Quaternary ammonium compounds(QACs)are commonly used in a variety of consumer and commercial products,typically as a component of *** the COVID-19 pandemic,QACs became one of the primary agents utilized to inactivate the SARS CoV-2 virus on ***,the ecotoxicological effects of QACs upon aquatic organisms have not been fully *** this study,we examined the effects of a widely used QAC(benzalkonium chloride-C_(14),BAC-14)on two toxigenic Microcystis strains and one non-toxigenic freshwater Microcystis strain and carried out an analysis focused on primary,adaptive and compensatory stress responses at apical(growth and photosynthesis)and metabolic *** analysis revealed that the two toxic Microcystis strains were more tolerant than the non-toxic strain,with 96 hr-EC_(50)values of 0.70,0.76,and 0.38 mg/L BAC-14 for toxigenic *** FACHB-905,toxigenic *** FACHB-469,and non-toxigenic *** FACHB-908,*** photosynthetic activities of the Microcystis,assessed via F_(v)/F_(m) values,were significantly suppressed under 0.4 mg/L ***,this analysis revealed that BAC-14 altered 14,12,and 8 metabolic pathways in *** FACHB-905,*** FACHB-469,and *** FACHB-908,*** is noteworthy that BAC-14 enhanced the level of extracellular microcystin production in the toxigenic Microcystis strains,although cell growth was not significantly ***,these data show that BAC-14 disrupted the physiological and metabolic status of Microcystis cells and stimulated the production and release of microcystin,which could result in damage to aquatic systems.

洪湖周边三种典型养殖类型池塘浮游植物群落特征及其与环境因子的关系

不同养殖水体浮游植物群落结构和丰度的变化,可反映水质和水产品状态,认识其变化特征和驱动力,对养殖管理和尾水处理有重要的指导意义。本研究于2019-2020年在洪湖养殖区域选择了三种典型养殖类型池塘(克氏原螯虾、中华绒螯蟹、大宗淡水鱼,以下分别简称为龙虾塘、河蟹塘和鱼塘),解析了各类型池塘浮游植物的物种组成、细胞密度、生物量和多样性的季节变化趋势。结果显示:(1)共检测到浮游植物132种,隶属于7门96属。浮游植物细胞密度和生物量总体趋势为鱼塘>河蟹塘>龙虾塘,年平均细胞密度分别为1.06×10^(8)、6.04×10^(7)和2.35×10^(7)cell/L,年平均生物量(叶绿素a表示)分别为94.82、65.95和31.15μg/L。(2)三种养殖模式池塘中浮游植物群落结构具有显著性差异,并具有明显的季节演替。春夏两季中龙虾塘与河蟹塘的浮游植物群落结构组成更为相似,而秋冬两季中河蟹塘与鱼塘更为相似。龙虾塘和河蟹塘浮游植物多样性指数和均匀度指数均在收获季节(龙虾为夏季,河蟹为秋季)最低。(3)冗余分析结果表明温度(Temp)、溶氧(DO)、pH和溶解性总磷(DTP)是影响养殖池塘中浮游植物群落组成的主要环境因子。多元线性回归模型显示,不同季节中解释浮游植物生物量变化的主要因素不同,春季和秋季为总氮(TN)和养殖动物类型,冬季为TP、DTP、NH_(4)^(+)-N。鉴于各养殖类型在排水季节的浮游植物优势类群变动,建议加强养殖尾水监控,以预判尾水种源迁移对邻近水域的潜在影响。

益气活血汤联合沙库巴曲缬沙坦治疗扩张型心肌病并心力衰竭的临床研究

目的:观察益气活血汤联合沙库巴曲缬沙坦对扩张型心肌病(DCM)并心力衰竭病人临床症状及心室重构的影响。方法:选取2020年1月—2023年1月DCM并心力衰竭病人99例,按随机数字表法分为对照组49例(给予沙库巴曲缬沙坦治疗)和观察组50例(益气活血汤联合沙库巴曲缬沙坦治疗),比较两组临床疗效,治疗前后中医症状积分、心排量指标[心输出量(CO)、心指数(CI)、左室射血时间(LVET)、左心作功指数(LCWi)、外周阻力(SVR)]、心室重构指标[左室射血分数(LVEF)、左室收缩末期内径(LVESD)、左室舒张末期内径(LVEDD)]、血清B型利钠肽原(NT-proBNP)、超敏C反应蛋白(hs-CRP)、心肌肌钙蛋白I(cTnI)水平。结果:观察组总有效率为88.00%,高于对照组的71.43%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组各项中医症状积分、SVR、LVESD、LVEDD、NT-proBNP、hs-CRP均低于治疗前(P<0.05),CO、CI、LVET、LCWi、LVEF均高于治疗前,且观察组优于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:益气活血汤联合沙库巴曲缬沙坦可改善DCM并心力衰竭病人临床症状、心功能及心室重构,安全性较高。

