This study proposed a novel object-based hybrid classification model named GMNN that combines Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm(GOA)and the multiple-class Neural network(MNN)for urban pattern detection in Hanoi,*** bands of SPOT 7 image and derivable NDVI,NDWI were used to generate image segments with associated attributes by PCI Geomatics *** segments were classified into four urban surface types(namely water,impervious surface,vegetation and bare soil)by the proposed ***,three training and validation datasets of different sizes were used to verify the robustness of this *** all tests,the overall accuracies of the classification were approximately 87%,and the Area under Receiver Operating Characteristic curves for each land cover type was ***,the performance of this model was examined by comparing several statistical indicators with common benchmark *** results showed that GMNN out-performed established methods in all comparable *** results suggested that our hybrid model was successfully deployed in the study area and could be used as an alternative classification method for urban land cover *** a broader sense,classification methods will be enriched with the active and fast-growing contribution of metaheuristic algorithms.

Anti-inflammatory effects of alkaloid enriched extract from roots of Eurycoma longifolia Jack

Objective: To examine the in vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory effects of the alkaloid enriched extract(ELA) from the roots of Eurycoma longifolia. Methods: The in vitro antiinflammatory effects of ELA were evaluated by examining its inhibitory activities against nitric oxide(NO) production and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iN OS) and cyclooxygenase2(COX-2) expressions in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. The level of NO produced in the culture media was determined by Griess method. The i NOS and COX-2 protein expressions were analyzed by Western blot. The in vivo effect of ELA was evaluated on LPS-induced septic shock in mice model. Mice mortality was monitored for5 days after injection of LPS. The chemical contents of the ELA were determined by using various chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques. Results: The ELA was found to exhibit a significant anti-inflammatory effect in both in vitro and in vivo models. The results demonstrated that ELA dose-dependently inhibited LPS-induced NO production as well as the protein iN OS and COX-2 expressions. In the septic shock model, ELA dose-dependently protected mice from LPS-induced mortality. Further study on the isolated components of ELA indicated that 9,10-dimethoxycanthin-6-one may contribute significantly to the antiinflammatory effects of the extract. Conclusions: These results suggest that ELA exhibits the anti-inflammatory activity via suppression of pro-inflammatory mediators such as NO, iN OS,and COX-2 and protects mice from LPS-induced mortality in septic shock model.

Background: Regular physical activity(PA) has documented effects in prevention and treatment of many non-communicable diseases(NCDs).Physical inactivity is recognized as the fourth leading risk factor for premature death, worldwide. Despite these facts, physical inactivity is increasing,not only in high-income, but also in middle-and low-income countries. To address this negative trend, evidence-based methods to increase PA are needed. The purpose of this paper is to describe the implementation and assessment of 4 strategies designed to increase PA in ***: Four strategies were used: i) introduction and evaluation of an education and training program on the Swedish method of Physical Activity on Prescription(PAP) among health care professionals, ii) translation of the PAP evidence-based handbook, Physical Activity in the Prevention and Treatment of Disease(called FYSS in Swedish) into Vietnamese, iii) launch of a mass-media campaign to promote PA, and iv)advocacy to support development of PA guidelines in ***: The evaluation indicated that the participating health care professionals had a positive attitude to PAP. However, they also reported uncertainty in prescribing PA. FYSS was translated and disseminated successfully to health care professionals. A mass-media campaign identified the beneficial effects of PA to health care professionals, journalists, policy makers, and the public. Last, the process of developing national guidelines on PA was ***: This project led to enhanced awareness and appreciation of PA in the prevention and treatment of NCDs among health care professionals as well as initiation of national PA guidelines. Important lessons also were learned in the presentation of PAP, which will be considered when designing similar projects in the future.

Electro-hydraulic actuators(EHA)have recently played a signiﬁcant role in modern industrial applications,especially in systems requiring extremely high *** can be explained by EHA’s ability to precisely control the position and force through advanced sensors and innovative control *** of the promising approaches to improve control accuracy for EHA systems is applying classical to modern control algorithms,in which the proportional–inte-gral–derivative(PID)algorithm,fuzzy logic controller,and a hybrid of these methods are popular *** this paper,we developed a novel version of the fuzzy control algorithm and linear feedback control method,namely fuzzy lin-ear feedback control,to improve the control *** achieve the highest performance,weﬁrst designed a mathematical EHA model based on the Matlab/Simulink software packages thanks to the selected parameters,which are similar to a real EHA ***,we respectively applied PID,fuzzy PID(FPID),and fuzzy linear feedback control(FLFC)before comparing them to have a full view of the outstanding advantages of the proposed *** simulation results showed that the proposed FLFC algorithm is approximately 99%and 77%super-ior in performance to the PID and feedback control algorithms,respectively.

Taking as its point of departure the problems which English-majored students face when confronted directly with the course in literature at university,this study was conducted mainly through an analysis of student-and-teacher responses to questionnaires together with document analysis and reviews on the author’s experience in teaching and managing literary courses at his *** sample includes 10 teachers in charge of the courses and 150 students attending these courses from five *** findings indicate that the teaching and learning of literature in the English language curriculum at these universities is facing certain problems,among which are:limited experience of mother tongue literature;limited experience of literary language;limited experience of English or American literature;and limited experience or knowledge of the world,life,*** the implications identified,the findings of this paper are believed to yield further insights into the improvement of literature teaching and learning at university in Vietnamese contexts.

