Background:The incidence and prevalence of atherosclerosis(AS)is increasing every year and has becoming a major health issue of global *** Cuspidati Rhizoma(PCR)is a Chinese herb that is widely used clinically for the treating of ***,its pertinent targets and probable mechanisms,still need to be completely ***:Active compounds and targets for PCR and AS targets were screened using public databases.A“drug-component-disease target”network map was created and analyzed after using the Venn online tool to identify common targets and Cytoscape software to screen drug-disease core *** targets pathway enrichment analyses are conducted using the Metascape *** AutoDock Vina and Pymol software,docking validation and visualization of active components and core targets were carried ***:PCR was obtained for ten compounds with 105 AS-related ***,quercetin,beta-sitosterol,and luteolin may be drug candidates,and the genes for AKT1,TNF,IL-6,EGFR,TP53,IL-1,RELA,and VEGFA are potential therapeutic targets,according to network *** might modulate the AGE/RAGE,PI3K/Akt,IL-17 and NF-ᴋB signaling pathways against the development of *** docking indicated that quercetin has high affinity for AKT1 and TNF gene ***:This study provides rare information and scientific basis for further exploration of PC in the treatment of AS.

Sensitivity of Different Cytotoxic Responses of Vero Cells Exposed to Organic Chemical Pollutants and their Reliability in the Bio-toxicity Test of Trace Chemical Pollutants

Objective To find a sensitive cytotoxic response to reflect the bio-toxicity of trace organic pollutants, the sensitivity and reliability of morphological change and proliferation inhibition of Vero cells exposed to 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol （TCP） and the leachate from products related to drinking water （PRDW） were compared, and the mechanism of the morphological change in Vero cells exposed to chemical pollutants was studied. Methods Vero cells were treated by different concentration of TCP and the leachate from PRDW. Methylthiazol-2-yl-2, 5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide （MTT） assay was carried out for proliferation inhibition. Bioluminescence method was carried out as another method to test the toxicity of TCP. Flow Cytometry assay was used to test cell Apoptosis and damage of cell-membrane. Results 0.25 mg/L TCP had an effect on cell morphology, and the proportion of morphologically changed cells increased with increasing TCP concentration. At low TCP concentrations, inhibition of cell proliferation did not seem to correlate to TCP concentration, and was negative when TCP concentration was 〈1.0 mg/L. After exposure to leachate from PRDW extracted at different temperatures, the percentage of morphologically changed cells increased with extracting temperature, but the inhibition of cell proliferation failed to reflect the correlation between extracting temperature and proliferation inhibition of Vero cells. Although the Sensitivity of bioluminescence method seems to be similar to morphological change in Veto cells, the bacterial in this method is not homologous enough with human body cells to reflect the toxicity to human body. These imply cell morphological change is a more sensitive and reliable method to reflect bio-toxicity of organic pollutants than proliferation inhibition. The Triassic massive sandstone reservoir in the Tahe oilfield has a strong bottom-water drive and is characterized by great burial depth,high temperature and salinity,a thin pay zone,and strong *** present,the water-cut is high in each block within the reservoir;some wells are at an ultrahigh water-cut stage.A lack of effective measures to control water-cut rise and stabilize oil production have necessitated the application of enhanced oil recovery(EOR)*** paper investigates the development and technological advances for oil reservoirs with strong edge/bottom-water drive globally,and compares their application to reservoirs with characteristics similar to the Tahe *** the technological advances,gas injection from the top and along the direction of structural dip has been used to optimize the flow field in a typical bottom-water drive ***-water coning is restrained by gas injection-assisted water *** addition,increasing the lateral driving pressure differential improves the plane sweep efficiency which enhances oil recovery in *** injection technology in combination with technological measures like channeling prevention and blocking,and water plugging and profile control,can achieve better results in reservoir *** flooding tests in the Tahe oilfield are of great significance to identifying which EOR technology is the most effective and has the potential of large-scale application for improving development of deep reservoirs with a strong bottomwater drive.

