Fe-Mn based layer oxides cathode materials have attracted widespread attention as a potential candidate for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)owing to the earth abundance,cost-effectiveness and acceptable specific ***,the irreversible phase transition often brings rapid capacity decay,which seriously hinders the practical application in large-scale energy ***,we design a nickel-doped Na_(0.70)Fe_(0.10)Cu_(0.20)Ni_(0.05)Mn_(0.65)O_(2)(NFCNM-0.05)cathode material of SIBs with activated anionic redox reaction,and then inhibit the harmful phase *** ex-situ X-ray diffraction patterns demonstrate the NFCNM-0.05 always keeps the P2 phase during the sodiation/desodiation process,indicating a high structure *** ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy implies the redox reactions between O2-and O-occur in the charging process,which offers extra specific ***,the NFCNM-0.05 electrode delivers a high initial discharge capacity of 148 mA h g-1and remains a prominent cycling stability with an excellent capacity retention of 95.9%after 200 cycles at 1 *** addition,the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique show the NFCNM-0.05 electrode possesses fast ion diffusion ability,which is beneficial for the enhancement of rate *** at 10 C,the NFCNM-0.05 can offer a reversible discharge capacity of 81 mA h *** calculation demonstrates the doping of appropriate amount of Ni ions is benefit for the enhancement of the electrochemical performance of the layer *** work provides an effective strategy to enhance the electrochemical performance of Fe-Mn based cathode materials of SIBs.

Al-ion batteries(AIBs) have been identified as one of the most hopeful energy storage systems after Li-ion batteries on account for the ultrahigh volumetric capacity,high safety and low cost from the rich abundance of ***,some inevitable shortcomings,such as the formation of passive oxide film,hydrogen side reactions and anode corrosion,finally limit the large-scale application of aqueous *** nonaqueous AIBs have been considered as one of most hopeful alternatives for high-powered electrochemical energy storage ***,various technical and scientific obstacles should be resolved because nonaqueous AIBs are still *** significant efforts have aimed to resolve these issues towards large-scale applications,and some important advancement has been *** the present review,we mainly intended to offer an overview of non-aqueous AIBs systems,and we comprehensively reviewed the recent research advancement of the cathode materials,anode materials electrolyte and collectors as well as the fundamental understanding of the functional *** addition,we have also analyzed several technical challenges and summarized the strategies used for overcoming the challenges in improving the electrochemical properties,including morphology control,surface engineering,doping and construction of composite electrodes as well as the charge storage mechanisms of the materials with different crystal *** last,future research orientation and development prospect of the AIBs are proposed.

Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25) is regarded as a promising anode material for Li-ion batteries(LIBs)because of its low cost and high theoretical ***,the inherently poor conductivity significantly limits the enhancement of its rate capability and cycling stability,especially at high current *** this work,we construct one-dimensional Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C nanofibers by electrospinning method to enhance the kinetic,which realizes high cycling *** coating enhances the structure stability,insertion/extraction reversibility of Li-ions and electrochemical reaction activity,and facilitates the transfer of *** from the unique architecture and component,the Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C(6.6 wt%)nanofiber shows an excellent rate capability with a reversible de-lithiation capacity of 370.8,290.6,269.2,254.3 and 244.9 m Ah g^(-1) at 200,300,500,800 and 1000 m A g^(-1),*** at a higher current density of 1 A g^(-1),Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C(6.6 wt%)nanofiber shows high cycling stability with an initial de-lithiation capacity of 237.8 m Ah g^(-1) and a capacity retention rate of about 84%after 500 *** density functional theory calculation result confirms that the introduction of carbon on the surface of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25) changes the total density of states of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25),and thus improves electronic conductivity of the composite,resulting in a good electrochemical performance of Li_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C ***_(5)Cr_(7)Ti_(6)O_(25)/C nanofibers indicate a great potential as an anode material for the next generation of high-performance LIBs.

BACKGROUND Eisenmenger’s syndrome(ES)is a rare complication of congenital heart disease that includes pulmonary artery hypertension and reversed or bidirectional *** mortality rate of pregnant women with ES is 30%-70%due to pathophysiological *** perioperative management of a pregnant patient with ES is a challenge for *** SUMMARY A 38-year-old pregnant woman was admitted to the cardiology department of our hospital at 22 wk of gestation with complaints of chest tightness and shortness of breath for 3 *** echocardiography revealed a bidirectional shunt between the descending aorta and pulmonary artery after interventional closure of the patent ductus arteriosus and severe pulmonary *** in pregnancy was our primary *** patient elected to terminate the pregnancy under adequate preoperative preparation,rigorous intraoperative monitoring,and perfect epidural *** was discharged successfully on postoperative day *** Our experience in this case suggests that successful outcomes are possible in pregnant patients with ES for termination of pregnancy under epidural anesthesia and intensive monitoring.

