The type of technology used to strengthen the surface structure of machine parts,typically by carbon-permeation,has made a great contribution to the mechanical engineering industry because of its outstanding advantages in corrosion resistance and enhanced mechanical and physical ***,carbon permeation is considered as an optimal method of heat treatment through the diffusion of carbon atoms into the surface of alloy *** study presented research results on the thermodynamic calculation and simulation of the carbon permeability *** Fick’s law,the paper calculated the distribution of carbon concentration in the alloy steel after it is absorbed from the surface into the internal of the *** the SYSWELD software,an analysis was performed on the carbon permeability process to determine the distribution of carbon concentrations in 20CrMo steel that was then followed by a detailed analysis of the microstructure of the sample post the carburizing *** to the calculation results,the surface carbon content was 0.9%and steadily decreased into the *** 3 hours,the depth of the absorbent layer was measured at 0.5 mm for both the cylindrical and cubic *** analyzing the phase,the distribution of martensite phases such as ferrite/pearlite and residual austenite was also determined after the carburizing process.

Fruit stored in poor conditions undergo biochemical degradations that impact fruit physical qualities, such color and firmness, and reduce beneficial nutritional content including vitamins, flavonoids, phenols, and antioxi-dants. This study investigated the impact of a postharvest treatment of mandarins with edible coatings to prevent biochemical degradations and minimize color changes. The edible coating evaluated in this study is a composite of pregelatinized corn starch (PS), with a cellulose nano fiber (CF) Pickering emulsifier, and is enriched with basil essential oil (EO). The results of varying each parameter were then analyzed by the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to identify the best-performing edible coating. Using this method, the leading edible coating was identified as PS5EO3 formulized from 5% pregelatinized corn starch, 3% basil essential oil and 0.5% cellulose nanofiber, with a ranking of 0.721 based on quality content, and 0.676 based on percentage change in nutrients after the 12 days of storage at 25 degrees C. Mandarins coated with PS5EO3 significantly suppressed quality losses, and achieving the lowest losses of citric acid (10.45%), while maintaining color stability in terms of color density (14.97%) and percent polymer color (78.14%).

Synthesis, Antioxidant and Antimicrobial Activities of a Novel Series of Chalcones, Pyrazolic Chalcones, and Allylic Chalcones

A new series of chalcones (4a-c) and allylicchalcones (11a-b) have been prepared by the Claisen-Schmidt condensation. A novel series of pyrazolicchalcones (5a-c) have been synthesized by the reaction of respective chalcones (4a-c) and hydrazine hydrate. The structures of the compounds were confirmed by spectral data (infrared spectroscopy and 1h nuclear magnetic resonance). All of the compounds (4/5a-c and 11a-b) have been tested for their antimicrobial activities (agar disc-diffusion method) and antioxidant activities (1,1-biphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging method). The test compounds failed to show antibacterial properties (4a-c, 5b, and 11a-b) or exhibited such properties poorly (5a and 5c). None of the test compounds displayed antifungal properties. Of the compounds tested, compounds 5a-c and 11a-b exhibited promising antioxidant activities.

The Bi-Tm co-doped SiO-AlO-LaO(SAL) glasses,which exhibited a broadband near-infrared emission was investigated by the optical absorption and photoluminescence *** super broadband near-infrared emission from 1000 to 2100 nm,covering the whole O,E,S,C,and L bands,was observed in the Bi-Tm co-doped samples,as a result of the overlap of the Bi-related emission band(centered at 1270 nm) and the emission from Tm h→F transition(1440 nm) as well as Tm F→h transition(1800 nm).Relative luminescence intensity at 1270,1440 and 1800 nm wavelength varies depending on the mixing ratio of Bi and Tm,and the full width at half-maximum(FWhM) extending from 1000 to 1600 could be 400 *** results indicated that Bi-Tm co-doped SiO-AlO-LaO glasses could provide potential applications in tunable lasers as well as the broadband optical amplifiers in WDM system.

为了探明烘焙工艺参数对咖啡豆品质的影响,研究了烘焙程度对越南罗巴斯达咖啡豆中生物胺种类和生物胺含量的影响。采用高效液相色谱法测定不同烘焙条件下6种生物活性胺的含量。试验结果表明:在咖啡生豆中存在4种生物活性胺,生物胺总含量为5.253 mg/100 g。烘焙处理使咖啡豆生物活性胺含量先减少后增加,其中以维也纳式烘焙生物胺总含量最低,0.6 mg/100 g;到西班牙式烘焙,生物胺含量增加到1.33 mg/100 g。到法式烘焙时出现组胺,并且随烘焙程度的加深,组胺含量逐渐增高。到西班牙式烘焙时组胺含量达0.29 mg/100 g。

