Lithium-sulfur batteries are severely restricted by low electronic conductivity of sulfur and Li_(2)S,shuttle effect,and slow conversion reaction of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs).Herein,we report a facile and highyield strategy for synthesizing dual-core single-atom catalyst(ZnCoN_(4)O_(2)/CN)with atomically dispersed nitrogen/oxygen-coordinated Zn-Co sites on carbon *** on density functional theory(DFT)calculations and LiPSs conversion catalytic ability,ZnCoN_(4)O_(2)/CN provides dual-atom sites of Zn and Co,which could facilitate Li^(+)transport and Li_(2)S diffusion,and catalyze LiPSs conversion more effectively than homonuclear bimetallic single-atom catalysts or their simple mixture and previously reported singleatom ***-S cell with ZnCoN_(4)O_(2)/CN modified separator showed excellent rate performance(789.4 mA h g^(-1)at 5 C)and stable long cycle performance(0.05%capacity decay rate at 6C with 1000cycles,outperforming currently reported single atomic catalysts for LiPSs *** work highlights the important role of metal active centers and provides a strategy for producing multifunctional dual-core single atom catalysts for high-performance Li-S cells.

Vocal communication plays an important role in survival,reproduction,and animal social *** and mammals produce com-plex vocal sequence to convey context-dependent *** are conspicuous features of the behavior of most anuran species(frogs and toads),and males usually alter their calling strategies according to ecological context to improve the attractiveness/***,very few studies have focused on the variation of vocal sequence in *** the present study,we used both conventional method and network analysis to investigate the context-dependent vocal repertoire,vocal sequence,and call network structure in serrate-legged small treefrogs Kurixalus *** found that male *** modified their vocal sequence by switching to different call types and increasing repertoire size in the presence of a competitive ***,compared with before and after the playback of advertisement calls,males emited fewer advertisement calls,but more aggressive calls,encounter calls,and compound calls during the playback *** analysis revealed that the mean degree,mean closeness,and mean betweenness of the call networks significantly decreased during the playback period,which resulted in lower *** addition,the increased proportion of one-way motifs and average path length also indicated that the connectivity of the call network decreased in competitive ***,the vocal sequence of *** did not display a clear small-world network structure,regardless of *** study presents a paradigm to apply network analysis to vocal sequence in anurans and has important implications for understanding the evolution and function of sequence patterns.

Metal sulfide nanomaterials have attracted great interest because of their excellent properties and promising applications in sensing,energy harvesting,magnetic and optoelectronic devices,especially their well-aligned crystalline nanostructures are highly desirable for the enhanced performance and novel *** this study,the cobalt monosulfide(CoS)nanofibers with uniform shape and good crystallinity were firstly obtained via electrospinning and atmospheric calcination routes under controllable *** was found that the CoS nanofibers exhibited ethanol sensing properties at the optimum working temperature of 200℃,the response was 11.6 toward 100×10^(-6) ethanol gas,and the CoS nanofibersbased sensor exhibits a short response time and recovery time of 5 and 6 s at the optimum temperature,respectively,the result also shows that the sensor has good stability after 50 days,which would be a favorable characteristic as a promising *** addition,the Pauli paramagnetic property of CoS nanofibers was also investigated at room temperature.

Metal oxide semiconductor heterojunctions(MOSHs)can enhance the performance of ethanol gas sen-sors *** gas sensors based on MOSHs are cost-effective and have excellent sensing response,good selectivity,fast response and recovery,long-term stability or repeatability,a low operating temperature,a facile fabrica-tion process,and versatile *** paper reviews the recent advances in gas sensors that are based on MOSHs and the advantages of using them to detect ethanol *** to the literature,compared with ethanol gas sen-sors that use single-component sensing materials,the MOSHs exhibit superior performance due to the synergy between the different components,which can amplify the reception and transduction components of the sensor *** the best of our knowledge,heterojunctions can be grouped into four main categories as metal oxide/metal oxide,metal oxide/metal sulfide,metal oxide/noble metal,and metal oxide/other materials,including rare-earth metals,g-C_(3)N_(4),and graphene,*** future trends and challenges that would be faced in the development of ethanol gas sensors based on MOSHs are discussed in ***,critical ideas and thinking regarding the future progress of MOSH-based gas sensors are presented.

Neutron radiography is a crucial nondestructive testing technology widely used in the aerospace,military,and nuclear ***,because of the physical limitations of neutron sources and collimators,the resulting neutron radiographic images inevitably exhibit multiple distortions,including noise,geometric unsharpness,and white ***,these distortions are particularly significant in compact neutron radiography systems with low neutron ***,in this study,we devised a multi-distortion suppression network that employs a modified generative adversarial network to improve the quality of degraded neutron radiographic *** neutron radiographic image datasets with various types and levels of distortion were built for the first time as multi-distortion suppression ***,the coordinate attention mechanism was incorporated into the backbone network to augment the capability of the proposed network to learn the abstract relationship between ideally clear and degraded *** experiments were performed;the results show that the proposed method can effectively suppress multiple distortions in real neutron radiographic images and achieve state-of-theart perceptual visual quality,thus demonstrating its application potential in neutron radiography.

