the luminescence properties of Ce- or Ce and La-doped gadolinium pyrosilicate （Gd2Si2Ot, GPS） were characterized using vacuum ultraviolet （VUV） excitation light. A prominent emission band was observed in the luminescence spectra with excitation at 60 nm and ascribed to 5d-4f transition of Ce3＋. Because the excitation wavelength of 60 nm corresponded to the excitation in the host matrix, this result indicated that the excitation energy transfer occurred from the host matrix to Ce3＋ ions. On the basis of the rise in the luminescence time profiles with excitation at 60 nm, the energy transfer occurred within 2 ns, which was much shorter than that of Ce-doped Gd2SiO2. For Ce-doped GPS, the decay rate was slower for the host excitation than that for direct excitation of Ce3＋. In contrast, for Ce and La-doped GPS, no significant difference was observed for the host excitation and direct excitation of Ce3＋. this result indicated that the energy transfer from the host to Ce3＋ ions led to a different radiative decay process, and that La doping had an effect on the energy transfer and decay process.

One of the simplest ways to account for the observed W-boson mass shift is to introduce the SU(2)L triplet Higgs boson with zero hypercharge,whose vacuum expectation value is about 3 *** the triplet is heavy enough at O(1) teV,it essentially contributes only to t parameter without any conflict with the *** presence of a complex triplet Higgs boson raises the SU(2)_(L) gauge coupling constant toα_(2)(M_(PL))≃1/44 at the Planck *** to this larger gauge coupling constant,we show that the electroweak axion vacuum energy explains the observed cosmological constant provided that the axion field is located near the hill top of the potential at present.

two topics were focused. the first one was about the gamma-ray scintillator, Pr^3＋：Lu3Al5O12 （LuAG）. the second one was about neutron scintillator, Ce^3＋：^6LiCaAlF6 and Eu^2＋：^6LiCaAlF6 （^6LiCAF）. those scintillators have been developed very recently for modem imaging applications in the medical and homeland security fields. In both cases, the rare earth ions are playing the crucial role as emission centers. Pr^3＋ in LuAG provided fast 5d→4f transition providing noticeably shorter decay time than that of Ce^3＋. Among several candidate hosts, LuAG showed the best performance. Bulk crystal growth, basic scintillation properties, two-dimensional gamma-ray imaging and positron emission mammography （PEM） application were demonstrated. Due to the international situation, the homeland security was compromized by illicit traffic of explosives, drugs, nuclear materials, etc. and the ways to its improvement became an important R＆D topic. For this purpose the Ce and Eu doped LiCAF appeared competitive candidates. Especially, when substitution of 3He neutron detectors was considered, the discrimination ability of gamma-ray from alpha-ray was important. Bulk crystal growth, basic scintillation properties and two-dimensional neutron imaging were demonstrated.

1970年,日本三菱金属公司大阪精炼厂迠立了一个新的贵金属回收车间。该车间已生产了四年,主要处理直岛冶炼厂和精炼厂的阳极泥,同时也处理小名浜熔炼与糙炼厂的阳极泥。这些阳极泥的特征是硫酸铅的含量高,造成贵金属特别是银的极为频繁的循环。因此,利用浮选法从阳极泥中分离硫酸铅方面作了不少努力。试验室和半工业试验经验指出,用浮选法可有效地将硫酸铅排入尾砂中,使大部分阳极泥均可有效地还原。此外,还发现金银含量丰(宀夫)的精矿极易用回转窑处理,这就排除了常规方法的某些步骤。

this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

this paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. the strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. the curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. the accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

Molecularly targeted therapeutic agents are constantly being developed and have been shown to be effective in various clinical trials. One group of representative targeted oncogenic kinases, the receptor tyrosine kinases (RtKs), has been associated with gastric cancer development. trastuzumab, an inhibitor of ERBB2, has been approved for the treatment of gastric cancer, although other receptor tyrosine kinases, such as epidermal growth factor receptor, vascular endothelial growth factor, platelet-derived growth factor receptor, c-Met, IGF-1R and fibroblast growth factor receptor 2, are also activated in gastric cancer. the promising results of the trastuzumab clinical trial for gastric cancer resulted in the approval of trastuzumab-based therapy as a first-line treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-positive patients. On the other hand, the trial examining bevacizumab in combination with conventional chemotherapy did not meet its primary goal of increasing the overall survival time of gastric cancer patients; however, a significantly higher response rate and a longer progression-free survival were observed in the bevacizumab arm of the trial. Other clinical trials, especially phase III trials that have tested drugs targeting RtKs, such as cetuximab, panitumumab, gefitinib, erlotinib, figitumumab, sorafenib, sunitinib and lapatinib, have shown that these drugs have modest effects against gastric cancer. this review summarizes the recent results from the clinical trials of molecularly targeted drugs and suggests that further improvements in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer can be achieved through the combination of conventional drugs with the new molecularly targeted therapies.

BACKGROUND Monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal t-cell lymphoma(MEItL)is a rare primary intestinal t-cell lymphoma,previously known as enteropathy-associated t-cell lymphoma type *** is an aggressive t-cell lymphoma with a poor prognosis and high mortality *** known major complications of MEItL are intestinal perforation and ***,we present a case of MEItL that was diagnosed following upper gastrointestinal bleeding from an ulcerative duodenal lesion,with recurrence-free survival for 5 *** SUMMARY A 68-year-old female was admitted to our hospital with melena and mild *** urgent esophagogastroduodenoscopy(EGD)revealed bleeding from an ulcerative lesion in the transverse part of the duodenum,for which hemostatic treatment was *** was diagnosed following repeated biopsies of the lesion,and cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,and prednisone(CHOP)chemotherapy was *** achieved complete remission after eight full cycles of CHOP *** the last follow-up examination,EGD revealed a scarred ulcer and 18Fluorodeoxyglucose(18FDG)positron emission tomography/computed tomography showed no abnormal FDG *** patient has been in complete remission for 68 mo after initial *** to rule out MEItL,it is important to carefully perform histological examination when bleeding from a duodenal ulcer is observed.