目的:分析某院血液肿瘤患者的临床分离病原菌分布及耐药情况,为临床经验性治疗该类患者合并感染提供用药指导。方法:采用回顾性分析的方法,收集某院2021年7月至2022年6月间住院的血液肿瘤患者分离的病原菌分布及耐药情况,并对结果展开分析。结果:共收集血液肿瘤患者86例,检出病原菌124株,其中革兰氏阴性菌72株(占58.06%),革兰氏阳性菌49株(占39.52%),真菌3株(占2.42%),检出最多的病原菌为大肠埃希菌28株(占22.58%);药敏试验结果显示,大肠埃希菌对碳青霉烯类抗生素的耐药率较低,金黄色葡萄球菌对青霉素和氨苄西林的耐药率较高。结论:该院2021年7月至2022年6月间住院的血液肿瘤患者分离的病原菌以革兰氏阴性菌为主,其中大肠埃希菌占比最高,病原菌的耐药情况复杂、严峻,为保证及时、准确进行抗感染治疗,提高临床疗效,临床应继续保持患者病原菌的药物敏感性检测。

Structure and immunomodulatory activity of Lentinus edodes polysaccharides modified by probiotic fermentation

Plant-based fermentations provide an untapped source for novel biotechnological *** this study,a probiotic named Lactobacillus fermentum 21828 was introduced to ferment Lentinus *** were extracted from fermented and non-fermented *** and purified via DEAE-52 and Sephadex *** components designated F-LEP-2a and NF-LEP-2a were analyzed by FT-IR,HPGPC,HPAEC,SEM,GC-MS and *** results revealed that probiotic fermentation increased the molecular weight from 1.16×10^(4) Da to 1.87×10^(4) Da and altered the proportions of glucose,galactose and mannose,in which glucose increased from 45.94%to 48.16%.Methylation analysis and NMR spectra indicated that F-LEP-2a and NF-LEP-2a had similar linkage ***,their immunomodulatory activities were evaluated with immunosuppressive ***-LEP and F-LEP improved immune organ indices,immunoglobulin(Ig G and Ig M)and cytokines concentrations;restored the antioxidation capacity of liver;and maintained the balance of gut microbiota.F-LEP displayed better moderating effects on the spleen index,immunoglobulin,cytokines and the diversity of gut microbiota than NF-LEP(200,400 mg/kg).Our study provides an efficient and environment-friendly way for the structural modification of polysaccharides,which helps to enhance their biological activity and promote their wide application in food,medicine and other fields.

Making Use of Plant uORFs to Control Transgene Translation in Response to Pathogen Attack

Selenium nanoparticles biosynthesized by Eurotium cristatum with antimicrobial activity

Selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) are increasingly recognized for their exceptional antibacterial properties. This study aimed to develop a green， safe， and efficient method for the biosynthesis of SeNPs using the fungus Eurotium cristatum (E. cristatum)， a novel approach in SeNP synthesis. The process yielded (36.4 ± 4.22) mg of SeNPs per 1.2 mmol/L sodium selenite supplementation. These SeNPs exhibited an average diameter of 231.7 nm and a negative charge， and they remained stable when stored at 4℃. UV-vis revealed a maximum absorption peak at 212 nm， suggesting effective nanoparticle formation. FT-IR indicated that proteins and carbohydrates in the mycelium contributed to the SeNP synthesis. Concentrations of SeNPs below 50 μg Se/mL did not exhibit cytotoxic effects on the growth and proliferation of human hepatocyte L-02 cells. The minimum inhibitory concentration of SeNPs was found to be 2 mg/mL against both Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-positive) and Escherichia coli (Gram-negative). The SeNPs compromised the cellular integrity of test strains， causing leakage of intracellular contents and disruption of the oxidative stress system， leading to irreversible damage. Our results demonstrate the potential of SeNPs biosynthesized by E. cristatum to act as effective antibacterial agents， signifying a novel and promising approach to developing natural antimicrobial solutions.

Changes in the phytoplankton community structure of the Backshore Wetland of Expo Garden, Shanghai from 2009 to 2010

Phytoplankton community structure,abundance,and species'spatial and temporal distributions were examined for the Backshore Wetland of Expo Garden in Shanghai from September 2009 to August 2010.A total of 371 phytoplankton species were identified from 109 genera 8 *** were 18 dominant species in total,and Phormidium tenue was dominant during four *** mean annual abundance and biomass were 711.11×10^(4) cells/L and 5.70 mg/L,*** seasonal changing trend of existing stocks was bimodal,with main peaks of density and biomass occurring in the winter and a secondary peaks occurring in the *** Shannon–Wiener diversity index(H′),the Margalef species richness index(D),and Pielou's species evenness index(J)showed a clear seasonal *** of the indices showed a changing pattern,with the highest recorded values from the summer to autumn and the lowest recorded values from the winter to *** canonical correspondence analysis(CCA)showed that environmental factors,including water temperature,nitrate nitrogen,and pH were the main influencing factors to the change of phytoplankton community structure in the Backshore Wetland of Expo Garden in Shanghai.
