Recent advancements in stem cell technology open a new door for patients suffering from diseases and disorders that have yet to be treated.Stem cell-based therapy,including human pluripotent stem cells(hPsCs)and multipotent mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),has recently emerged as a key player in regenerative medicine.hPSCs are defined as self-renewable cell types conferring the ability to differentiate into various cellular phenotypes of the human body,including three germ layers.MsCs are multipotent progenitor cells possessing self-renewal ability(limited in vitro)and differentiation potential into mesenchymal lineages,according to the International Society for Cell and Gene therapy(ISCt).this review provides an update on recent clinical applications using either hPSCs or MSCs derived from bone marrow(BM),adipose tissue(At),or the umbilical cord(UC)for the treatment of human diseases,including neurological disorders,pulmonary dysfunctions,metabolic/endocrine-related diseases,reproductive disorders,skin burns,and cardiovascular conditions.Moreover,we discuss our own clinical trial experiences on targeted therapies using MsCs in a clinical setting,and we propose and discuss the MSC tissue origin concept and how MSC origin may contribute to the role of MSCs in downstream applications,with the ultimate objective of facilitating translational research in regenerative medicine into clinical applications.the mechanisms discussed here support the proposed hypothesis that BM-MSCs are potentially good candidates for brain and spinal cord injury treatment,At-MSCs are potentially good candidates for reproductive disorder treatment and skin regeneration,and UC-MsCs are potentially good candidates for pulmonary disease and acute respiratory distress svndrometreatment.

Poroelastodynamic responses and elastic moduli of a transversely isotropic porous cylinder under forced deformation test

Existing transversely isotropic poroelastodynamics solutions are limited to infinite domains and without experimental validation. Furthermore, there is a lack of analytical simulations for the elastic moduli dispersion of fluid-saturated porous cylinders. to address these three limitations and investigate the mechanisms of moduli dispersion, we present the analytical solutions of the poromechanical responses and the elastic moduli dispersion of a transversely isotropic, fluid-saturated, finite porous cylinder subjected to a forced deformation test. through an example, we demonstrate the effects of loading frequency, boundary conditions, and material's anisotropy, dimension, and permeability on the responses of pore pressure,force, displacement, and dynamic elastic moduli of the cylinder. the specimen's responses are significantly influenced by the frequency of the applied load, resulting in a drained state at low frequencies and an undrained state at high frequencies. At high frequencies, the sample behaves identically for an open or a closed lateral boundary, and permeability has insignificant effects. the dynamic elastic moduli are mainly controlled by the loading frequency and the ratio of the sample's radius to its height. Lastly,we show excellent matches between the newly derived analytical solution and laboratory measurements on one clay and two shale samples from Mont terri.

An updraft gasifier was employed to treat 3 kg of dried rice husk per batch with different types of gasifying agents such as air,steam/air,and air with dolomite catalyst addition at various operating conditions.the H2 content,low heating value,and H2/CO ratio in syngas were compared to determine the most effective solution to enhance the H2 production from rice husk gasification.the presence of dolomite in air gasification produced the highest H2 content in the product gas,up to 15.4 mol%,followed by 7.08 and 3.6 mol%when steam/air and air standalone were used as gasifying agents,respectively.the higher low heating value of syngas 5.1 MJ/Nm3 was observed in catalytic air gasification compared to 3.6 MJ/Nm3 when steam was added.the optimal operation condition was reported at an airflow rate of 3 m3/h and a catalyst mixing ratio of 15%.

