Adapting and restricting salinity intrusion in Vietnam is being concerned by more researchers as well as the local *** study aimed to use remote sensing and geographic information system(GIS)technology for mapping paddy areas and salinity intrusion in spring crop 2015 at Phu Vang district,thereby helping precondition for assessing and monitoring changes in salinity intrusion to serve for salinization management in study *** on acquisition imagery,land use map and normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)were extracted to interpolate the salinity of area by combining the laboratory analysis of collected soil samples from the *** result showed that there were 1,067.107 ha of salinity land area accounting for 10.04%of the rice land in Phu Vang district,where the moderate salinity level was 180.67 ha and low salinity level was 866.431 *** salinity rice land was mainly distributed in Vinh Ha commune,Phu An commune and Phu Dien *** salinity in this area ranged from 0.4 mS/cm to 1.41 mS/cm and the moderate salinity was approximately 0.9 mS/***,this research also showed that the salinity(electrical conductivity)and the development of vegetation(NDVI)were closely related with each other up to 61.4%.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness of cycling in combination with electroacupuncture in treatment of poststroke hemiplegia patients at National Hospital of Acupuncture,***:The study was designed as a single-centre,outcome-assessor-blinded parallel randomised controlled trial with 120 post-stroke hemiplegia patients randomly assigned into two groups:electroacupuncture plus cycling(CT group) and electroacupuncture(AT group).Patients were assessed before and after the treatment(using muscle grading,modified Rankin,Barthel,Orgorozo scores and electromyography).Statistical Man–Whitney U test,and Fisher’s exact tests were used to compare between CT and AT ***:The results reported statistically significant improvement in motor function in patients suffering from hemiplegia following ischemic stroke in both CT and AT *** in CT group experienced a greater improvement compared to those in AT group including better muscle contraction(increased frequency and amplitude of electromyography and increased muscle grading scale);increased recovery(Orgogozo scale),increased independency(Barthel scale) and decreased disability(Modified Rankin scale)(P < 0.01).CONCLUSIONS:Combination with cycling training significantly improves the recovery of post-stroke patients treated with electroacupuncture.

Embryonic, genetic and clinical outcomes of fresh versus vitrified oocyte: A retrospective cohort study

Objective:To compare embryonic development,ploidy status and clinical outcomes between fresh and frozen-thawed ***:This retrospective cohort study evaluated 83 fertilization cycles including both fresh and frozen oocytes from 79 patients at the HP Fertility Center of Hai Phong International Hospital of Obstetrics and Pediatrics in *** patient underwent several ovarian stimulation cycles to accumulate a certain number of oocytes that would be *** the last oocyte retrieval,all patient’s oocytes including both frozen and fresh would be *** outcomes included the rates of oocyte survival,cleavage embryo,blastocyst,ploidy status,pregnancy,biochemical pregnancy and clinical ***:The oocyte survival rate after thawing was 96.5%.No statistically significant difference was found when comparing fresh and frozen oocytes regarding fertilization rate(78.1%vs.75.5%,P=0.461),usable cleavage embryo rate(86.9%vs.87.2%,P=0.916)but usable blastocyst rate was found higher statistically in the frozen oocyte group(44.4%vs.54.0%,P=0.049).The percentages of euploid,aneuploid and mosaic embryos between the fresh group and the vitrified group had no significant differences(33.8%vs.31.6%,P=0.682;51.0%vs.54.2%,P=0.569;15.2%vs.12.4%,P=0.787;respectively).The rates of pregnancy,biochemical pregnancy and clinical pregnancy had no statistical difference(68.8%vs.64.8%,P=0.764;12.5%vs.3.6%,P=0.258;37.5%vs.46.4%,P=0.565).17 Mature oocytes are the minimum to have at least one euploid ***:Oocyte vitrification does not affect embryonic,genetic and clinical *** number of mature oocytes should be considered for fertilization in some cases.

RASSFIA Promoter Hypermethylation as a Prognosis and Diagnosis for Breast Cancer in Vietnamese Population

Aberrant tumor suppressor gene promoter methylation was associated with the several cancers, including breast cancer, which was the common female deaths in most countries involved in Vietnam. The methylation in tumor suppressor genes, including RASSFIA, were the key targets of establishing the potential biomarkers for prognosis and early diagnosis of breast cancer. In present study, with the aim towards using the hypermethylation at CpG islands of promoter of RASSFIA as the biomarker for breast cancer in Vietnamese population, MSP （methyl specific PCR） was carried out to analyze the hypermethylation status ofRASSFIA gene in 115 samples including 95 breast cancer specimens and 20 normal breast tissues from another disease （not breast cancer）. All samples were obtained from Ho Chi minh City Medical Hospital, Vietnam. The known predictive and prognostic factors： HER2/neu overexpression was immunohistochemistry stained as input value for breast cancer specimens. For input value confirmed, the overexpression of p53 protein was also analyzed together with prior immunochemical assay. The results indicated that the hypermethylation of frequencies for methylation of given gene reached 42.1% （P 〈 0.05）. In addition, the DNA hypermethylation of RASSFIA gene increased the possibility to be breast cancer with high incidence via calculated of odd ratio （P 〈 0.05）. In conclusion, the hypermethylation of candidate genes could be used as the promising biomarkers applying in Vietnamese breast cancer patients.

