Buckling rest.ained knee braced t.uss moment.frame （BRKBt.F） is a novel and innovat.ve st.el st.uct.ral sy.t.m t.at.ut.lizes t.e advant.ges of long-span t.usses and dedicat.d st.uct.ral fuses for seismic applicat.ons. St.el t.usses are very.economical and effect.ve in spanning large dist.nce. However, convent.onal st.el t.usses are t.pically.not.suit.ble for seismic applicat.on, due t. it. lack of duct.lit. and poor energy.dissipat.on capacit.. BRKBt.F ut.lizes buckling rest.ained braces （BRBs） as t.e designat.d st.uct.ral fuses t. dissipat. t.e sudden surge of eart.quake energy. t.is allows t.e BRKBt.F t. economically.and efficient.y.creat. large span st.uct.ral sy.t.ms for seismic applicat.ons. In t.is paper, a prot.t.pe BRKBt.F office building locat.d in Berkeley. California, USA, was designed using performance-based plast.c design procedure. t.e seismic performance of t.e prot.t.pe building was assessed using t.e st.t.-of-t.e-art.finit. element.soft.are, OpenSees. Det.iled BRB hy.t.resis and advanced element.removal t.chnique was implement.d. t.e modeling approach allows t.e simulat.on for t.e force-deformat.on response of t.e BRB and t.e force redist.ibut.on wit.in t.e sy.t.m aft.r t.e BRBs fract.re. t.e developed finit. element.model was analy.ed using increment.l dy.amic analy.is approach t. quant.fy.t.e seismic performance of BRKBt.F. t.e result. show BRKBt.F has excellent.seismic performance wit. well cont.olled st.uct.ral responses and resist.nce against.collapse. In addit.on, life cy.le repair cost.of BRKBt.F was assessed using t.e next.generat.on performance-based eart.quake engineering framework. t.e result. confirm t.at.BRKBt.F can effect.vely.cont.ol t.e st.uct.ral and non-st.uct.ral component.damages and minimize t.e repair cost. of t.e st.uct.re under different.ranges of eart.quake shaking int.nsit.es. t.is st.dies conclude t.at.BRKBt.F is a viable and effect.ve seismic force resist.ng sy.t.m.

We present.resolved Giant.Met.ewave Radio t.lescope H I observat.ons of t.e high gas-phase met.llicit. dwarf galaxy.WISEA J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(hereaft.r J2306) and invest.gat. whet.er it.could be a t.dal Dwarf Galaxy.t.G) candidat.. t.Gs are observed t. have higher met.llicit.es t.an normal dwarfs. J2306 has an unusual combinat.on of a blue g-r color of 0.23 mag, irregular opt.cal morphology.and high-met.llicit.(12 +log(O/H) = 8.68 ± 0.14), making it.an int.rest.ng galaxy.t. st.dy.in more det.il. We find J2306 t. be an H I rich galaxy.wit. a large ext.nded, unpert.rbed rot.t.ng H I disk. Using our H I dat. we est.mat.d it. dy.amical mass and found t.e galaxy.t. be dark mat.er(DM) dominat.d wit.in it. H I radius. t.e quant.t. of DM, inferred from it. dy.amical mass, appears t. rule out.J2306 as an evolved t.G. A wide area environment.search reveals J2306 t. be isolat.d from any.larger galaxies which could have been t.e source of it. high gas met.llicit.. Addit.onally. t.e H I morphology.and kinemat.cs of t.e galaxy.show no indicat.on of a recent.merger t. explain t.e *** det.iled opt.cal spect.oscopic observat.ons of J2306 might.provide an answer t. how a seemingly.ordinary.irregular dwarf galaxy.achieved such a high level of met.l enrichment.