Background:Guidelines recommend that hepatocellular carcinoma(hCC)patients with portal vein tumor thrombosis(PVTT)and/or hepatic vein tumor thrombosis(hVTT)should undergo systemic ***,recent data suggest that surgical resection may be beneficial in selected cases,but outcomes are *** aimed to estimate pooled overall survival(OS),recurrence free survival(RFS)and complication rates in hCC patients with macrovascular invasion(MVI)following surgical ***:In this systematic review and meta-analysis,two investigators independently searched PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane databases from inception to Nov 10,2020,without language restrictions,for studies reporting outcomes of adult hCC patients with MVI who underwent liver resection with curative ***:We screened 8,598 articles and included 40 studies involving 8,218 *** all patients with MVI,the pooled median OS was 14.39 months[95%confidence interval(CI):10.99-18.84],1-year OS was 54.47%(95%CI:46.12-62.58%)and 3-year OS was 23.20%(95%CI:16.61-31.42%).Overall,1-and 3-year RFS were 27.70%(95%CI:21.00-35.57%)and 10.06%(95%CI:6.62-15.01%),*** patients with PVTT,median OS was 20.41 months in those with segmental/2nd order involvement compared to 12.91 months if 1st order branch was involved and 6.41 months if the main trunk was *** pooled rate of major complications was 6.17%(95%CI:3.53-10.56%).Conclusions:Overall median survival was 14.39 months for hCC patients with MVI following *** survival was higher in PVTT with segmental/2nd order involvement at 20.41 versus 6.41 months if the main trunk was involved.

本文研究利用激光熔覆方法在h13热作模具钢表面制备Cu/TiB2复合涂层,实现对其表面性能的提高,特别是对高温摩擦磨损性能的改善。通过系统实验,研究了激光工艺参数、TiB2含量对涂层组织和性能的影响,并对直接添加TiB2强化颗粒和原位自生TiB2颗粒两种涂层的组织和性能进行了对比。得到主要研究结果如下:采用正交实验法研究工艺参数和TiB2添加量对涂层组织和性能的影响,TiB2的最佳添加量为30wt%,此时,优化的涂层制备工艺参数为激光功率995W、激光扫描速度10mm/s、激光离焦量35mm。涂层厚度约为600～700μm,涂层硬度明显提高,约为550～650hV0.5,并沿深度方向逐渐降低,热影响区的硬度先增加后迅速降低到基体硬度,最高能达到672hV0.5。采用高温摩擦磨损实验和热震实验对激光熔覆涂层的摩擦磨损性能进行评价。实验结果表明,熔覆层能显著提高h13钢表面耐高温摩擦磨损能力,性能提高了一倍。涂层经过100次热冲击而不产生开裂和剥落现象。利用激光熔覆可原位合成TiB2颗粒强化Cu基复合涂层,原位合成的TiB2颗粒弥散分布于涂层中,涂层的硬度随(Ti+B)含量的增多而增加,最高硬度可达到600hV0.5。高温摩擦磨损性能随(Ti+B)含量的增多而明显改善。涂层经100次热震后仍然保持良好,未发现涂层剥落现象。两种制备方法所获得的涂层组织和性能对比结果表明,直接添加TiB2强化颗粒涂层具有更高的硬度,更好的高温耐摩擦磨损能力,而原位自生TiB2颗粒涂层具有更均匀的组织结构,更佳的耐热震性能。

Background:Conjunctival lymphoma,conjunctival amyloidosis and benign reactive lymphoid hyperplasia(BRLh)are conditions that often have a similar appearance on the ocular *** use of high resolution anterior segment optical coherence tomography(hR-OCT)enables clinicians to evaluate distinctive differences in tissue morphology and cellular patterns in various ocular surface *** this study,we characterize the morphological differences seen in conjunctival lymphoma,conjunctival amyloidosis and BRLh on hR-OCT ***:A retrospective chart review was performed of patients with biopsy proven conjunctival lymphoma,conjunctival amyloidosis and BRLh between 2012 and 2019 at the Bascom Palmer Eye *** were excluded if hR-OCT imaging was not performed on initial ***:Thirty-four total eyes of 27 patients were *** eyes had conjunctival lymphoma(16 patients),8 eyes had conjunctival amyloidosis(6 patients)and 6 eyes had BRLh(5 patients).All conditions appeared clinically as pink,red or yellow subepithelial lesions but had different features on *** lymphoma,hR-OCT images typically showed homogenous,dark subepithelial lesions with smooth borders,containing monomorphic dot-like ***-OCT images of amyloidosis typically showed heterogeneous,dark lesions with irregular borders,often containing hyperreflective linear ***-OCT images of BRLh showed variable infiltration of the subepithelial tissue,at times with homogenous lesions containing dot-like infiltrates like lymphoma and other times with more hyperreflective,subepithelial *** cytometry and gene rearrangement was needed for final differentiation between BRLh and lymphoma ***:Distinctive features on hR-OCT of conjunctival lymphoma,conjunctival amyloidosis and BRLh can help characterize these lesions beyond what is apparent with the clinical *** studies can further validate this technology’s use with m