Rest Thallium-201/Stress Technetium-99m Sestamibi Dual-Isotope Myocardial Perfusion Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography in Detecting of Chronic Coronary Artery Disease

To investigate diagnostic accuracy of 2-hour protocol of rest thallium-201/stress technetium-99m sestamibi dual-isotope myocardial perfusion SPECT in chronic coronary artery disease. Sixty-seven patients with suspected CAD were enrolled in the prospective study. All patients underwent myocardial perfusion scintigraphy in SPECT with dual isotopes of T1-201 and dipyridamole stress Tc-99m sestamibi. Rest and stress imaging protocol were performed in 2 hours by dose of 3 mCi TI-201 and 25 mCi Tc-99m sestamibi. The acquisition parameters includes LEHR collimator, energy peak of 72 and 167 keV for T1-201 and 140 keV for Tc-99m, 180-degree rotation from RAO to LPO, matrix size 64x64, and 25second/frame/64 frames. The 20-segment model of left ventricle was used in automatic quantitation software. Coronary angiography was used as gold standard. CAD was defined as 50% of lumen stenosis on coronary angiography. Rest TI-201/stress tc-99m sestamibi dual-isotope SPECT demonstrated a sensitivity of 94.59% and specificity of 70%, positive predictive value of 79.54% and negative predictive value of 91.3% in detection of coronary artery disease. Sensitivity and specificity for detecting multi-vessel coronary artery disease were 82.75% and 81.57% for the left anterior descending, 77.77% and 91.83% for left circumflex and 94.11% and 82% for right coronary artery. 2-hour protocol of rest thallium-201/stress technetium-99m sestamibi dual-isotope myocardial perfusion SPECT has high sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value in detecting chronic coronary artery disease with greater than 50% stenosis assessed by coronary angiography Moreover, this imaging protocol gives high imaging quality, time-saving and convenience.

The experiment was conducted in winter-spring 2015-2016 in Thua Thien Hue to identify different foliar fertilizer for Petunia hybrida having good growth and development,beautiful colors and long lifetime under local *** experiment included four treatments with three kinds of forliar fertilizers—Dau Trau MK 30-10-5,gibberellin 25-10-10 and abscisic *** control treatment(T0)used sterilized water without foliar *** results showed that all the foliar fertilizers influenced well on growth and development of Petunia *** Trau MK 30-10-5 helped Petunia hybrida have high quality and high value/cost ratio than the others.

介绍了使用配有Agilent 4107氮气发生器的Agilent 4200微波等离子体原子发射光谱法（MPAES）分析果汁样品中的钙、镁、钠和钾等常量元素的分析方法,在分析两种质量控制（QC）测试材料时,加标回收率在90%-110%,6h中所有四种元素的相对标准偏差（RSD）均小于4%。与火焰原子吸收光谱法（FAAS）相比,MP-AES的等离子体源在检出限和线性动态范围等性能方面有所改善,MP-AES无需使用可燃性气体,也无需使用昂贵又费时的改性剂和电离抑制剂,对标准物质的测定结果与标准值基本一致。4200 MP-AES将是替代火焰原子吸收仪器的理想选择。

In this study, the experiments on field were conducted to examine the change in the content of soil organic carbon (SOC), its C-13 stable isotope composition (δ 13C) and some main physical, chemical parameters (soil moisture, pH, soil density, content of humic, fulvic, total N, total P, total K) in alluvial soil of Dan phuong region—Vietnam at a depth of 0 - 30 cm when we changed the regime from 2 maize -1 rice crop to 2 rice - 1 maize crop per 1 year. In addition to analyzing the main parameters in soil, C content and its δ 13C value in parts of rice and maize (root, stem and leaf) were also analyzed to assess the contribution of plant residues on soil organic carbon content after harvest. The experiment was carried out in 2016-2017 on the field with the traditional farming method of local farmers along with the tropical monsoon weather conditions of the North-Vietnam. The results showed that SOC had positive correlation with total N, total P parameters and negative correlation with δ 13C values of soil samples at two layers (0 - 15 cm and 15 - 30 cm). The average of total dry biomass (stem, stump + roots and leaf parts) per 1 rice and 1 maize crop was 10.64 Mg/ha and 9.09 Mg/ha, respectively. The average of δ 13C value of rice (C3 plant) was -29.78‰ and its value of maize (C4 plant) was -12.61‰. The new plant (rice) contributes to the total soil organic carbon content from 11.31% to 44.14% at the 0 - 15 cm layer and from 6.55% to 11.31% at the 15 - 30 cm layer in one-year experiment period.
