A thermoplastic based composite material is suitable for automobile and aerospace applications. The recyclability of thermoplastic and clean processing further enhance its use. The only limitation encountered in using this material is its high-melt viscosity. Various techniques have been developed to overcome this problem. Commingled materials are one of such methods adopted for making proper use of thermoplastic. A major problem observed during the use of a commingled material is its de-commingling, wherein, the uniform distribution of fiber and thermoplastic yam gets disturbed and affects the final quality of the composite. The effects of the braiding process on laminate quality were investigated. Flat plaques were produced by braiding the commingled yam, using a 48- carrier braiding machine. The braids （and control woven samples） were subsequently heated and consolidated in a nonisothermal compression molding operation. Prior to the manufacture of the ＇best quality＇ plaques, a series of moldings were produced under different consolidation conditions, to study the dependence of properties on the process variables. This enabled a processing window to be established for each material and helped to separate the respective effects of yam handling, textile processing, and consolidation on laminate properties.

随着社会经济和工业发展,粉煤灰的无序堆放对环境污染越来越严重,其对大气、土壤、地下水的污染对人类的健康也造成了一定的威胁。利用粉煤灰作为合成沸石分子筛的原材料,不仅可以为被锶、铯等污染的海水吸附净化提供一种价格低廉、性能良好的吸附剂,同时也实现了粉煤灰以废治废的资源化利用,有助于减轻粉煤灰造成的环境问题。本文以内蒙古托克托县大唐国际粉煤灰为主要原料,采用碱熔融水热法制备沸石分子筛,研究了合成过程中碱灰比、陈化时间、水热晶化温度、水热晶化时间等试验条件对合成产物的影响,并对试验合成的产物进行了表征。扫描电镜(SEM)可观察到产物中属于粉煤灰中的球状、钝角状、不规则碎屑状颗粒基本消失,合成产物具有N-1型沸石、Na-P1型、方钠石、方沸石典型结构,形状规则,轮廓清晰,分散度较好;X射线衍射(XRD)图谱表明,合成产物具有N-1型沸石、Na-P1型、方钠石、方沸石较强的衍射峰,表明由粉煤灰在适当的试验条件下成功的合成了混合相分子筛。选取含有Cs+、Sr2+的模拟污染海水为处理目标,研究制备的混合相沸石分子筛对Cs+、Sr2+的吸附性能。初步探讨了 Cs+、Sr2+离子浓度、pH、吸附时间、吸附剂投加量等因素对吸附效果的影响,通过原子吸收光谱(AAS)、原子发射光谱(ICP)对吸附后的残留的Cs+、Sr2+进行测定。结果表明:吸附pH为6.0,温度为25℃条件下混合相沸石分子筛和模拟污染海水共静置吸附24h对Cs+、Sr2+去除率效果较好。因此,采用碱熔融水热法制备的沸石分子筛对含有Cs+、Sr2+的受污染海水具有较好的处理效果,在减少环境污染问题的同时也具有良好的潜在工业应用价值。

The small Rab GTPases are key regulators of membrane vesicle trafficking. Ovaries of Periplaneta americana （Linnaeus）（Blattodea： Blattidae） have small molecular weight GTP/ATP-binding proteins during early and late vitellogenic periods of oogenesis. However, the identification and characterization of the detected proteins have not been yet reported. Herein, we cloned a cDNA encoding Rab5 from the American cockroach, P. americana, ovaries （PamRab5）. It comprises 796 bp, encoding a protein of 213 amino acid residues with a predicted molecular weight of 23.5 kDa. PamRab5 exists as a single-copy gene in the P. americana genome, as revealed by Southern blot analysis. An approximate 2.6 kb ovarian mRNA was transcribed especially at high levels in the previtellogenic ovaries, detected by Northern blot analysis. The muscle and head tissues also showed high levels of PamRab5 transcript. PamRab5 protein was localized, via immunofluorescence labeling, to germline-derived cells of the oocytes, very early during oocyte differentiation. Immunoblotting detected a ~25 kDa signal as a membrane-associated form revealed after application of detergent in the extraction buffer, and 23 kDa as a cytosolic form consistent with the predicted molecular weight from amino acid sequence in different tissues including ovary, muscles and head. The PamRab5 during late vitellogenic periods is required to regulate the endocytotic machinery during oogenesis in this cockroach. This is the first report on Rab5 from a hemimetabolan, and presents an inaugural step in probing the molecular premises of insect oocyte endocytotic trafficking important for oogenesis and embryonic development.

