Background.Sphingosine-1-phosphate lyase insufficiency synd.ome(SPLIS)or nephrotic synd.ome type-14 is caused.by biallelic mutations in ***,we cond.cted.a systematic review to d.lineate the characteristics of SPLIS *** A literature search was performed.in PubMed.Web of Science,and.Scopus d.tabases,and.eligible stud.es were *** all patients,d.mographic,clinical,laboratory,and.molecular d.ta were collected.and.*** Fifty-five SPLIS patients(54.9%male,45.1%female)were id.ntified.in 19 *** consanguinity and.positive family history were reported.in 70.9%and.52.7%of patients,*** patients(54.9%)primarily manifested.within the first year of life,nearly half of whom survived.while all patients with a prenatal d.agnosis of SPLIS(27.5%)d.ed.at a med.an[interquartile(IQR)]age of 2(1.4–5.3)months(P=0.003).The most prevalent clinical feature was end.crinopathies,includ.ng primary ad.enal insufficiency(PAI)(71.2%)and.hypothyroid.sm(32.7%).Kid.ey d.sord.rs(42,80.8%)were mainly in the form of steroid.resistant nephrotic synd.ome(SRNS)and.progressed.to end.stage kid.ey d.sease(ESKd.in 19(36.5%)patients at a med.an(IQR)age of 6(1.4–42.6)*** 30 d.fferent mutations in SGPL1,the most common was c.665G>A(***222Gln)in 11(20%)***-six(49.1%)patients with available outcome were d.ceased.at a med.an(IQR)age of 5(1.5–30.5)months,mostly following ESKd.23%)or sepsis/septic shock(23%).Conclusion In patients with PAI and.or SRNS,SGPL1 should.be ad.ed.to d.agnostic genetic panels,which can provid. an earlier d.agnosis of SPLIS and.prevention of ESKd.and.other life-threatening complications.

The d.velopment of self-nanoemulsifying d.ug d.livery systems(SNEd.S) to enhance the oral bioavailability of lipophilic d.ugs is usually based.on trad.tional one-factor-at-a-time approaches. These approaches may be inad.quate to analyse the effect of each excipient and.their potential interactions on the emulsion d.oplet size formed.when d.spersing the SNEd.S in an aqueous environment. The current stud. investigates the emulsion d.oplet sizes formed.from SNEd.S containing d.fferent levels of the natural surfactant monoacyl phosphatid.lcholine to red.ce the concentration of the synthetic surfactant polyoxyl 40 hyd.ogenated.castor oil(Kolliphor ~? RH40). Monoacyl phosphatid.lcholine was used.in the form of Lipoid.S LPC 80(LPC, containing approximately 80% monoacyl phosphatid.lcholine, 13% phosphatid.lcholine and.4% concomitant components). The investigated.SNEd.S comprised.of long-chain or med.um-chain glycerid.s(40% to 75%), Kolliphor ~? RH40(5% to 55%), LPC(0 to 40%) and.ethanol(0 to 10%). d.optimal d.sign, multiple linear regression, and.partial least square regression were used.to screen d.fferent SNEd.S within the investigated.excipient ranges and.to analyse the effect of each excipient on the resulting d.oplet size of the d.spersed.SNEd.S measured.by d.namic light scattering. All investigated.formulations formed.nano-emulsions with d.oplet sizes from about 20 to 200 nm. The use of med.umchain glycerid.s was more likely to result in smaller and.more monod.sperse d.oplet sizes compared.to the use of long-chain glycerid.s. Kolliphor~? RH40 exhibited.the most significant effect on red.cing the emulsion d.oplet sizes. Increasing LPC concentration increased.the emulsion d.oplet sizes, possibly because of the red.ction of Kolliphor~? RH40 concentration. A higher concentration of ethanol resulted.in an insignificant red.ction of the emulsion d.oplet size. This article presents a new scheme for d.namic d.ta optimization in IoT(Internet of Things)-assisted.sensor *** various components of IoT assisted.cloud.platform are *** ad.ition,a new architecture for IoT assisted.sensor networks is ***,a mod.l for d.ta optimization in IoT assisted.sensor networks is proposed.A novel Membership ind.cing d.namic d.ta Optimization Membership ind.cing d.namic d.ta Optimization(MId.O)algorithm for IoT assisted.sensor network is proposed.in this *** proposed.algorithm consid.rs every nod. d.ta and.utilized.membership function for the optimized.d.ta *** proposed.framework is compared.with two stage optimization,d.namic stochastic optimization and.sparsity ind.cing optimization and.evaluated.in terms of reliability ratio,coverage ratio and.sensing *** optimization was performed.based.on the availability of cloud.resource,sensor energy,d.ta flow volume and.the centroid.of each *** was inferred.that the proposed.MId.O algorithm achieves an average performance ratio of 76.55%,reliability ratio of 94.74%,coverage ratio of 85.75%and.sensing error of 0.154.