Mechanism of Japanese encephalitis virus genotypes replacement based on human,porcine and mosquito-originated cell lines model

Objective:to examine the multiplication efficiency Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)genotype Ⅰ(G Ⅰ) and genotype Ⅲ(GⅢ) of different cell lines which originated from human,porcine,mosquitoes in order to prove mechanism of JEV G Ⅰ replacement JEV GⅢ since it emerging in nature recent decades.Methods:the mixture of Gi and GⅢ JEV isolates was inoculated on human rhabdomyosarcoma(RD).pig kidney epithelial(PS) and Aedes albopictus C6/36 clone(C6/36) which originated from human,porcine and mosquitoes,respectively.Plaque assays were performed to calculate virus titer and real-time Rt-PCR with GⅠand GⅢspecific primer sets to quantify the number of GⅠ and GUI RNA copies.Results:the highest virus titer reached at the 3rd day of post infection when G Ⅰand GⅢ mixture was inoculated on RD and PS and that of C636 was at the 4^(th)day.JEVs were amplified and maintained by C6/36 cells after 10 passages whereas that by RD and PS only limited within 8 and 6 passages,respectively.GⅠ strain amplified and maintained more efficiently on C6/36 and PS but not RD.whereas GⅢ strain amplified and maintained more efficiently on RD.Conclusions:there is a correlation between the multiplication efficiency of GⅠ and GⅢ JEV strains when these two genotype strains co-infected on different cell lines with the predominance of GⅠstrains in C6/36 and PS and the limited detection of G 1 strains in RD cells proving a possible mechanism of shift JEV genotypes in nature recent decades since GⅠ emerging.

Intermediary RRt*-PSO:A Multi-Directional Hybrid Fast Convergence Sampling-Based Path Planning Algorithm

Path planning is a prevalent process that helps mobile robots find the most efficient pathway from the starting position to the goal position to avoid collisions with obstacles.In this paper,we propose a novel path planning algorithm-Intermediary RRt*-PSO-by utilizing the exploring speed advantages of Rapidly exploring Random trees and using its solution to feed to a metaheuristic-based optimizer,Particle swarm optimization(PSO),for fine-tuning and enhancement.In Phase 1,the start and goal trees are initialized at the starting and goal positions,respectively,and the intermediary tree is initialized at a random unexplored region of the search space.the trees were grown until one met the other and then merged and re-initialized in other unexplored regions.If the start and goal trees merge,the first solution is found and passed through a minimization process to reduce unnecessary nodes.Phase 2 begins by feeding the minimized solution from Phase 1 as the global best particle of PSO to optimize the path.After simulating two special benchmark configurations and six practice configurations with special cases,the results of the study concluded that the proposed method is capable of handling small to large,simple to complex continuous environments,whereas it was very tedious for the previous method to achieve.

Designing Software to Analyze Sewing Process of Industrial knitted Products

In the textile industry,garment manufacturing contains four major pro-cesses containing cutting,sewing,ﬁnishing,and packaging.Sewing is the most crucial and intricate section,dealing with a large number of varied operations.A successful sewing process needs to be optimized regarding different factors,including time,sewing equipment,and skilled workers.Assembly lineﬂow is combined by a set of operations with a particular sequence.the utmost impor-tance of all garment industry is to arrange the workstations to minimize the num-ber of employees in order to produce at the best productive rate with the most reasonable cost,shortest time,and satisfying quality.In most garment factories,the production lines are balanced using the empirical judgment of the line man-agers.For the whole process the data of production time at each step,labor pro-ductivity,proper choices of equipment were always needed to calculate line efﬁciency.As far as the issue is concerned,there has not been an academically sewing process analyzing software providing adequate data of sewing motions and sewing time as the credible input for the line balancing tasks.towards this goal,this paper presents the results of research on optimizing academically self-built software to analyze the sewing process of knitted products applied to industrial production using Java programming language on Google tools.the results achieved by the software are not only to analyze sewing products and the technological sewing process,calculate the sewing time on the machine but also analyze the sewing activities of workers into manipulations,movements,and motions to calculate the preparation time for two typical knitted products,namely,Polo-Shirt and t-Shirt with the case studies at General textile Garment Joint Stock Company Hanoi and Star Fashion Company Limited.