Efforts were exerted to enhance the live virtual machines(VMs)migration,including performance improvements of the live migration of services to the *** VMs empower the cloud users to store relevant data and ***,the utilization of servers has increased significantly because of the virtualization of computer systems,leading to a rise in power consumption and storage requirements by data centers,and thereby the running *** center migration technologies are used to reduce risk,minimize downtime,and streamline and accelerate the data center move ***,several parameters,such as non-network overheads and downtime adjustment,may impact the live migration time and server downtime to a large *** virtualizing the network resources,the infrastructure as a service(IaaS)can be used dynamically to allocate the bandwidth to services and monitor the network flow *** to the large amount of filthy retransmission,existing live migration systems still suffer from extensive downtime and significant performance degradation in crossdata-center *** study aims to minimize the energy consumption by restricting the VMs migration and switching off the guests depending on a threshold,thereby boosting the residual network bandwidth in the data center with a minimal breach of the service level agreement(SLA).In this research,we analyzed and evaluated the findings observed through simulating different parameters,like availability,downtime,and outage of VMs in data center *** new paradigm is composed of two forms of detection strategies in the live migration approach from the source host to the destination source machine.

We propose to perform an image-based framework for electrical energy meter *** aim is to extract the image region that depicts the digits and then recognize them to record the consumed *** the readings of serial numbers and energy meter units,an automatic billing system using the Internet of Things and a graphical user interface is deployable in a real-time ***,such region extraction and character recognition become challenging due to image variations caused by several factors such as partial occlusion due to dust on the meter display,orientation and scale variations caused by camera positioning,and non-uniform illumination caused by *** this end,our work evaluates and compares the stateof-the art deep learning algorithm You Only Look Once(YOLO)along with traditional handcrafted features for text extraction and *** image dataset contains 10,000 images of electrical energymeters and is further expanded by data augmentation such as in-plane rotation and scaling tomake the deep learning algorithms robust to these image *** training and evaluation,the image dataset is annotated to produce the ground truth of all the ***,YOLO achieves superior performance over the traditional handcrafted features with an average recognition rate of 98%for all the *** proves to be robust against the mentioned image variations compared with the traditional handcrafted *** proposed method can be highly instrumental in reducing the time and effort involved in the currentmeter reading,where workers visit door to door,take images ofmeters and manually extract readings from these images.

Engineering ceramics with high strength,toughness and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding effectiveness(SE)are highly desirable as electromagnetic protecting material in harsh ***,we show that both excellent mechanical and EMI shielding performance can be realized in alumina composites embedded with highly aligned reduced graphene oxide(RGO),which are readily prepared via sintering of core-shell structured RGO@Al_(2)O_(3)nanoplates with *** to monolithic Al_(2)O_(3),the highly aligned RGO/Al_(2)O_(3)composites show simultaneously improved strength and toughness up to~26.1%and~60.2%,*** steeply rising R-curve behavior proves the better crack tolerance in the highly aligned structure with respect to randomly oriented ***,the RGO/Al_(2)O_(3)composites also exhibit a high specific EMI SE reaching~34 dB/mm in K band,due to the reflection and highly enhanced absorption after percolation in the out-of-plane *** findings provide a novel strategy of designing mechanically reliable engineering ceramic for EMI shielding.