Metallic copper is widely used as current collector(CC) for graphite anode of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) due to its high electrical conductivity and electrochemical stability. However, the large volume density of commercial copper foil(~8.9 g·cm^(-3)) limits the increase of energy density of battery. Here, copper-coated porous polyimide(Cu@PPI) was prepared by vacuum evaporation as collector for the graphite anode. The sandwich structure connects the copper metal on both sides of the collector with excellent electrical conductivity. Compared to commercial Cu foil, Cu@PPI has lighter mass(≤3.9 mg for disc of 12 mm diameter versus 9.9 mg of ~10 μm Cu foil) and lower volume density(≤3.3 g·cm^(-3)). In addition, the porous structure allows of better adhesion of reactive substances and electrochemical properties than pure Cu foils. It is estimated that the energy density of Cu@PPI should be much higher than that of Cu foil. This strategy should be applicable for other current collectors.

Globozoospermia is a severe form of teratozoospermia characterized by round-headed spermatozoa with an absent acrosome, an aberrant nuclear membrane and midpiece defects. Globozoospermia is diagnosed by the presence of 100% round-headed spermatozoa on semen analysis, and patients with this condition are absolutely infertile. The objective of this study was to investigate the differences in protein expression between human round- headed and normal spermatozoa. Two-dimensional （2-D） fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis （DIGE） coupled with mass spectrometry （MS） was used in this study. Over 61 protein spots were analysed in each paired normal/round-headed comparison, using DIGE technology along with an internal standard. In total, 35 protein spots identified by tandem mass spectrometry （MS/MS） exhibited significant changes （paired t-test, P 〈 0.05） in the expression level between normal and round-headed spermatozoa. A total of nine proteins were found to be upregulated and 26 proteins were found to be downregulated in round-headed spermatozoa compared with normal spermatozoa. The differentially expressed proteins that we identified may have important roles in a variety of cellular processes and structures, including spermatogenesis, cell skeleton, metabolism and spermatozoa motility.

Citrus yellow vein clearing virus(CYVCV)is a new citrus virus that has become an important factor restricting the development of China’s citrus industry,and the CYVCV coat protein(CP)is associated with viral *** this study,the Eureka lemon zinc finger protein(ZFP)ClDOF3.4 was shown to interact with CYVCV CP in vivo and in *** expression of ClDOF3.4 in Eureka lemon induced the expression of salicylic acid(SA)-related and hypersensitive response marker genes,and triggered a reactive oxygen species burst,ion leakage necrosis,and the accumulation of free ***,the CYVCV titer in ClDOF3.4 transgenic Eureka lemon plants was approximately 69.4%that in control plants 6 mon after inoculation,with only mild leaf chlorotic spots observed in those transgenic *** together,the results indicate that ClDOF3.4 not only interacts with CP but also induces an immune response in Eureka lemon by inducing the SA *** is the first report that ZFP is involved in the immune response of a citrus viral disease,which provides a basis for further study of the molecular mechanism of CYVCV infection.

As we are facing an aging society,anti-aging strategies have been pursued to reduce the negative impacts of aging and increase the health span of human *** microbiota has become a key factor in the anti-aging *** of gut microbiota by fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)to prevent frailty and unhealthy aging has been a hot topic of *** narrative review summarizes the beneﬁts of FMT for health span and lifespan,brains,eyes,productive systems,bones,and *** mechanisms of FMT in improving healthy aging are *** increased beneﬁcial bacteria and decreased pathological bacteria decreased gut permeability and systemic inﬂammation,increased short-chain fatty acid(SCFA)and SCFA-producing bacteria,and other factors are listed as mechanisms of FMT to improve healthy *** points that need to be considered to ensure the optimal outcomes of FMT are also discussed,such as recipients’age,sex,genetic background,and gut microbiota after *** thisﬁeld is still in its infancy,it has shown that FMT has great potential to improve healthy aging.

Red phosphor is an important component of the phosphor-converted white light-emitting diodes(pcWLEDs).The development of the novel red phosphor with excellent luminescence properties is of great significance for high performance *** this study,NaGd_(0.4)Eu_(0.6)Mg_(1-x)Zn_(x)WO_(6)red phosphors with excellent luminescence properties were successfully synthesized and systematically *** results show that the Zn^(2+)-doping concentration has significant effect on the microstructures and luminescence properties of the NaGd_(0.4)Eu_(0.6)Mg_(1-x)Zn_(x)WO_(6)*** NaGd_(0.4)Eu_(0.6)Mg_(1-x)ZnxWO_(6)(0≤x≤0.7)samples are well crystallized pure solid solution sub-microcrystals,whereas the phase purity gradually decreases at 0.7ting and *** work can offer an effective strategy for boosting luminescence properties of tungstate phosphors with the double perovskite structure.
