Development and validation of a model integrating clinical and coronary lesion-based functional assessment for longterm risk prediction in PCI patients

OBJECTIVES To establish a scoring system combining the ACEF score and the quantitative blood flow ratio(QFR) to improve the long-term risk prediction of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS In this population-based cohort study, a total of 46 features, including patient clinical and coronary lesion characteristics, were assessed for analysis through machine learning models. The ACEF-QFR scoring system was developed using 1263consecutive cases of CAD patients after PCI in PANDA Ⅲ trial database. The newly developed score was then validated on the other remaining 542 patients in the *** In both the Random Forest Model and the Deep Surv Model, age, renal function(creatinine), cardiac function(LVEF)and post-PCI coronary physiological index(QFR) were identified and confirmed to be significant predictive factors for 2-year adverse cardiac events. The ACEF-QFR score was constructed based on the developmental dataset and computed as age(years)/EF(%) + 1(if creatinine ≥ 2.0 mg/d L) + 1(if post-PCI QFR ≤ 0.92). The performance of the ACEF-QFR scoring system was preliminarily evaluated in the developmental dataset, and then further explored in the validation dataset. The ACEF-QFR score showed superior discrimination(C-statistic = 0.651;95% CI: 0.611-0.691, P < 0.05 versus post-PCI physiological index and other commonly used risk scores) and excellent calibration(Hosmer–Lemeshow χ^(2)= 7.070;P = 0.529) for predicting 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint(POCE). Changes in immunological function after treatment with transarterial chemoembolization plus radiofrequency ablation in hepatocellular carcinoma patients

Background Different strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） may have distinct effects on the immune *** aim of this research was to investigate changes in the immunological function after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization （TACE） plus radiofrequency ablation （RFA） in HCC *** A total of 51 consecutive HCC treatment-naive patients was enrolled in this study and 20 healthy subjects served as *** therapeutic strategy was selected according to the tumor stage and general *** was performed in 25 cases,TACE plus RFA in 17 and RFA in *** the patients underwent routine examinations and peripheral blood was harvested for the detection of lymphocyte subset by flow cytometry 1 day before,and 2 and 4 weeks after the *** serum levels of alpha-fetoprotein （AFP）,ALT and AST were also measured before and 4 weeks after treatment for the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy and liver function *** When compared with healthy controls,the CD4/CD8 ratio and the number of B cells and natural killer （NK） cells were significantly decreased in HCC patients before treatment （P 〈0.05）.When compared with before treatment,the CD4＋ cells and CD4/CD8 ratio decreased but CD8＋ cells increased in the TACE group （P 〈0.05）; the CD4/CD8 ratio and NK cells decreased but CD8＋ cells increased in the TACE-RFA group （P 〈0.05）; the CD3＋ cells,CD4＋ cells,CD4/CD8 ratio and NK cells increased in the RFA group （P 〈0.05）.Significant differences in the CD3＋ cells,CD8＋ cells,CD4/CD8 ratio and NK cells were observed among groups （P 〈0.05）.Moreover,the AFP level decreased and transaminase level increased in all groups （P 〈0.05）.Differences of pre and post treatment between groups were statistically significant （P =0.016,0.025,0.018 respectively）.Conclusions Immunity was compromised in HCC patients; TACE and TACE plus RFA lowered immunologic function to a certain *** improved it accompanied by a protective effect on liver function.

AlO2: A novel two-dimensional material with a high negative Poisson's ratio for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds

We propose and investigate a novel stable two-dimensional（2D） AlO2with anomalous stoichiometric ratios based on first-principles calculation. 2D AlO2has metallic properties. It possesses the rare in-plane and out-of-plane negative Poisson's ratio（NPR） phenomenon, originating from its special sawtooth-like structure. The absolute value of the NPR decreases as the number of layers increases. The adsorption of volatile organic compounds（VOCs） including CH2O, C2H3Cl and C6H6by AlO2exhibit small adsorption distance, large adsorption energy, large charge transfer and significant density of states（DOS） changes,indicating the presence of strong interactions. The desorption time of each gas molecule on the AlO2surface is also evaluated, and the results further suggest that the desorption of VOCs can be controlled by changing the temperature to achieve the recycling of AlO2. These interesting properties make 2D AlO2a promising material for electronic, mechanical and sensing applications for VOCs.

Air pollution in China covers a large area with complex sources and formation mechanisms,making it a unique place to conduct air pollution and atmospheric chemistry *** National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Major Research Plan entitled“Fundamental Researches on the Formation and Response Mechanism of the Air Pollution Complex in China”(or the Plan)has funded 76 research projects to explore the causes of air pollution in China,and the key processes of air pollution in atmospheric physics and atmospheric *** order to summarize the abundant data from the Plan and exhibit the long-term impacts domestically and internationally,an integration project is responsible for collecting the various types of data generated by the 76 projects of the *** project has classified and integrated these data,forming eight categories containing 258 datasets and 15 technical reports in *** integration project has led to the successful establishment of the China Air Pollution Data Center(CAPDC)platform,providing storage,retrieval,and download services for the eight *** platform has distinct features including data visualization,related project information querying,and bilingual services in both English and Chinese,which allows for rapid searching and downloading of data and provides a solid foundation of data and support for future related *** pollution control in China,especially in the past decade,is undeniably a global exemplar,and this data center is the first in China to focus on research into the country’s air pollution complex.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis,a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes.A fungal metabolon,comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe G,is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide *** notoamide E as a substance,Spe F/Spe G metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation,followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium ***,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol *** provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.