Fundraising Capacity of HIV/AIDS Community-Based Organizations in 3 Years (2017-2019) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

HIV/AIDS is still an important public health issue in Vietnam and other developing countries. In Vietnam, Community-based organizations (CBOs) were officially considered as the key partners to approach vulnerable groups at high risks of HIV infection since 2010. Funds for HIV/AIDS prevention and control are facing difficulties due to rapid reduction by international organizations, while domestic funding has not yet met the demand, especially funding for prevention and communication activities. Our study aimed to assess the fundraising capacity of several CBOs in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and analyze the challenges that they are facing now and in future in their work of HIV/AIDS management for community. The 03 typical and representative CBOs (G3VN, Smile and Strong Ladies) were chosen in our cross-sectional descriptive study. The electronic questionnaire was about fundraising reports over 3 years (2017-2019), organization structure (staff, mission, strategies) and the advantages and disadvantages in fundraising. Funds received over the year increased in total, but unstable in each projects. To have more funds, CBOs must invest time and money to have professional staff in fundraising and writing proposals. To meet requirement and survive, some CBO shifted to social enterprises and faced many difficulties in laws when being treated like profit companies. In Vietnam context, the key challenges which affect the role of funding are including: 1) Legal status;2) Small scale;3) Capacity of fundraising (finding calls, writing competence proposals);4) Fewer funds on HIV/AIDS. In future, we should pay attention in scaling up and building fundraising capacity for CBOs in order to help them in applying for international funds in community projects or even in HIV/AIDS research for CBOs, social enterprises in the context of funds for nation-level phased out of Vietnam.

为了改善渤海湾海洋疏浚泥渗透性差和排水固结时间长的不足,引入化学絮凝结合真空预压的地基处理方法.首先分析了山东东营地区疏浚泥的矿物成分与物理性质,然后采用两种不同的絮凝剂进行了沉降柱试验与真空预压模型试验.结果表明:絮凝剂APAM添加量越大,混液面沉降速度越快,在添加量为15%时速度最快,约5 min内沉降基本稳定;絮凝剂CaO添加量越大,混液面沉降速度越慢,当添加量越过某一值(10%)时,最终混液面基本保持不变;真空预压排水速率并非絮凝剂添加量越大越快,絮凝剂CaO添加量为0.6%时速率最快,絮凝剂APAM添加量为15%时速率最快.研究成果对于东营疏浚泥地基处理工程实践具有一定的指导意义.

Ben Tre, located in the Mekong Delta, is one of the most places affected by climate change, especially in sea level rise and salinity intrusion. For the seven provinces bordering the East Sea, the need for monitoring water resources is critical. This paper represents an approach to build a web-based GIS to store, manage, analyze and visualize the data of saline intrusion phenomenon. The novelty focuses on automating the workflow for the generation and publication of time series saline intrusion maps on server side. The analysis results are provided on the web browser interface. This helps users access valuable information without having to install professional GIS software. Spatial distribution of saline intrusion and statistical results support government agencies in planning and decision making. This work is funded by Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).

随着全球社会进入知识经济和国际一体化时代,世界造纸业的竞争形势也发生了巨大的变化,与此同时随着越南宏观经济的快速发展,越南的造纸业也进入了快速增长的阶段,成为推动越南国民经济快速发展的重要力量。越南造纸业的高速增长吸引了大量外国投资者来争夺利润,这给越南本土造纸业的发展带来了巨大的机遇和挑战,同时带给越南的政府和企业借鉴国外优秀企业先进的管理手段和丰富的经验的机会。对一个企业来说,人力资源是构成企业管理的要素之一,人力资源管理被视为企业的战略因素。企业用工制度是人力资源管理的重要部分,做好企业用工制度就是做好企业的人力资源管理。越南本土纸类企业在用工制度方面存在很多问题,还没有很好地实现人力资源的目标。根据以上情况分析,本文对越南平阳省工业区三家纸业公司（上海正隆纸业公司、日本王子制纸公司、越南安平纸业公司）的用工制度进行分析和比较研究。在具体研究中,本文采用理论分析和案例分析相结合的研究方法。首先从劳动关系理论,人力资源管理理论,需要层次理论,双因素理论和公平理论,分析了上海正隆纸业,日本王子纸业,越南安平纸业公司的用工制度的状况,分析各个不同企业的用工制度形式差别。其次,从这三家企业的用工制度在四个方面:从员工招聘,薪酬制定,福利发放和员工培训进行比较。在员工招聘方面,本文比较招聘数量、种类、渠道和招聘流程;在薪酬制定方面,本文将以这三家企业的平均薪酬为基础,利用问卷调查法,运用SPSS软件进行这三家企业的员工对三家企业的薪酬满意度的比较;在福利发放方面,本文将利用问卷调查结果和越南劳动法改革,进行每个企业在福利方面的各个因素的分析和比较;在员工培养方面,本文从企业不同的用工制度模型,分析和比较每个企业的人才培养政策、过程、时间和结果。最后根据三家企业用工制度不同点,提出现存的问题和原因,针对其中存在的问题,从社会和企业两个层面提出具有针对性的一些建议,包括:完善劳动法律法规、优化劳动力市场建设、转变政府职能,以及探索新型用工制度、完善职工权益保护制度、塑造以人为本的企业文化、完善职工培训机制、完善职工薪酬制度、完善职工招聘制度。希望通过本文的研究分析,能够对越南纸类企业用工制度产生积极、有效的影响。
