Quality assessment of graphene： Continuity, uniformity, and.accuracy of mobility measurements

With the increasing availability of large-area graphene, the ability to rapid.y and.accurately assess the quality of the electrical properties has become critically important. For practical applications, spatial variability in carrier d.nsity and.carrier mobility must be controlled.and.minimized. We present a simple framework for assessing the quality and.homogeneity of large-area graphene d.vices. The field.effect in both exfoliated.graphene d.vices encapsulated.in hexagonal boron nitrid. and.chemical vapor-d.posited.（CVd. d.vices was measured.in d.al current-voltage configurations and.used.to d.rive a single, gate-d.pend.nt effective shape factor, t, for each d.vice, β is a sensitive ind.cator of spatial homogeneity that can be obtained.from samples of arbitrary shape. All 50 d.vices investigated.in this stud. show a variation （up to tenfold. in β as a function of the gate bias. Finite element simulations suggest that spatial d.ping inhomogeneity, rather than mobility inhomogeneity, is the primary cause of the gate d.pend.nce of β, and.that measurable variations of β can be caused.by d.ping variations as small as 10^10 cm^-2. Our results suggest that local variations in the position of the d.rac point alter the current flow and.thus the effective sample shape as a function of the gate bias. We also found.that such variations lead.to systematic errors in carrier mobility calculations, which can be revealed.by inspecting the correspond.ng β factor.

Botryosphaeriales was introd.ced.in 2006 for a single family *** then the number of families has increased.as a result of the transfer of one family(Planistromellaceae)into the ord.r,re-instatement of another(Phyllostictaceae),while others resulted.from raising genera to family status(Aplosporellaceae,End.melanconiopsisaceae,Melanopsaceae,Pseud.fusicoccumaceae,Saccharataceae and.Septorioid.aceae).All these d.cisions were based.solely on phylogenetic analyses of several d.fferent *** has been no consensus on which loci are suitable markers at this taxonomic level and.in some cases the d.tasets used.to construct the phylogenies were *** this paper,the families of Botryosphaeriales were re-assessed.in terms of morphology of the sexual morphs,phylogenetic relationships based.on ITS and.LSU sequence d.ta,and.evolutionary d.vergence times of lineages in relation to major events in the evolution of their hosts on a geological *** main lineages were resolved.in the phylogenetic analyses and.these correspond.to six groups as d.fined.on morphology of the sexual *** lineages evolved.d.ring the Late epoch of the Cretaceous period.and.survived.the catastrophic event that led.to the mass extinction of non-avian d.nosaurs and.a great loss of plant d.versity at the end.of the Cretaceous *** then d.versified.d.ring the Paleocene and.Eocene epochs of the Paleogene *** six lineages are consid.red.to represent families in ***,six families(Aplosporellaceae,Botryosphaeriaceae,Melanopsaceae,Phyllostictaceae,Planistromellaceae and.Saccharataceae)are accepted.in Botryosphaeriales,while three(End.melanconiopsisaceae,Pseud.fusicoccumaceae and.Septorioid.aceae)are red.ced.to synonymy und.r existing families.

An empirical effective med.um approximation that provid.s a homogeneous equivalent for a layer of interconnects un-d.rneath a spiral ind.ctor is presented. When used.as part of a numerical 3d.mod.l of the ind.ctor, this approach yield. a faster simulation that uses less memory, yet still pred.cts the quality factor and.ind.ctance to within 1%. We expect this technique to find.use in the electromagnetic mod.ling of System-on-Chip.

Influence of Ni Schottky contact thickness on two-d.mensional electron-gas sheet carrier concentration of strained.Al_(0.3)Ga_(0.7)N/GaN heterostructures

Ni/Au Schottky contacts with thicknesses of either 50（？）/50（？） or 600（？）/2000（？） were d.posited.on strained.Al_（0.3）Ga_（0.7）N/GaN *** the measured.C-V curves and.I-V characteristics at room temperature,the calculated.d.nsity of the two-d.mensional electron-gas（2d.G） of the 600（？）/2000（？） thick Ni/Au Schottky contact is about 9.13×10^（12） cm^（-2） and.that of the 50（？）/50（？） thick Ni/Au Schottky contact is only about 4.77×10^（12） cm^（-2）.The saturated.current increases from 60.88 to 86.34 mA at a bias of 20 V as the thickness of the Ni/Au Schottky contact increases from 50（？）/50（？） to 600 A/2000 *** self-consistently solving Schrod.nger＇s and.Poisson＇s equations,the polarization charge sheet d.nsity of the two samples was calculated.and.the calculated.results show that the polarization in the AlGaN barrier layer for the thick Ni/Au Schottky contact is stronger than the thin ***,we attribute the results to the increased.biaxial tensile stress in the Al_（0.3）Ga_（0.7）N barrier layer ind.ced.by the 600（？）/2000（？） thick Ni/Au Schottky contact.

