Under the complex influences including the monsoonal climates and tropical hydrological cycle,the features and forcing mechanisms of precipitation changes in the tropical monsoon regions remain *** northern coast of the South China Sea(NCSCS),connecting the South China Sea(SCS)and the Pearl River Estuary(PRE),is a critical area providing reliable tropical precipitation records and probing the possible forcing mechanism of tropical precipitation,benefitted from its high deposition rate and hydroclimatic ***,δ^(18)O variations of planktonic(δ^(18)O_(G).ruber)and benthic foraminifera(δ^(18)O_(C).lobatulus)were investigated respectively to reconstruct a high-resolution low-latitude precipitation record from the core 17NH-NC3 in the *** results show a distinctδ^(18)O difference betweenδ^(18)O_(G).ruber andδ^(18)O_(C).lobatulus,not only with respect to values,but also with respect to trends in some time *** clear difference between the planktonic and benthic foraminifera(Δδ^(18)O_(b-p))illustrates the significant vertical salinity *** the temporal trend ofΔδ^(18)O_(b-p) indicates the degree of salinity stratification variated since the *** assume that the degree of stratification in the NCSCS was mainly controlled by tropical precipitation ***,the trend ofΔδ^(18)O_(b-p) values could indicate the temporal change of the tropical *** precipitation record of our research area is closely related to the tropical atmosphere–ocean dynamics stimulated by sea surface temperature(SST)changes of the tropical Pacific zone,analogous to the El Niño–Southern Oscillation(ENSO)*** the mid-Holocene(from 8260 to 5180 cal yr B.P.),the sustainable higherΔδ^(18)O_(b-p) values(>1.23‰)suggested a large amount of precipitation,pointing to a sustained state of La Niña-like,which is associated with lasted higher difference between Western SST and Eastern SST(W-E SST gradient)in the equatorial Pacif

Inhibition of KLF7-Targeting Micro RNA 146b Promotes Sciatic Nerve Regeneration

A previous study has indicated that Krüppel-like factor 7（KLF7）, a transcription factor that stimulates Schwann cell（SC） proliferation and axonal regeneration after peripheral nerve injury, is a promising therapeutic transcription factor in nerve injury. We aimed to identify whether inhibition of micro RNA-146 b（mi R-146 b）affected SC proliferation, migration, and myelinated axon regeneration following sciatic nerve injury by regulating its direct target KLF7. SCs were transfected with mi RNA lentivirus, mi RNA inhibitor lentivirus, or KLF7 si RNA lentivirus in vitro. The expression of mi R146 b and KLF7,as well as SC proliferation and migration, were subsequently evaluated. In vivo, an acellular nerve allograft（ANA） followed by injection of GFP control vector or a lentiviral vector encoding an mi R-146 b inhibitor was used to assess the repair potential in a model of sciatic nerve gap. mi R-146 b directly targeted KLF7 by binding to the 30-UTR, suppressing KLF7. Up-regulation of mi R-146 b and KLF7 knockdown significantly reduced the proliferation and migration of SCs, whereas silencing mi R-146 b resulted in increased proliferation and migration. KLF7 protein was localized in SCs in which mi R-146 b was expressed in ***, 4 weeks after the ANA, anti-mi R-146 b increased KLF7 and its target gene nerve growth factor cascade, promoting axonal outgrowth. Closer analysis revealed improved nerve conduction and sciatic function index score, and enhanced expression of neurofilaments, P0（anti-peripheral myelin）, and myelinated axon regeneration. Our findings provide new insight into the regulation of KLF7 by mi R-146 b during peripheral nerve regeneration and suggest a potential therapeutic strategy for peripheral nerve injury.

An Ionic Liquid-assisted Hydrothermal Synthesis of Ce02 Nanorods

CeO2 nanorods were synthesized by a hydrothermal method at 160℃ from CeC16-6H20 and NH3.H20 in the presence of an ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazolium chloride （[Bmim]C1）. The phase and morphology of the result- ing products were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD） and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy （HRTEM）, respectively. The results reveal that morphology of CeO2 prepared in the presence of the ionic liquid is nano- rod while it changes to irregular nanoparticle without ionic liquid. The resulting nanorods are about 13-25 nm in diameter and 200-500 nm in length. With the increase of ionic concentration, nanorods were disappeared gradually and nanoparticles were obtained. Moreover, increasing the hydrothermal temperature to 180℃, nanospheres at size of 19-24 nm could be synthesized by aggregation of-2 nm nanocrystals.

The cGAS-Sting-interferon regulatory factor 7 pathway regulates neuroinflammation in Parkinson's disease

Interferon regulatory factor 7 plays a crucial role in the innate immune ***,whether interferon regulatory factor 7-mediated signaling contributes to Parkinson's disease remains *** we report that interferon regulatory factor 7 is markedly up-regulated in a 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine-induced mouse model of Parkinson's disease and co-localizes with microglial *** the selective cyclic guanosine monophosphate adenosine monophosphate synthase inhibitor RU.521 and the stimulator of interferon genes inhibitor H151 effectively suppressed interferon regulatory factor 7 activation in BV2 microglia exposed to 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium and inhibited transformation of mouse BV2 microglia into the neurotoxic M1 *** addition,si RNA-mediated knockdown of interferon regulatory factor 7 expression in BV2 microglia reduced the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase,tumor necrosis factorα,CD16,CD32,and CD86 and increased the expression of the anti-inflammatory markers ARG1 and *** together,our findings indicate that the cyclic guanosine monophosphate adenosine monophosphate synthase-stimulator of interferon genes-interferon regulatory factor 7 pathway plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease.

