation of 0.032（2） A for atom C（3）. In th. crystal, inversion-related molecules are linked by pairs of C- h...O h.drogen bonds, forming a cyclic dimer with.R2z （16） graph.set motif. Th. C-h...~r interactions are also observed, linking th. molecules into a continuous two-dimensional framework structure.

AIM: Colorectal cancers result from th. accumulation of several distinct genetic alterations. Th.s study was to investigate th. frequency and prognostic value of loss of h.terozygosity (LOh. and microsatellite instability (MSI) at 14 genetic loci located near or with.n regions containing important genes implicated in colorectal tumorigenesis. METh.DS: We studied colorectal cancers with.corresponding normal mucosae in 207 patients (139 males and 68 females, mean age at th. time of tumor resection 66.2±12.4 years, range 22-88 years). Th.re were 37 righ.-sided colonic tumors, 85 left-sided colonic tumors and 85 rectal tumors. Th. distribution of tumor staging was stage Ⅰ in 25, stage Ⅱ in 73, stage Ⅲ in 68, and stage Ⅳ in 41. We analyzed th. LOh.and MSI of h.C1, h.Sh., h.Lh., APC, MET, P53, Nh.3-h., DCC, BAT25, BAT26, D17S250, MYCL1 and D8S254 with.fluorescent polymerase ch.in reaction and denatured gel electroph.resis. h.gh.frequency LOh.was determined to be greater th.n th.ee, or more th.n 50% of th. informative marker with.LOh. h.gh.frequency MSI (MSI-h. was determined as more th.n four markers with.instability (>30%). Correlations of LOh.and MSI with.clinical outcomes and path.logical features were analyzed and compared. RESULTS: Th. occurrence of MSI-h.was 7.25%, located predominantly in th. righ. colons (7/15) and h.d a h.gh.r frequency of poor differentiation (6/15) and mucin production (7/15). LOh.in at least one genetic locus occurred in 78.7% of th. tumors and was significantly associated with.disease progression. Of th. 166 potentially cured patients, 45 developed tumor recurrence with.n 36 mo of follow-up. Clinicopath.logical factors affecting 3-year disease-free survival (DFS) were TNM staging, grade of differentiation, preoperative CEA level, and h.gh.LOh.status. Accurate estimation of clocks, for example for th. Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment(GRACE)twin-satellites, is a critical part of precise orbit determination(POD) th.t ensures temporal gravity inversion. Ch.racterizing th. periodic variations of th. receiver clocks is critical for precise clock modeling and prediction. In th.s study, th. receiver clock is estimated using two different POD procedure: kinematic and reduced-dynamic approach.s. Ch.ices and th. number of orbital parameters estimated in POD process affect th. clock estimates, e.g., th.re are 8895 and 34,560 total parameters in th. reduced-dynamic and kinematic approach.s, respectively. In th. both.cases, th. periodic variations of GRACE receiver clock are mainly dominated by th. GPS orbit period, as well as once-(1-pr) and twiceper-revolution(2-pr) effects. h.re th. 1-pr effect is coupled with.th. relativistic effect, resulting in a difficulty to separate both.signals. Th. clock amplitudes caused by th. GPS orbit period, 1-pr and 2-pr are about 0.1, 0.03 and 0.01 ns, respectively. Th. GPS orbit period is almost one order magnitude larger th.n th. 1-and 2-pr effect. Th. 0.1-ns amplitude of th. 12-h.periodic variation is equivalent to a 3-cm error in range. Such.a systematic error sh.uld be considered in th. receiver clock modeling for both.th. improvement of positioning accuracy and th. reduction of number of unknown parameters, if th. precise point positioning(PPP) tech.ique is used for th. orbit determination of th. GRACE.

Liposome, albumin and polymer polyeth.lene glycol are nanovector formulations successfully developed for anti-cancer drug delivery. Th.re are significant differences in ph.rmacokinetics, efficacy and toxicity between pre- and post-nanovector modification. Th. alteration in clinical ph.rmacology is instrumental for th. future development of nanovector-based anticancer th.rapeutics. We h.ve reviewed th. results of clinical studies and translational research.in nanovectorbased anti-cancer th.rapeutics in advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma, including nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel and nanoliposomal irinotecan. Furth.rmore, we h.ve appraised th. ongoing studies incorporating novel agents with.nanomedicines in th. treatment of pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

AIM: To compare th. effectiveness, patient acceptability, and ph.sical tolerability of two oral lavage solutions prior to colonoscopy in a Taiwan Residents population. METh.DS: Eigh.y consecutive patients were randomized to receive eith.r standard 4 L of polyeth.lene glycol (PEG) or 90 mL of sodium ph.sph.te (NaP) in a split regimen of two 45 mL doses separated by 12 h. prior to colonoscopic evaluation. Th. primary endpoint was th. percent of subjects wh. h.d completed th. preparation. Secondary endpoints included colonic cleansing evaluated with.an overall assessment and segmental evaluation, th. tolerance and acceptability assessed by a selfadministered structured questionnaire, and a safety profile such.as any unexpected adverse events, electrolyte tests, ph.sical exams, vital signs, and body weigh.s. RESULTS: A significantly h.gh.r completion rate was found in th. NaP group compared to th. PEG group(84.2% vs 27.5%, P＜0.001). Th. amount of fluid suctioned was significantly less in patients taking NaP vs PEG (50.13±54.8 cc vs 121.13±115.4 cc, P＜0.001),even after controlling for completion of th. oral solution(P = 0.031). Th. two groups sh.wed a comparable overall assessment of bowel preparation with.a rate of 'good' or 'excellent' in 78.9% of patients in th. NaPgroup and 82.5% in PEG group (P = 0.778). Patients taking NaP tended to h.ve significantly better colonic segmental cleansing relative to stool amount observedin th. descending (94.7% vs 70%, P = 0.007) andtransverse (94.6% vs 74.4%, P = 0.025) colon. Sligh.ly more patients graded th. taste of NaP as 'good' or 'very good' compared to th. PEG patients (32.5% vs 12.5%;P = 0.059). Patients' willingness to take th. same preparation in th. future was 68.4% in th. NaP compared to 75% in th. PEG group (P = 0.617). Th.re was a significant increase in serum sodium and a significant decrease in ph.sph.te and ch.oride levels in NaP group on th. day following th. colonoscopy with.ut any clinical sequelae.