Nonlinear stability of advanced sandwich cylindrical shells comprising porous functionally graded material and carbon nanotube reinforced composite layers under elevated temperature

the nonlinear stability of sandwich cylindrical shells comprising porous functionally graded material(FGM) and carbon nanotube reinforced composite(CNtRC)layers subjected to uniform temperature rise is investigated. two sandwich models corresponding to CNtRC and FGM face sheets are proposed. Carbon nanotubes(CNts) in the CNtRC layer are embedded into a matrix according to functionally graded distributions. the effects of porosity in the FGM and the temperature dependence of properties of all constituent materials are considered. the effective properties of the porous FGM and CNtRC are determined by using the modified and extended versions of a linear mixture rule, respectively. the basic equations governing the stability problem of thin sandwich cylindrical shells are established within the framework of the Donnell shell theory including the von k’arm’an-Donnell nonlinearity. these equations are solved by using the multi-term analytical solutions and the Galerkin method for simply supported shells.the critical buckling temperatures and postbuckling paths are determined through an iteration procedure. the study reveals that the sandwich shell model with a CNtRC core layer and relatively thin porous FGM face sheets can have the best capacity of thermal load carrying. In addition, unlike the cases of mechanical loads, porosities have beneficial effects on the nonlinear stability of sandwich shells under the thermal load. It is suggested that an appropriate combination of advantages of FGM and CNtRC can result in optimal efficiency for advanced sandwich structures.

One-loop formulas for H→Zνlνl for l=e, μ, τ in 't Hooft-Veltman gauge

In this paper,we present analytical results for one-loop contributions to the decay processes H→■(for l=e,μ,τ).the calculations are performed within the Standard Model framework in the ’t Hooft-Veltman gauge.One-loop form factors are then written in terms of scalar one-loop functions in the standard notations of Looptools.As a result,one-loop decay rates for the decay channels can be evaluated numerically by using the package.Furthermore,we analyze the signals of H→■l via the production processes e-e+→ZH*→Z(H*→■),including the initial beam polarizations at future lepton colliders.the Standard Model backgrounds,such as the processes e-e+→■,are also examined in this study.Numerical results indicate that one-loop corrections make contributions of approximately 10% to the decay rates.these are sizeable contributions and should be taken into account at future colliders.We show that the signals H→■l are clearly visible at the center-of-mass energy ■ =GeV and are difficult to probe in higher-energy regions owing to the dominant backgrounds.

BACkGROUND Preterm birth(PtB)is one of the main causes of neonatal deaths globally,with approximately 15million infants are born preterm.Women from the Black,Asian,and Minority Ethnic(BAME)populations maybe at higher risk of PtB,therefore,the mental health impact on mothers experiencing a PtB is particularly important,within the BAME populations.AIM to determine the prevalence of mental health conditions among BAME women with PtB as well as the methods of mental health assessments used to characterise the mental health outcomes.MEtHODS A systematic methodology was developed and published as a protocol in PROSPERO(CRD420-20210863).Multiple databases were used to extract relevant data.I2 and Egger's tests were used to detect the heterogeneity and publication bias.A trim and fill method was used to demonstrate the influence of publication bias and the credibility of conclusions.RESULtS thirty-nine studies met the eligibility criteria from a possible 3526.the prevalence rates of depression among PtB-BAME mothers were significantly higher than full-term mothers with a standardized mean difference of 1.5 and a 95%confidence interval(CI)29%-74%.the subgroup analysis indicated depressive symptoms to be time sensitive.Women within the very PtB category demonstrated a significantly higher prevalence of depression than those categorised as non-very PtB.the prevalence rates of anxiety and stress among PtB-BAME mothers were significantly higher than in full-term mothers(odds ratio of 88%and 60%with a CI of 42%-149%and 24%-106%,respectively).CONCLUSION BAME women with PtB suffer with mental health conditions.Many studies did not report on specific mental health outcomes for BAME populations.therefore,the impact of PtB is not accurately represented in this population,and thus could negatively influence the quality of maternity services they receive.
