Diversified traffic participants and complex traffic environment(e.g.,roadblocks or road damage exist)challenge the decision-making accuracy of a single connected and autonomous vehicle(CAV)due to its limited sensing and computing *** Internet of Vehicles(IoV)to share driving rules between CAVs can break limitations of a single CAV,but at the same time may cause privacy and safety *** tackle this problem,this paper proposes to combine IoV and blockchain technologies to form an efficient and accurate autonomous guidance ***,we first use reinforcement learning for driving decision learning,and give the corresponding driving rule extraction ***,an architecture combining IoV and blockchain is designed to ensure secure driving rule ***,the shared rules will form an effective autonomous driving guidance strategy through driving rules selection and action *** simulation proves that the proposed strategy performs well in complex traffic environment,mainly in terms of accuracy,safety,and robustness.

Core samples from the deeply buried Ordovician Majiagou Formation below the Huainan Coalfield(e China) have been investigated for their carbonate types,major and trace elements(including rare earth elements) and C and O isotopes,The objective was to get a better insight into the possible occurrences of gas(and possibly oil) derived from Carboniferous *** was found that the carbonates are dolomites with strongly varying amounts of CaO and *** low concentrations of SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),and Fe_(2)O_(3)indicate deposition in a normal marine environment with little terrigenous input,The Na_(2)O/K_(2)O,Fe/Mn and Sr/Ba ratios,as well as the Ga values indicate mainly a marine salinity and a hot and humid *** slight depletion of Ce and eu,the depletion of heavy rare earth elements(HRee) and the enrichment of light rare earth elements(LRee) indicate deposition in a reducing *** thus appears that the Majiagou Formation below the Huainan Coalfield closely resembles that in the eastern part of the Ordos Basin,where several gas reservoirs are present,so that the Majiagou Formation under the Huainan Coalfield represents a promising target for hydrocarbon exploration.

AIM To investigate viability assessment of segmental small bowel ischemia/reperfusion in a porcine *** In 15 pigs, five or six 30-cm segments of jejunum were simultaneously made ischemic by clamping the mesenteric arteries and veins for 1 to 16 h. Reperfusion was initiated after different intervals of ischemia(1-8 h) and subsequently monitored for 5-15 h. The intestinal segments were regularly photographed and assessed visually and by palpation. Intraluminal lactate and glycerol concentrations were measured by microdialysis, and samples were collected for light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The histological changes were described and *** Using light microscopy, the jejunum was considered as viable until 6 h of ischemia, while with transmission electron microscopy the ischemic muscularis propria was considered viable until 5 h of ischemia. However, following ≥ 1 h of reperfusion, only segments that had been ischemic for ≤ 3 h appeared viable, suggesting a possible upper limit for viability in the porcine mesenteric occlusion model. Although intraluminal microdialysis allowed us to closely monitor the onset and duration of ischemia and the onset of reperfusion, we were unable to find sufficient level of association between tissue viability and metabolic markers to conclude that microdialysis is clinically relevant for viability assessment. evaluation of color and motility appears to be poor indicators of intestinal *** Three hours of total ischemia of the small bowel followed by reperfusion appears to be the upper limit for viability in this porcine mesenteric ischemia model.

*** One of the major challenges in Geoscience is to understand how the formation and evolution of the earth System are governed by timescales-that is,how the various geological processes that continue to contribute to its present-day structure and composition operated in the deep *** traditional view of such processes refers to events that occur at immense spatial scales and over hundreds of millions of years,constrained in most cases by the ages of rocks determined using isotopic dating methods or the fossil ***,the modern view of geological processes has increasingly acknowledged that their durations can be significantly shorter than previously thought possible,or indeed detectable without recent analytical *** are a prime example of rapid,high energy and episodic events that have a profound effect on subsequent processes such as metamorphism,fluid transport,and ore formation e the evidence of which is written in microstructures,compositional zoning,and P-T *** studies have also revealed that the reaction rates between fluids and rocks can be extremely rapid relative to geological *** has led to the notion that geological processes are not necessarily continuous over millions of years but may,in fact,be sporadic,with long periods where essentially no reactions take place punctuated by periods of intense activity.

Our contribution about a newly recognized sedimentological feature, which we called tombolith,has raised some comments on the etymology of the term, the assumed lack of field data, the usage of a term that has a special meaning in stratigraphy, the origin of the seismic shocks that played a role, so-called basic tenets, the origin of soft-sediment deformation structures, and the role of liquefaction. We argue that most comments result from an insufficiently thorough reading of our text, whereas some other remarks concern aspects that we did not deal with. Finally, several remarks are based on outdated literature and from insufficient knowledge of the regional geology.

Granger causal representation learning for groups of time series

Discovering causality from multivariate time series is an important but challenging *** existing methods focus on estimating the Granger causal structures among multivariate time series,while ignoring the prior knowledge of these time series, e.g., the group of the time series. Focusing on discovering the Granger causal structures among groups of time series, we propose a Granger causal representation learning method to solve this problem. First, we use the multiset canonical correlation analysis method to learn the Granger causal representation of each group of time series. Then, we model the Granger causal relationships among the learned Granger causal representations using a recurrent neural network with temporal information. Finally, we formulate the above two stages into one unified optimization problem, which is efficiently solved using the augmented Lagrangian method. We conduct extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets to validate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.

NdFeB magnets currently dominate the magnet market. Supply risks of certain rare earth metals（ReM）, e.g. Nd and Dy, impose efficient recycling schemes that are applicable to different types and compositions of these magnets with minimum use of chemicals and waste generation. In this study, a hydrometallurgical method was studied that could be adjusted to recover not only ReM, but also other valuable metals（***, Ni and Cu） that co-existed in the magnet. The magnet powders were completely dissolved in a dilute sulfuric acid solution giving more than 98% of dissolved iron in the ferrous state. Chemical oxidation of Fe-（2＋） into Fe-（3＋） by the addition of MnO 2 required only 1 h at ambient temperature. It was then possible to precipitate more than 99% of this ferric iron by adjusting the pH of the solution above 3 with either Ca（OH）2 or MnO additions. However, the addition of Ca（OH）2 resulted in the formation of gypsum and up to ca. 23% ReM losses, possibly via co-precipitation into the gypsum. MnO elevated the Mn-（2＋） concentration in the solution. However, it was found to be problematic that subsequent direct electrolysis removed Mn and Co. Low anodic current efficiencies（ACe） resulted in high energy consumption（eC）, while incomplete Mn and Co removals and undesired ReM losses were reported. Pre-electrolysis removals of ReM and/or Co by oxalate and/or sulfide precipitation were proven to be successful and selective, but this enlarged the flowsheet considerably with only minor improvement of the Mn removal, ACe and eC.