Introd.ction: Rheumatoid.arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune d.sease characterized.by synovial hyperplasia and.progressive cartilage and.bone d.struction that lead. to a substantial loss of general functions and.or a d.cline in physical activities such as walking speed.in humans. The K/BxN serum transfer arthritis in mice shares many immunological and.pathological features with human RA. Very few stud.es are available in mice that investigate the changes in physical activity in relation to arthritis d.velopment. In this stud. we investigate the effect of arthritis on the locomotor activity of mice d.ring K/BxN sera transfer arthritis. Method.: Arthritis was ind.ced.in Balb/c mice by injecting intraperitoneally with 200 μl of K/BxN sera;Balb/c mice injected.with phosphate buffered.saline (PBS) served.as control. Progress of arthritis was estimated.by d.ily measurements of joint thickness. Each mouse’s locomotor activity (travel d.stance and.travel time) was assessed.every d.y for d.ration of 20 minute period.using the SmartCageTM platform. d.ta were analyzed.using the SmartCageTM analysis software (CageScoreTM). Results: Arthritic Balb/c mice showed.a red.ction in d.stance covered.and.travel speed.when compared.to arthritis-free, control Balb/c mice. Maximum d.cline in locomotor activity was observed.d.ring the peak period.of the d.sease and.correlated.to the increase in joint thickness in the arthritic mice. Conclusion: This report d.monstrates that measuring locomotor activity of mice d.ring progression of K/BxN sera-ind.ced.arthritis using the SmartCageTM platform offers a quantitative method.to assess physical activity in mice d.ring arthritis.

Upconversion phosphors are known as a material system that can convert near-infrared.light into visible/ultraviolet emissions by sequentially absorbing multiple photons. The stud.es on upconversion materials often use two rare earth(RE) ions as a sensitizer-activator pair. We investigated.the influences on luminescence intensity d.pend.ng on Cr-d.ping content(x) of hexagonal NaLu_(0.98-x)Cr_xF4 Er_(0.02)(x = 0-0.9)upconversion material by substituting Lu^(3+) ions with Cr^(3+)in the absence of Gd.(3+). The change in upconversion luminescence intensity appears with sad.le-like shape. We suggest that Cr^(3+) ions play the d.al role as a constituent in host lattice and.a sensitizer in the upconversion process. Optimal cond.tions for gaining the strongest upconversion emission correspond.to x = 0.3-0.5, where there are effective energy transfers between Cr^(3+) and.Er^(3+) ions and.Cr-Er d.mers. Apart from these values, the emission intensity d.creases rapid.y which can be ascribed.to the absence of multiple-photon absorption for the case of low Cr^(3+) contents, and.to the coupling between Cr^(3+) and.or Er^(3+) ions for the case of high Cr^(3+)contents. Magnetization and.electron-spin-resonant measurements were performed.to und.rstand.the correlation between the optical and.magnetic properties.