BACKGROUND Intracranial hypotension(IH)is a disorder involving cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)hypovolemia due to spontaneous or traumatic spinal CSF leakage and is easily being misdiagnosed or missed,especially in these patients without the prototypical manifestation of an orthostatic *** present,the management of IH with both cranial nerve VI palsy and bilateral subdural hematomas(SDHs)is still *** SUMMARY A 67-year-old male Chinese patient complained of diplopia on the left side for one and a half *** tomography revealed bilateral SDHs and a midline ***,neurotrophic drugs were not effective,and 3 d after admission,he developed a non-orthostatic headache and neck *** magnetic resonance imaging revealed dural enhancement as an additional feature,and IH was *** resonance myelography was then adopted and showed CSF leakage at multiple sites in the spine,confirming the diagnosis of having *** patient fully recovered following multiple targeted epidural blood patch(EBP)*** IH is a rare disease,and to the best of our knowledge,IH with diplopia as its initial and primary symptom has never been *** this study,we also elucidated that it could be safe and effective to treat IH patients with associated cranial nerve VI palsy and bilateral SDHs using repeated EBP therapy.

In this work,CNTs-wrapped ZnCo2S4 nanoparticle composites were constructed by a simple hydrothermal *** process allows to wrap ZnCo2S4 nanoparticle in an interconnected CNT matrix that combines excellent electronic conductivity with good mechanical *** CNTs wrapping suppresses the aggregation of ZnCo2S4 nanoparticle,and assures an effective contact between electrolyte and ZnCo2S4 particles,then promotes rapid ion ***,ZnCo2S4@CNTs(5 wt%)composite shows the highest specific surface area,lowest polarization and the highest reversibility during cycling among all ***2S4@CNTs(0,2.5,5 and 10 wt%)electrodes deliver specific capacitances of 360.4,1012.8,1190.4 and 1015.6 F g^(-1) with capacitance retentions of 32.9%,81.3%,84.2%and 79.3%at 10 Ag^(-1) after 10,000 *** at higher current density of 30 A g^(-1),ZnCo2S4@CNTs(5 wt%)composite also delivers a specific capacitance of about 880 F g^(-1) with a capacitance retention of 93%after 30,000 cycles,revealing outstanding cycling *** above results exhibit that ZnCo2S4@CNTs composites can be promising candidates as electrode materials for pseudocapacitors with excellent electrochemical property in future applications.

Objective Human adenovirus(HAdV)infection is common and can develop to serious conditions with high mortality,yet the mechanism of HAdV infection remains *** the present study,the serum metabolite profiles of HAdV-7-infected patients with pneumonia or upper respiratory tract infection(URTI)were *** In total,35 patients were enrolled in the study following an outbreak of HAdV-7 in the army,of whom 14 had pneumonia and 21 had *** samples were collected at the acute stage and at the recovery stage and were analyzed by untargeted *** Over 90% of the differential metabolites identified between the pneumonia patients and URTI patients were lipids and lipid-like molecules,including glycerophospholipids,fatty acyls,and *** metabolic pathways that were significantly enriched were primarily the lipid metabolism pathways,including sphingolipid metabolism,glycerophospholipid metabolism,and linoleic acid *** sphingolipid metabolism was identified as a significantly differential pathway between the pneumonia patients and URTI patients and between the acute and recovery stages for the pneumonia patients,but not between the acute and recovery stages for the URTI *** and lactosylceramide,involved in sphingolipid metabolism,were significantly higher in the pneumonia patients than in the URTI patients with good discrimination abilities[area under curve(AUC)0.742 and 0.716,respectively;combination AUC 0.801].Conclusion Our results suggested that HAdV modulated lipid metabolism for both the patients with URTI and pneumonia,especially the sphingolipid metabolism involving ceramide and lactosylceramide,which might thus be a potential intervention target in the treatment of HAdV infection.

Wild-Type KRAS and BRAF Could Predict Response to Cetuximab in Chinese Colorectal Cancer Patients

Objective: To analyze the relationship between KRAS, BRAF mutations and the response to Cetuximab in Chinese colorectal cancer patients. Methods: A total of 273 Chinese colorectal cancer patients were evaluated for KRAS and BRAF mutations by Sanger sequencing. Among them, 59 patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) were treated with Cetuximab in combination with chemotherapy from August 2005 to July 2009. Statistical analysis was conducted to assess the relationship between KRAS, BRAF mutations and the response or survival of 59 mCRC patients. Results: KRAS and BRAF mutation rates were 38.5% (105/273) and 5.1% (14/273), respectively, and KRAS/BRAF mutations were mutually exclusive. Among 59 patients treated with Cetuximab plus chemotherapy, KRAS and BRAF mutations were identified in 11 and 5 patients, respectively. The response rates and median progression-free survivals (PFS) in KRAS wild-type and mutant patients were 35.4% (17/48) vs. 9.1% (1/11) (P=0.054) and 153 days vs. 99 days (P=0.01), respectively. Also, the response rates and median PFS in BRAF wild-type and mutant patients were 37.2% (16/43) vs. 20% (1/5) (P=0.016) and 138 days vs. 90 days (P=0.036), respectively. Conclusion: Besides KRAS, assessing BRAF mutation should also be required to select patients eligible for Cetuximab. Further prospective evaluation in large samples should be performed to confirm these preliminary findings.

The definition of generalized product of fractal is first put forward for the research on the relations between original fractal and its product of fractal when the transformations of iteration function system （IFS） are incomplete. Then the representations of generalized product of IFS are discussed based on the theory of the product of fractal. Furthermore, the dimensional relations between the product of fractal and its semi-product are obtained. The dimensional relations of self-similar set are discussed. Finally, the examples for rendering fractal graphs are given. These results posses potentials in image compression and pattern recognition.