Melting Evaluation of Phase Change Materials Impregnated into Cascaded Metal Foams with Regionalized Enhancement

为测量密集气液泡状流的流动形态及参数,建立了基于激光扫描的三维可视化测量系统。采用片状激光结合旋转正多边形棱镜实现对流场的光学扫描,高速摄像机采集扫描切片图像,首先对图像进行预处理。针对扫描成像中产生的切片重复曝光问题,提出二阶微分平均卷积优化算法,该方法不仅可以有效提取多切片图像中重复曝光的特征点,而且可以去除冗余及噪声信息。实验结果表明,针对分散相遮挡的密集泡状流,基于激光扫描可完整重建其三维结构,二阶微分优化算法可以有效降低重建畸变影响,重建后体积含气率的相对误差优于6%。激光扫描方法非侵入、重建精度高,具有传统方法不可比拟的优势。

Several studies have shown that activation of unfolded protein response and endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress plays a crucial role in severe cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** occurs within hours after cerebral ischemia,but the relationship between ER stress and autophagy remains *** this study,we established experimental models using oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation in PC12 cells and primary neurons to simulate cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** found that prolongation of oxygen-glucose deprivation activated the ER stress pathway protein kinase-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase(PERK)/eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit alpha(e IF2α)-activating transcription factor 4(ATF4)-C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP),increased neuronal apoptosis,and induced ***,inhibition of ER stress using inhibitors or by si RNA knockdown of the PERK gene significantly attenuated excessive autophagy and neuronal apoptosis,indicating an interaction between autophagy and ER stress and suggesting PERK as an essential target for regulating *** autophagy with chloroquine exacerbated ER stress-induced apoptosis,indicating that normal levels of autophagy play a protective role in neuronal injury following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** from this study indicate that cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury can trigger neuronal ER stress and promote autophagy,and suggest that PERK is a possible target for inhibiting excessive autophagy in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.

Aerodynamic Optimization and Flow Mechanism for a Compressor Cascade at Low Reynolds Number

Low-Reynolds-number effect is an important factor affecting the performance of compressors and other main components of high-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial *** improve the flow condition and reduce flow loss under the condition of high altitude and low Reynolds number(Re),this paper proposes an optimization process based on a surrogate model,which combines the class-shape transformation method(CST),the Latin hypercube sampling(LHS) method,the light gradient-boosting machine algorithm(LightGBM),and a genetic algorithm(GA) to optimize a high-subsonic compressor *** surrogate model is verified to be accurate and can be used in the optimization *** accuracy of the GA is higher than the other algorithms under common test *** optimization results are verified by numerical simulation,and the flow differences before and after optimization are compared,especially the flow within the boundary *** changing the blade shape,the optimization process adjusts the loading distribution to delay the transition of the optimized blade on the suction surface,which changes the turbulent reattachment in the laminar separation bubble(LSB) into laminar ***,the mixing loss induced by the turbulent reattachment of the LSB and the wake loss of turbulent separation at the trailing edge are significantly reduced,and the performance of the compressor profile is finally *** addition,turbulent separation of the optimized profile is delayed reducing the range of the wake region on the suction *** this optimization process,the reduction of total pressure loss coefficient at Re of 2.5×10～5,3.5×10～5,and 4.5×10～5 are 16.32%,20.76%,and 22.16%,respectively.

Sequence-activated chemiluminescence(CL) technique offers a unique approach to detecting specific biomolecules or cellular events with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. The fundamental principle behind sequence-activated CL probes involves tailoring highly-controllable CL signals in response to specific sequences or events of interest, thus enabling high-contrast signals under complex physiological conditions. This sequential activation could be triggered by enzymes, reactive oxygen species(ROS), biothiols or changes in the microenvironment. These unique sequence-activated CL probes bestow several advantages, including minimal background, deep-tissue penetration, and the ability of non-invasive or minimally invasive detection. The sequence-activated CL techniques represent a significant advancement in molecular imaging and diagnostics. In this mini-review, we focus on the latest developments in sequential CL probes, addressing the technical challenges and discussing the future trajectory by harnessing CL signaling and molecular recognition.

Joint Estimation of SOH and RUL for Lithium-Ion Batteries Based on Improved Twin Support Vector Machineh

Accurately estimating the State of Health(SOH)and Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is crucial for the continuous and stable operation of battery management ***,due to the complex internal chemical systems of LIBs and the nonlinear degradation of their performance,direct measurement of SOH and RUL is *** address these issues,the Twin Support Vector Machine(TWSVM)method is proposed to predict SOH and ***,the constant current charging time of the lithium battery is extracted as a health indicator(HI),decomposed using Variational Modal Decomposition(VMD),and feature correlations are computed using Importance of Random Forest Features(RF)to maximize the extraction of critical factors influencing battery performance ***,to enhance the global search capability of the Convolution Optimization Algorithm(COA),improvements are made using Good Point Set theory and the Differential Evolution *** Improved Convolution Optimization Algorithm(ICOA)is employed to optimize TWSVM parameters for constructing SOH and RUL prediction ***,the proposed models are validated using NASA and CALCE lithium-ion battery *** results demonstrate that the proposed models achieve an RMSE not exceeding 0.007 and an MAPE not exceeding 0.0082 for SOH and RUL prediction,with a relative error in RUL prediction within the range of[-1.8%,2%].Compared to other models,the proposed model not only exhibits superior fitting capability but also demonstrates robust performance.