Background Intestinal barrier is a dynamic interface between the body and the ingested food components, however, dietary components or xenobiotics could compromise intestinal integrity, causing health risks to the host. Gossypol, a toxic component in cottonseed meal(CSM), caused intestinal injury in fish or other monogastric animals. It has been demonstrated that probiotics administration benefits the intestinal barrier integrity, but the efficacy of probiotics in maintaining intestinal health when the host is exposed to gossypol remains unclear. Here, a strain(YC) affiliated to Pediococcus pentosaceus was isolated from the gut of Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus) and its potential to repair gossypol-induced intestinal damage was *** A total of 270 Nile tilapia(2.20 ± 0.02 g) were allotted in 3 groups with 3 tanks each and fed with 3 diets including CON(control diet), GOS(control diet containing 300 mg/kg gossypol) and GP(control diet containing 300 mg/kg gossypol and 10^(8) colony-forming unit(CFU)/g P. pentosaceus YC), respectively. After 10 weeks, addition of P. pentosaceus YC restored growth retardation and intestinal injury induced by gossypol in Nile tilapia. Transcriptome analysis and si RNA interference experiments demonstrated that NOD-like receptors(NLR) family caspase recruitment domain(CARD) domain containing 3(Nlrc3) inhibition might promote intestinal stem cell(ISC) proliferation, as well as maintaining gut barrier integrity. 16S r RNA sequencing and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) revealed that addition of P. pentosaceus YC altered the composition of gut microbiota and increased the content of propionate in fish gut. Developing highly-efficient bifunctional oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts is crucial for the widespread application of rechargeable Zn-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,an efficiency electrodeposition and pyrolytic strategy to synthesize the three-dimensional(3D)N-doped carbon coating multiple valence Co and MnO heterostructures supported on carbon cloth substrate(Co-MnO@NC/CC).It contains Co-Co,Co-N,and Co-O bonds,which synergistically enhance the oxygen reaction activity with *** exhibits a working potential of 1.473 V at 10 mA·cm^(−2)for OER and onset potential of 0.97 V for *** calculations demonstrate that the synergy between cobalt and manganese species could optimize the d-band center and reduce the energy barrier of Co-MnO@NC/CC for both OER and ORR ***,the MnO acts as the main OER active site could significantly optimize the energy barrier of O*→OOH*,thus further promoting the OER *** can be directly used as the air-cathode for both liquid-state and solid-state ZABs,which could afford a small voltage gap of 0.75 V at 10 mA·cm^(−2),a high power density of 172.5 mW·cm^(−2)and a long-term durability for 400 h,surpassing those of the Pt/C+RuO_(2)-based ***,the assembled batteries show potential applications in portable devices.

Objective： To assess the relationship between allergic conjunctivitis（AC） and allergic rhinitis（AR） in pediatric ophthalmology and E.N.T outpatient clinic. Methods：Eight hundred and ninety two patients were enrolled in survey during Mar. 2005-Jan. 2007, 407 allergic conjunctivitis cases were placed in the ophthalmology clinic group and 485 allergic rhinitis cases were from the E.N.T clinic. The comorbid disorders, histories, symptoms, signs of patients were recorded. Type 1 allergy was tested in 479 cases by a specific IgE antibody blood test. Eosinophils were detected in superficial conjunctival scrapings of the superior tarsal conjunctiva and mucosa surface scrapings of middle nasal meatus in 88 cases with both diseases. Results：302（74%）, 374（92%）, 116（29%） in 407 cases with allergic conjunctivitis had concomitant eczema, rhinitis and asthma, respectively; 334（69%）, 430（89%）, 145（30%） in 485 cases with allergic rhinitis had concomitant eczema, allergic conjunctivitis and asthma, respectively. The prevalence of allergic conjunctivitis concomitant allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinitis concomitant allergic conjunctivitis had no significant difference（x2=2,6, P 〉 0.05）. The prevalence of allergic conjunctivitis and allergic rhinitis concomitant eczema and asthma also had no significant difference （x2=3.08; x2=0.21, P 〉 0.05）. The degree of severity of two kinds of disease symptoms is not parallel, in the patients with seasonal allergic conjuctivitis（SAC） and perennial allergic conjunctivitis（PAC）, the clinical signs of AR were always severer（x2=258.2, P 〈 0.05） than those of AC. However, the results coincided with the cases with vernal keratoconjuctivitis（VKC）（x2=66.5, P 〈 0.05）; Eosinophils were revealed in 50（57%） conjunctival scrapings and nasal mucosa scrapings（x2=1.5, P〉 0.05）, 47（53%） cases had positive results in both scrapings.