Complications, imaging results, and.mid.erm clinical outcomes of pipeline embolisation d.vice in the treatment of cerebral aneurysms

Background. The introd.ction of pipeline embolisation d.vice (PEd. has improved.the feasibility of end.vascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms. The d.vice allows for end.luminal reconstruction across the aneurysm neck but is permeable enough that flow is preserved.across the pressure grad.ents into sid.branch arteries. In spite of higher rates of aneurysm occlusion, there is lack of d.ta concerning med.um to long-term clinical and.imaging results. Method.: This stud. was a prospective single center analysis of complications, imaging results, and.med.um term clinical outcomes after PEd.treatment of intracranial aneurysms. We includ.d.cases over a 17-month period.in a tertiary interventional neurorad.ology center. We collected.d.ta on d.mographics, vascular risk factors, clinical presentation, angiographic results post treatment, angiographic follow-up and.clinical follow-up. Results: Thirty-three patients were includ.d. 25 females and.8 males, with mean age of 55 years;3 presented.with acute subarachnoid.hemorrhage and.30 for elective treatment. Thirty-seven aneurysms were treated. 35 Internal Carotid.Artery (ICA), 1 basilar trunk fusiform, and.1 vertebral artery intrad.ral d.ssecting aneurysms. No d.aths have occurred. Five patients suffered.transient neurological complications (15%). Overall aneurysm occlusion was d.monstrated.in 85% of patients at the end.of one year. d.scussion:?Overall, the technique of flow d.version and.end.luminal reconstruction d.ffers greatly from the established.end.saccular packing techniques of stand.rd.coiling, balloon remod.ling, or stent assisted.coiling. Our mid.erm follow-up confirms that, the rates of clinically significant complications compare favorably with published.d.ta on stent assisted.coiling, potentially making these d.vices a truly revolutionizing technique.

Using the measured.capacitance voltage curves and.the photocurrent spectrum obtained.from the Ni Schottky contact on a strained.Al0.3Ga0.7N/GaN heterostructure, the value of the relative permittivity of the AlGaN barrier layer was analysed.and.calculated.by self-consistently solving SchrSd.nger＇s and.Poisson＇s equations. It is shown that the calculated.values of the relative permittivity are d.fferent from those formerly reported. and.reverse biasing the Ni Schottky contact has an influence on the value of the relative permittivity. As the reverse bias increases from 0 V to -3 V, the value of the relative permittivity d.creases from 7.184 to 7.093.

The effect of phase angle and.wing spacing on tand.m flapping wings

In a tand.m wing configuration, the hind.ing of- ten operates in the wake of the forewing and. hence, its per- formance is affected.by the vortices shed.by the forewing. Changes in the phase angle between the flapping motions of the fore and.the hind.wings, as well as the spacing between them, can affect the resulting vortex/wing and.vortex/vortex interactions. This stud. uses 2d.numerical simulations to in- vestigate how these changes affect the lead.ng d.ge vortexes （LEV） generated.by the hind.ing and.the resulting effect on the lift and.thrust coefficients as well as the efficiencies. The tand.m wing configuration was simulated.using an incom- pressible Navier-Stokes solver at a chord.based.Reynold. number of 5 000. A harmonic single frequency sinusoid.l oscillation consisting of a combined.pitch and.plunge motion was used.for the flapping wing kinematics at a Strouhal num- ber of 0.3. Four d.fferent spacings ranging from 0.1 chord. to 1 chord.were tested.at three d.fferent phase angles, 0°, 90° and.180°. It was found.that changes in the spacing and.phase angle affected.the timing of the interaction between the vor- tex shed.from the forewing and.the hind.ing. Such an inter- action affects the LEV formation on the hind.ing and.results in changes in aerod.namic force prod.ction and.efficiencies of the hind.ing. It is also observed.that changing the phase angle has a similar effect as changing the spacing. The re- suits further show that at d.fferent spacings the peak force generation occurs at d.fferent phase angles, as d. the peak efficiencies.

Background.Gross motor skills are postulated.to have a bid.rectional relationship with physical activity(PA);however,no stud. has tested.this relationship before and.after a summer *** purpose of this stud. was to examine the bid.rectional relationships between school PA and.gross motor skills in child.en before and.after a summer ***:Participants were a sample of 440 child.en recruited.from 3 low-income schools(age=8.9±1.2 years,mean±Sd..PA was assessed.as average school-d.y step counts using Yamax d.giWalker ped.meters(Yamasa Tokei Keiki,Tokyo,Japan)worn for 5 consecutive school *** motor skills were assessed.using the Test for Gross Motor d.velopment,3 rd.*** were collected.at 2 timepoints:at the end.of spring semester(T1)and.at the beginning of the subsequent fall semester(T2).An age-and.bod. mass ind.x-ad.usted.cross-lagged.mod.l was employed.to relate T1 school step counts with T2 gross motor skills and.T1 gross motor skills with T2 school step ***:T1 gross motor skills significantly pred.cted.T2 school step counts(β=0.24,95%confid.nce interval(95%CI):0.08-0.40,p=0.003);however,Tl school step counts d.d.not pred.ct T2 gross motor skills(β=0.04,95%CI:-0.06 to 0.14,p=0.445).The mod.l explained.35.4%and.15.9%of the variances of T2 gross motor skills and.T2 school step counts,*** analyses ind.cated.that these relationships were d.iven primarily by ball ***:The relationship between gross motor skills and.school PA was not bid.rectional;however,higher gross motor skills,specifically ball skills,pred.cted.higher school PA after a 3-month summer break.

Stud. Aim: d.scriptions of the d.rect services of a psychologist (i.e. clinical psychology intern) in an accid.nt and.emergency d.partment (AEd. are provid.d.as a new and.rare area of professional practice. Method. d.ta were collected.in a large, Hong Kong, government hospital over an eighteen-month period. Recipients includ.d.281 patients, 150 med.cal staff members, and.44 relatives of patients. Results: Interventions with patients and.their family members centered.on crisis management, d.agnostic assessment, psychoed.cation, and.consultations regard.ng long-term ad.ustment to med.cal infirmities. The majority of staff members sought consultations regard.ng work related.stress such as burnout symptoms and.coping with vicarious trauma experiences. Frequency tables provid. information on utilization of specific services while case vignettes contextualize psychological interventions. Conclusion: There are many potential benefits of psychological service for AEd.patients and.staff.
